    Chicago dog
    Vincent S.

Excellent hot dogs! I ordered one, just to try it. I ended up ordering a second one. Service is friendly. The location was near my gate, making this a perfect location. They seemed to have a steady flow but was never too packed and got through orders quickly. The setting was great with good music playing while you ate and drank. If in the area, stop on by!

Service was quick and polite. I didn't get a chance to eat a Chicago-style dog, so figured why not try it before flying home? I thought it was pretty good. It was about $7. Which meant the beer was about... $13? (The beer was also a big portion for me, but that's ok.) The total came out to about $20 which isn't terrible for airport food... one might argue that's really good for decent food

Quick convenient Vienna Beef Chicago dog and mini bar right next to my gate. It was the closest thing to a hot dog stand. They had legit Vienna beef dogs in a legit cart and the put all the toppings on it right before my connecting flight. The service was very fast to accommodate my less than one hour layover and empty stomach and the ambiance was that of a hot dog stand with alcohol which is nice - even though I didn't drink.

Ok, so it's not Portillo's, but their Chicago Hot Dog is pretty darn good (you get the same 'can't get the deli smell off your hands' here). Reasonable price for the hot dog; not so much for the beer. Pleasant service. Tiny bar; only have six stools, so may have to eat away from the counter.

Pretty good for airport food. I really liked the quesadilla. The restaurant was huge and food came out hot and fresh. We would go back

Chicago Style Hot Dog with fresh toppings: tomatoes, pickled peppers, green relish, onions, and some yellow mustard.

Rating solely on the Chicago dog that we had. We had a layover and wanted something quick and on the go. Our gate was at H18 so as we hurried over to our gate, we saw this sign offering "Chicago Style Hot Dogs" at this bar near gate H14 in Terminal 3. I rushed over to grab two hot dogs for my husband and I and it was the most delicious Chicago style hot dog that I've ever eaten. I've tried Portillos and their hotdogs don't even compare these ones. The service was friendly, quick and we got our hotdogs in less than 10 minutes. I can't rate on the atmosphere as it is essentially a bar. If you never had a Chicago style hot dog before, it's essentially a hotdog topped with fresh tomatoes, pickled, hot peppers, raw onions, sweet relish, and yellow mustard. I don't know what kind of relish they used but my husband and I enjoyed it very much. It was so fresh, had that airy crunch to it, vibrantly green, and perfectly sweetened. The bun itself was like a potato bun as it was bouncy, fluffy, and went so well with smokiness of the hotdog. What I would do to have another one of these hot dogs! Sadly, we won't be heading that way for a while but the next time that we do, I am going to grab at least 5 of these hot dogs. They make them right in front of you too! They're that dang on great!!!

768657 Hans Urbano sacrifices customers for being on his smartphone. He had no interest checking out my sandwich. I went to other register and was in line 3 back, showed her my sandwich and she said okay. When I got to register she said I had to go back to Hans. She joked with customers like I was the idiot! Hans mumbled my sandwich price not acknowledging me whatsoever. After purchase, he went right back to scrolling on his phone.

    $12 beer.

When you're in Terminal 3, far, far away from things near gates H for American Airlines, your options are very limited. When in need of a drink, this is basically the only close option. And it's not great. They scream to you for your order without giving you a menu or options so you clamor to see what drinks they have on tap...since that's all you can see...Then scream back. Ugh. $11 for a Sam Adams Rebel IPA which is a silly expensive price. Line was long and service was impersonal verging on rude & being treated like cattle.

Chicago style hotdog inside the airport

Great location if you are flying out of H14 since it is right next to it. They only have like 8 seats at the bar with 2 standing table available. No food menu, just some pre-made sandwiches and Chicago style hot dogs. At less than $5 for a hot dog inside an airport was great. It even has the yellow mustard, onions, green sweet pickle relish, tomato, dill pickle spear and sport peppers. However, you pay for it for the beers. $12 for a draft. Overall an ok experience. At least I have a drink in my hand all the way till they call your boarding group since you are only a few steps away.

    Patron Margarita great bartender friendly
    Nicole W.

This place is great for an airport bar great hot dog not skimpy, great patron margarita yes 13 for patron but worth it...I would also like to point out that liquor rules and ABC you can't lay your head down on a bar or fall asleep at a bar because it holds the bartender and bar responsible whether you drank there or not,so that isn't a thing and I find it quite pathetic that people take their flight issues out on a bar that had nothing to do with it they are following the rules or they won't have their liquor license....just saying the bartender was personable and made great drinks I saw his efficiency and hospitable attitude with every guest hear today even when they were not all that nice and the cook was quick as well and still presented a great looking a delicious tasting hot dog only 4.49...

The first impression was nice, calm, and professional in appearance. The seating was nicely laid out, plenty of different areas. I absolutely loved the library-esque atmosphere, THIS is what a lounge is supposed to be... not having kids running around, yelling, horseplaying, annoying guests. There were kids and they were well-mannered. They have a champagne and wine bar here - though not as nice as many other first class lounges, it was a nice offering and the brands were very nice too. They also offered a fun bloody mary bar which was self-service. This was really interesting as they offered so many things one could put in their bloody mary. Food here was tasty... the eggs were amazing. They offered an omelete station too. Overall, it was a nice visit.

