The Delta Sky Club at Chicago O'Hare (Terminal 5) is one of the bigger and better Sky Clubs we've visited recently. In terms of scale and aesthetic, it reminds me of the Sky Clubs at LaGuardia (Terminal C) and LAX (Terminal 3), both of which we visited within the past year. Coincidentally, all three opened in 2022, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they all remind me of each other. This is the only Sky Club at O'Hare. It's located in Concourse M between Gates M14 and M11. It's big at over 22,000 square feet with seating for about 400 guests. The food, drink, and service were good -- generally consistent with my experiences at other Sky Clubs in recent years. My favorite feature of this particular Sky Club is the Chicago-style hot dog cart. During our visit, it was tucked away near the secondary bar. Our Chicago dogs were authentic and delicious. If I recall correctly, the hot dog guy said the cart was only meant for the lounge's opening; however, it was so popular that it became a permanent fixture in the lounge. Another one of the staff voluntarily asked me which game I wanted to watch on the big screen TV near me and he changed the channel for me. That was nice. read more

Love the Sky Club at ORD! The common areas and the women's restroom are always clean, and the bar and buffet areas are modern looking with great views of the tarmac. There is plenty of seating and it has never been annoyingly noisy any time I have been there. The complimentary Chicago dogs at the hot dog cart are also a fun treat! read more

Wow! Now I know what I've been missing. There are tons of comfy seating with plenty of outlets to charge your devices. The bathrooms are lovely -- skip the regular ORD bathrooms! I grabbed a beet salad, pita, and hummus. I had some lemonade, but you have so many drink choices. I was able to board my flight directly from the lounge. Ahhh, what a pleasant way to start an evening of travel. read more

Really nice sky lounge in ORD. it has a very modern and clean feel. They still use reusable plates and utensils vs the cardboard plates and plastic utensils in other sky lounges. The breakfast was the standard that I have seen at other lounges. This was very spacious and not overcrowded, but it was early in the morning around 8am. I was surprised with the restrooms since they have the fancy lights to indicate whether they are available or not. I was sitting just scrolling away on my phone and one of the staff came by to pick my empty plate which surprised me as I usually take it to a tray. I would highly recommend stopping by this one. read more

Flew La Guardia to O'Hare and back the same day to New York for a quick lunch meeting in Chicago. I was looking forward to checking this lounge off my list. First impressions were very positive. Clean, calm, well maintained. It was a Friday late afternoon and flight would be past 5pm. I liked the buffet options which were all laid out in one area but had like 2 rows and categories. I wasn't hungry but I wasn't planning on having dinner anymore when I landed so I was specifically looking for one thing: the Chicago Hotdog cart, which was found on the further end, next to the other bar. I met William there and he was such a warm and friendly guy and made sure I did get the Chicago Hotdog version and advised to not put ketchup or it otherwise won't be LOL. That hotdog plus a glass of champagne plus sitting by the best area seeing all the planes and our specific plane made for the best Friday afternoon waiting in the lounge. What made the 5-star experience was direct boarding from the lounge to the plane itself. Didn't even need to get out of the lounge and line up outside. Just a few of us who were in the lounge and went ahead to our seats. Pretty sweet! Looking forward to enjoying this lounge again on my next business trips! This Lounge is so impressive. The staff hands down are awesome !! Great lounge is always in impeccable condition. Bathroom/showers/wellness rooms/family rooms are always clean and plenty of room for everyone in the lounge. Food is good and nicely rotated with the choices that are available. Staff is always replenishing food. The dessert choices are always yummy especially the lemon bars. The bartender remembered me from my last visit which was cool. The drinks are always and I do mean always on point. I love to get an old fashioned and once again the bartender always makes them right. The staff that checks you in are always so friendly and helpful. Once I needed some extra help checking in and staff member was exceptionally kind and helpful. 5 stars is the most i avn give here but The Delta Lounge deserves 20 stars!!! read more

