I'm nota really big eater but I ate as much as I could because it was that good! The French bread was crispy but not hard, the Au Jus was the perfect dip. And the fries? French kiss Parmesan truffle flavor. I also had a French 75 to drink which was a nice touch all in all my whole meal was a hit!! I will drive out of my way to come back! I love how this place was hidden in the store! Very discreet. The ambiance was very quiet and peaceful. The service was great too. Not many people were inside. Unfortunately the food was not great . For starters... my margarita pizza had fully cut, thick tomatoes on it..... everyone knows that that is not how you make a margarita pizza. I could literally pull off the tomatoes and I am not a tomato fan. So o was definitely disappointed. It was more of an oily cheese pizza. The bread was very soft though. I loved the Caesar salad! Wish I would have gotten and bigger plate and just ate that as my meal. My friend ended up getting some pasta with shrimp. It was good, not great. In the past this place has been OK, but we went today for what was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day lunch combined with some shopping and it was a complete and total train wreck. We ordered and sat there waiting and waiting and waiting for about 50 minutes with absolutely no sign of food except for our child's cup of tomato soup.Finally, we gave up and let them know we were leaving. read more

This restaurant is located on the 3rd level of Nordstrom at perimeter mall. They have a small menu but are great with making substitutions. For example I wanted to eat a dish that had chicken meatballs and sausage however I don't eat pork. The server suggested to get the chicken meatballs from the appetizers and add pasta and the chef was able to make it and mix it together for me. The heirloom tomato buratta is also a great choice as well! I went on a weekday afternoon so I was seated quickly and served quickly as well. They have a full bar as well. read more

This restaurant is on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom in the mail. Coming up the escalator, the smell of the food already filled the air. It was pleasant. I was greeted at the door very promptly with a smiling face. There's is a wonderful view if you sit next to the windows and they seem to have a pretty full bar. I didn't drink as I was on lunch from work. I ordered the wild salmon nicoise since it was one if the few things on the menu that was gluten free and had organic greens. I requested no egg or tomatoes. The potatoes were roasted nicely and the salmon was cooked nearly perfect. I enjoyed the salad. The place was a little loud with the staff talking and things clanging. The background music was decent but with the other noise you couldn't tally tell what song was playing. I would come back bc the food was great! read more

Very surprised at how tasty the meal would be at Nordstrom's. I have been to a special luncheon at the Nordstrom's in Sarasota recently but thought that the normal menu would not be quite as good. I was wrong. It was lovely. I had the pappardelle and my sauce on the side. They were very accommodating and the prices were very reasonable (shocking considering one shoe from this store is in the range of $600). Very happy with the food. The service was not bad, but I think our waiter was a little bit absent minded because it took a couple of tries to get several things through dinner. But he was nice throughout. Located on the 3rd floor of the Nordstom department store. This hidden gem maybe one of the city's last best kept secret.... They not only are a full service restaurant but also a full service bar...the place is cozy and elegant without being stuffy.... Everything is made fresh and you can bet the Nordstom's legendary customer service extends into the dinning area as well...our waiter was not only efficient but informative and knowledgeable about every single item on the menu.... I got the Chicken Mozzarella Ciabatta sandwich (tomato, balsamic glaze, organic baby spinach, pesto aïoli, parmesan ciabatta) and a cup of their famous made from scratch Roma Tomato Basil soup. I love going to Ruscello. The staff is friendly, they aren't intrusive and pushy just to get a tip and most of the food I've had is delicious! The only thing I ever had that I wasn't particularly fond of was the pappardelle. It was too chewy and the sauce was bland. They also had a seasonal pumpkin soup that was not a great choice for me. The bread they give you is good and you can expect them to check in and make sure you're ok. They give honest responses when you're asking for suggestions. If they don't like it they will tell you. I haven't had any of their alcohol, as I normally eat here during a lunch break, but the atmosphere is lively and energetic. I love their chili and their tomato soup! It's so good. All of their pizzas and sandwiches are also great. I will definitely be back. read more

$14 for pasta. I can't believe I paid that much for OK pasta. I was craving Italian food and decided to search out this mysterious place. Turns out going on an adventure on an empty stomach was not a good idea. Nordstrom was hard to find from the main mall. From there, had to look for the restaurant which was on the third floor. I got the bolognese and found it to be unimpressive. The meat sauce did not taste spectacular and well, penne pasta was just pasta. The ambiance looks nice with different types of seating arrangements though. read more

Ruscello is a solid option on the third floor of Nordstrom. I was doing some Christmas shopping Saturday and decided to grab a quick bite at the bar. They have a fully stocked selection of spirits and a professional bartender running the show. I had the ginger sesame salad with salmon, great choice!! read more

Ruscello's is located on the top floor inside Nordstrom's at Perimeter Mall. They have an upscale atmosphere that offers a relaxing place to unwind from a day of shopping or as a destination for lunch/dinner. I was told that in the evenings they lower the lights, put candles on the tables and offer a bread basket with olives - quite romantic (even if it is in the mall). I specifically went for lunch to get their Tomato Basil soup. It is fantastic!! I would recommend it as an add-on to any entree. :) I also ordered the Wild Salmon with Roasted Vegetables & Farro. It was delicious! The salmon was grilled with just the right amount of herbs and the mix of roasted veggies (zucchini, peppers, carrots, baby spinach), parmesan cheese, creamy garlic vinaigrette and farro was the best I have tasted. In addition to entrees they offer a selection of starters, salads, sandwiches, pasta and pizza. Even though the prices were on the high side for lunch, I'm looking forward to returning and trying out some of these other options. :) read more