When you get past the security, you enter a good sized lounge with plenty of food and drinks. Interestingly, every food item is labeled and the labels let you know about any allergens in that item. They also have a stocked bar with various liquors as well as beer and wine. Everything was good. I tried everything I could so the list is long and, frankly, I don't remember everything I ate. All I can tell you is the food was very good. There is plenty of seating, so unless they have a lot of flights going on, you can find a seat. The seating was comfortable and we took a table by the food which we frequented... The wine selection was much better than I expected and I enjoyed some Pinot Noir. This was a great experience - one we don't take advantage of often. So, what I can tell you is it is much, much better than sitting at the gate. :)

There are four Framery privacy pods. Two with adjustable seats and desk tops and two without seats in a stand up desk configuration. These pods are quiet and have charging capability (1 USB-C and 1 115V). Overhead lighting is fully adjustable along with the front facing lighting for video conference calls. There is also an adjustment for the ventilation fan however I have found that, even on the highest setting, they can get warm. There are most of the same food options as the F9 location but on a smaller scale. There are self-serve options for soft drinks and coffee. In lieu of a tended bar, there is a self-serve bar with an assortment of juices, wines and beers. Like most United Clubs, there isn't a whole lot of interaction with the staff. That said, they all seem friendly enough and this location is clean and well maintained. Would I go back? I've actually been to this location a few times now and like it. So far, it's a quieter alternative to some of the other locations.

The reason this lounge was designed as such a large space is due to the fact that there's a lot of people in here. That's just something to keep in mind as a basis for your understanding. In terms of design, this lounge has various types of seating. They have the more comfortable chairs located throughout the various rooms at this lounge. They also have numerous seats that are associated with tables. This is probably best for people like myself, who enjoyed grabbing a quick snack, and having a drink, before it's time to board the aircraft. They also have long desks with charging ports set up for those who want to get some work done. Plus, there are some self-standing seats spread out throughout the lounge area. In terms of food offerings, they have food buffets on two ends of the lounge. Both of these buffets offer a unique blending of Quick-Food, as I like to call it. Is pretty good. I will say, that I've never been disappointed in what they offer. You can always find something to suit your pallet. In terms of drinks, they have drink offerings at both ends of the lounge, as well, in association with the food buffets. There, you can get your expected soft drinks, coffee, and water. If you want alcoholic beverages, you have to go down to the one end of the lounge, where they have a bar. There, they generally have two bartenders. Each of which is happy to give you whatever you want. They often mix drinks, beers, wine, and all that kind of stuff. Many of the drinks are all free. But, if they are, be sure to throw the bartenders a tip. I think that's an important gesture. Some people decide to sit along the bar while they enjoy their drinks. I guess they are just type of people who enjoying hanging out at bars. I don't find out all that comfortable, or appealing, as you're basically elbow-to-elbow with somebody, you don't really know. But, that's just my personal opinion. If I have one complaint about this lounge, it's the fact that it's not really set up for the first class domestic passengers on United. Whereas, is you are flying internationally on United, they use the Star Alliance lounges that are specifically designed for its first and business class passengers. In terms of this lounge, pretty much anybody can get into it, simply by paying a sixty dollar fee. Thus, you get a whole lot of people, Just overwhelming space, without a lot of decorum. Overall, I've been in much better lounges, and I've been in a lot worse lounges around the globe. There's not much to complain about this place, you just have to expect that there's gonna be a lot of people. I have seen it at times midday, when people can't even find a single seat to sit in. So, just keep this in mind.

This is my first experience with an airport lounge, and frankly, I could get used to this! That said, while markedly nicer than waiting by the gate, the experience wasn't perfect. There is free food, coffee, and Coke products available. The food involved a hot entree, a couple sandwiches, soups, salads, snacks, nibbles, and desserts. There is also coffee, espresso beverages, and a Coke machine. The quality of the items was adequate. Since airports aren't usually gourmet destinations, I happily devoured everything on my plate. Happy that one is not relegated to McDonald's and can opt for something healthier.a Speaking of which, while you are free to go up as many times as you wish, the plates and cups are very small, needing several visits for those like myself, who have a black hole within their stomachs. Perhaps this is to encourage people to keep their goodies in the lounge, rather than take 16oz coffee cups onto planes. It would still be nice to have larger plates, so I save my steps for the terminals rather than making repeated trips to the buffet... especially since I don't want to leave my property unattended. In terms of the lounge itself, everything was very clean. There is ample seating, and there should be a spot available, but expect to share the lounge with many others. While both the armchairs and [high] chairs are firmer than I'd like, they do beat out terminal seating overall. Also, while not needed by me, I respect that they have "phone rooms" for those who may need to take a private phone call or attend a work meeting. A private room is more for you, though, as the lounge is more chill, without the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Finally, there are plenty of outlets throughout, and the WiFi is faster by miles. All the staffers in the lounge, from those who check you in, to the bartender, to those keeping everything bussed and clean were fantastic! I was about to dust my hands off and leave four stars... that was until I realized that they have an open bar! There's nothing like starting a trip with a drink to get in the mood. Sure, it isn't really free being included with the ticket price, but if I'm already paying for airfare, not having to pay $20 for a small and weak drink is a phenomenal bonus. Last but certainly not least are the restrooms: These were much cleaner and nicer than the rest of the airport. Think of a nicer mall as opposed to "airport." Final verdict: I can now see why lounge access is such a wonderful perk of either non-economy seats or certain credit cards. I love airports because of my love for travel and airplanes, not so much everything else. The United Club is great for making that which stands between TSA and being in the air more pleasant.