I'm a LaGuardia girl. I'll always be a LaGuardia girl. New York is my home. But this Sky Club is very nice. I am told Laguardia. O'hare, and LAX are competing for top Sky Club in the US. This club has metallic textures, muted neutral tones, and tall windows. A huge variety of seating options, including believer benches, alcoves with tables, circular chairs that hug you, and deep seats that can swallow you. The breakfast buffet is typical of most Sky Clubs. Breakfast is omelets, sausages, oatmeal, parfaits, bagels, fruit. Haven't tried lunch or dinner yet, but I know there is a Chicago hotdog cart that makes an appearance sometimes. Though I'm a LaGuardia stan forever, O'hare's Sky Club is less crowded and calmer. It's also a little more divided, meaning there are many areas you can escape to depending on your mood. It reminds me of the BNA/Nashville club in many ways. Employees are personable and helpful, but I've almost never met a Delta employee who wasn't. LGA is my number one, but the quietness of this lounge is a nice oasis. Oh, and one BIG perk, sky club members get a special boarding entrance where they get to bypass the gate! read more

This is one of the largest DSC lounges I've seen. It was huge. They had places to shower and felt like it was an entire floor of the airport. Really nice. Relaxing. Even though it was crowded. New club that opened in October of 2022. Very modern and spacious! The club boasts "...expanded food and beverage offerings served from two buffets, including charcuterie, seasonal salads, freshly made sandwiches, hot entrees and vegetation selections." All accurate but the food is just slightly above average. Everything looks very appealing but not really that good. Possibly my taste buds that day? Maybe. I just never grabbed seconds of anything. Well, except the for Chicago style dogs! Those were good! The dogs are actually located as a stand in the back of the lounge by the second bar area. First I thought they only served this on Fridays but it was also provided on Sunday when I flew back. All the bathrooms have a button to open the door with touch sensors for the soap and hand dryer built into the sink. Kind of cool but not sure I like hand dryers blowing into the sink and then back at me. The lounge is also super convenient if you need to rebook your flight. I had a 7:00 PM flight and had standby for 5:00. I got to the lounge at 1:00 and they a special area in the lounge to get standby for the 2:20 flight. read more

Super spacious, new Delta Sky Club in the new domestic part of Terminal 5. We got in right when it opened at 4:30 am, and was able to stay about 45 minutes. They have the new self check-in kiosks, so getting in was a breeze. We found some nice comfortable chairs next to each other. There are other places for more quiet, nice big work areas, and even areas to lay back and watch sports/news on big screens. It's an impressive space, with ceilings two stories and one really open area with great views out into the tarmac. There is a nice open bar (closed for breakfast) and full self-serve soda station. They also have the new espresso machines which my wife liked. The food at breakfast was plentiful, with the usual contintental breakfast items. I wish we could have come for lunch....I spied a Vienna Beef hot dog stand...at first I thought it was just decoration but the other reviews here state that they serve full Chicago style hot dogs (would have loved that). The bathrooms followed the same style as the Club in LA, but had the extra of touchless entry. The stalls are floor to ceiling, which is just great. They also have multiple private shower rooms that can be reserved through a kiosk. It's clear that Delta is taking a holistic look at all their Sky Clubs and drawing the best out of each one to continuously update. It really makes me appreciate my membership. It never even came close to 1/10 full while we were there. Chicago is not a hub for Chicago, and it takes a connection to get to Los Angeles via Delta....but this Sky Club is the size and complexity of a club meant for a lot more flights. The good news is that I dont' see this club ever being overcrowded while the number of flights from ORD is as limited as right now. But maybe this is a clue that Delta intends to go bigger in the Chicago market. Till then, Chicago, enjoy your brand new, spanking Delta Sky Club. It's really nice. read more

Came to the Delta Sky Lounge at Ohare Airport Terminal 5 as I waited for my 57min flight back home. Overall had a great time relaxing and grabbed some great eats. Chicago styled Vienna beef hotdogs were being served as well as the delta traditional bites and goodies. The full bar was well stocked as I decided to change up pace with a mojito which was muddled and made to perfection! Checking out the brand new Delta Sky Club in Terminal 5 that just opened a week ago. It's so nice here!! Less crowded than the LAX one. It's large and spacious. Tons of seats with charging outlets. Bathrooms and showers are nice and big. Staff constantly fill the food up, wipe down the counters and tables, remove dirty plates and cups from tables. We had a number of hours to kill before our flight. So, of course you head to the lounge. Fortunately, I was before my 2.5 hour visit time but they were slow and left us in early. Anyhow, nothing special about this lounge compared to others expect one thing. The bartender named William, what a genuinely nice guy. He made us a few special drinks with limited supplies. Not only was he nice to us, but to everyone that he spoke to. I was tired, ready to go home and just waiting to get on the plane. William made our day, I left with a smile and a sour stomach from laughing so much. So, if you find yourself in Chicago, find William, a middle-aged Mexican gentlemen with a smile. This place was bit smaller than what I had expected. The place is cramped, chairs are all lined up really close to each other... be mindful that you will NOT get your 6 feet distance. Mask while mandatory, not lot of folks were wearing them. Different food stations, all the drinks you want and the staff members were all friendly and welcoming. The food offerings here were limited vs offered in Detroit Sky Club. It's worthy place to stop by while waiting for your flight, rather than waiting by the gate. read more

I got to go in here as a guest of a Platinum card carrying member. Since I don't fly as much, I don't have much to compare this to. I will say, there were nice places to sit and relax, there were okay appetizers to munch on, and it was cool to people watch, as many of us were stranded due to the winter storm. It's definitely different than being at the terminal, but it's not like you can just come up here, so a review may not be the most helpful. I have been in the American Airlines club, as well, and from my recollection, it was better than Delta (better food, more updated, bigger)... so there's that. Tina at the front desk was so incredibly rude to me today. She denied me access even though my boarding pass scanned through and I showed her my receipt that I paid in full for the membership. She made a whole scene. Told me "I can't go in now" I thought she was kidding so I smiled to go on and she physically blocked me with a smirk and said "I'm not kidding you cannot come in until you call customer service and make sure your account is active". I did that and they confirmed but by this time I had to go to my flight anyway. Long time Diamond member and paying club member. They literally let everyone in these clubs now and to deny me over their computer mistake is ridiculous. read more

This is a members only kind of club. You either need to have a Platinum AMEX (or similar) or be at Delta's Diamond Status. Other Delta Medallion member can purchase a year long membership. Before 2019, if you had the Delta AMEX, you could get a day pass for $29. They have done away with that to try and reduce the number of guests. So unless you have the credit card or are with someone with a membership, sorry about your luck. The annual fee for the AMEX is about the cost of purchasing a membership $500ish (I think they just upped it this year from $495). The lounge is fine, but not the best. It is a self-service (food and alcohol) Sky Club, which is nice. It seems to always be crowded, but I've always been able to find a seat when travelling alone. When I check in, it seems like there are more credit card members that Diamond medallions, which doesn't help the overcrowding. read more

Near gate E6, the Sky Club had plenty of seating at 10:30AM, and the seating wascomfy. The choices for breakfast were varied (eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more) with Dasani water, coffee, juices, canned soda, and a self-serve bar(bourbon, whiskey, tequila, vodka with mixers. and a selection of red & white wines). If you prefer beer, there are two on tap. At 11AM, they brought out lunch items (carrots, broccoli, celery, hummus, lettuce, chicken salad and more). The view of the planes and tarmac through large windows was entertaining. That also had a selection of newspapers and magazines. Outlets for power(AC or USB) were available, but not at every seat. They had the requisite restrooms (small), a business center, and 2 TVs. The fireplace had comfortable seating around it. Lots of art was on the wall or in cases set into the wall. The staff was friendly, making sure all were comfortable, and filling empty dishes or replacing empty bottles. This was a wonderful place to rest, relax, eat & drink. read more

I love that they've kept the lounge open and figured out ways to still keep the same level of service despite COVID. The food is prepared and individually packaged. O'Hare is one of the worst airports, so I guess it's only fitting that this is one of the worst Sky Clubs. Dark, low ceilinged, and cavernous, it is clearly dated and not kept up with Delta's latest Sky Club features. It is consistently crowded, since O'Hare is a busy airport yet this is the only Sky Club in the airport. The Club stretches back through a series of narrow, long rooms. The food is towards the back of the club, and the bar is all the way in the back in the room furthest from the entrance. The food is meh. They only have the most basic options, with non of the upgraded food items you may find in other lounges. The cold buffet is also fairly small, so only expect a few crudite and cold salad options here. The one upside to this dated lounge is that the alcoholic beverages are self-service. That's good, because service is essentially nonexistent. Expect disposable plates and silverware and prepare to clear your own dishes. read more

I was flying to Boston out of Chicago and happened to be flying Delta Airlines. I have an AMEX Platinum that allows me to access the lounge if I am flying Delta, so this is obviously a great perk to have. I had an early morning flight, so it was nice escape to grab some coffee and some breakfast to start the day. Compared to other Delta lounges that I have been to, this one feels a bit smaller, but that's because Delta doesn't have a huge presence in Chicago. I was able to find a seat and then go grab a wide variety of breakfast items like French Toast, Oatmeal/cereal, fresh berries, yogurt, etc. They had fresh Starbucks coffee and an espresso maker as well. It was quite enjoyable to just relax before my flight. Overall, if you can get into the lounge, it's definitely worth going to. I like having more semi-private and more cleaned bathrooms along with the option of beverages, and food along with a place to relax instead of all of the hustle and bustle of O'Hare. read more

It's weird being in a Delta club in Chicago....because it's American Air Land! With that said, Delta is my go to airline & if they let me in for free who's going to turn that down? All the Delta Sky Clubs are pretty similar - but this one does get pretty crowded during the day. It's also on the smaller size. There is no "bar" here they use leave the liquor out for you to pour at your own will - and there are a ton of business people that come through this club. They are always very nice here - so that's a plus! read more

O'Hare is never the easiest of airports to begin with, but at least this Sky Club (although very, very cramped) has self-serve at the bar. That's always a positive as far as drinks go, even though one downside is that once bottles are empty they can go a long time that way - no exception in this case either. read more

Chicago is not much of a Delta hub, so it's no surprise that the Skyclub is small and crowded...and full of suits...and old school. I get a definite hint of what Delta used to be when I'm here because I'm sure most of the population here has been flying in and out of O'Hare on Delta for decades. The wifi is also pretty terrible but there's a build your own Chicago Dog bar, so that's unique to the region. It's better than nothing but it doesn't really give much indication as to how Delta is as an airline these days. I got in because I had an international flight later that day and was leaving a business trip in Chicago, otherwise typically I would not have had access to this place and their secret of a neglected lounge would otherwise have been safe with them. read more

Not too bad for a sky club. It is smaller than most of the other clubs I've been in, but is is quiet and less crowded also. The entrance is the same, and the club has a lot of comfortable chairs with lots of plugs for your phone or computer. The choice for food was relatively limited as well but the soup was delicious. I also love the fact that it has one of the self service bars!! Bonus!! These are slowly disappearing in other clubs. The place was clean and tidy when I was there. The bathroom was also super clean just small. I like the fact they have a couple areas that you can pop into and make a call or answer a call in relative privacy, without loudly disturbing the rest of the club. New Amex Platinum cardholder. Denied access because I have not yet received my physical card, even though I have the card on Apple Pay and digitally. I asked if I could verify the card through Amex, and they would not negotiate. I could have purchased my entire flight with the Platinum card and still been denied access due to their antiquated policies. It's absurd to require a physical card in 2018, but don't expect any room for negotiation from this club. read more