So glad I listened to my friend and stopped by to try out this place for lunch! Located on the third level inside Nordstrom of Perimeter Mall, this place has awesome tasting food!! The Atmosphere: The tables are very nicely set up, and you'll be greeted and immediately seated as you enter. As soon as we were seated, our server came and greeted us, handed us menus, and immediately brought us water upon our request. The Menu: Unlike what I had expected, the food options didn't seem to be that expensive at all!! They were more average than pricey. We started with an appetizer; fried calamari, and I ordered a Chicken and Artichoke pasta per our server's recommendation. My friend was being boring and ordered a garden vegetable salad. Our appetizer was served in about 5-8 minutes after we placed the order. The Food: Appetizer: The calamari and the sauce are TO DIE for, but I was disappointed that the entire dish wasn't just calamari; there were greens underneath it :/ so, that's the only thing that I didn't like about it and next time I go, I'll probably ask for all calamari and no mixed greens underneath. The entree: It didn't take that long for them to bring out our entree either. The food both looked good and tasted good... or more like DELICIOUS. My friend wasn't disappointed with her dish, but didn't seem so happy when she tried mine and wanted to eat my pasta instead of her "healthy garden vegetable salad." The pasta was amazing. I'll definitely be returning to try the fried calamari and the pasta again. Overall, very happy with my experience. Very attentive and polite staff, great food, and atmosphere. Bravo! Went back for lunch with out of town friends, and this time we had an awesome server! She goes by "SheShe". She was super knowledgeable on menu items and drinks. She proved to be very attentive. The food was excellent! Our guests from out of town were impressed. I ordered the minestrone, and the grilled salmon salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The minestrone was amazing and I highly recommend it. The ingredients were fresh and ripe from the minestrone's juicy tomatoes to the muddled blueberry lavender martini our guest ordered. These two stars are not about the quality of food.. it's always good. It's about the fact that for the 1st time, I ordered curb side pickup and when I got home my salad that I have been craving for days was in the bottom of the bag ( most of the salad had fell out of the box). I tried calling them, but they did not answer the phone .. and I didn't want to drive back over there without knowing that a replacement order would be made.. so I just did without the salad that I paid for ( shrimp and arugula) which is yummy .. when it's not in the bottom of a bag. I still like this restaurant and will return, but if I order curbside I will make sure to check everything before I drive off. Still hungry and my power is off due to the storm. Update; I also bought salmon which they told me was 'wild caught' sockeye salmon. I asked them because I am not supposed to eat farm raised salmon in any shape, form, nor fashion. FYI.. I eat sockeye salmon all of the time. The salmon that they served me is not sockeye salmon. I did not eat it. I did taste it, and it was SALTY as heck. I am going to have this Salmon looked at. I clearly asked them several times what type of salmon it was before I ordered it. The same way I kept asking them if the vegetables and ingredients are organic. I asked because that is what my diet requires. They assured me it was wild caught sockeye salmon. It is not, and it's a problem. I see photos on here of some diners with what looks like Sockeye Salmon. The salmon that they served me is not, when I asked them at least 5 times (including one of the chefs) about the salmon, and I will take a photo of it as well. Rating Changed to one star. read more

I'm never disappointed coming here. They have good quality food and great portions. They have good options on their menu and all the salads are worth trying. Great lunch spot for sure! Caesar salad was well dressed, with anchovy; lobster bisque was tasty, but we had a hard time getting any bread to go with it. I usually couldn't care less about waiters being at my beck and call, and I was totally prepared to cut them slack due to it being the busy holiday shopping season. But there's a difference between being busy, and avoiding eye contact while failing to provide any follow-up service at all to repeated requests for bread. My wife and I had lunch at Ruscello today after shopping at Nordstrom, and found the service incredibly bad. We ordered two salads and coffee. The coffee came after about 15 minutes, but nothing with it. I took me two trips to the service area near the kitchen to ask for someone someone to bring cream and sugar, and three trips by our waiter to finally get everything together. The coffee was cold by this time. After another 30 minutes, my wive's lunch arrived, and we had to remind the waiter that we had no silverware. She took one bite, then called the waiter back to tell him this was not what she ordered. He agreed, took the order back, and eventually came back with our orders. Warts on all. Ruscello, takes the Nordstrom Bistro experience up a notch. Gone are the days you stood in line and ordered at the register, then someone help you to find a seat and then a cadre of people delivered food, water, bills, etc. -- the set up was cumbersome-- but it's what we knew. Today, you're greeted at the door and their is table service, a menu, a very cheerful and helpful staff and bar. Whoa, Nellie this isn't the food court or the good old bistro -- this is another dining option in Sandy Springs. Welcome to the neighborhood. The lunch menu contain several tempting options. On my recent visit we both ordered salad. The salmon nicoise was fabulous--an updated take on a classic dish. The cilantro lime chicken salad was also fresh and tasty. I put both on my order again list. The service is a little slow (meaning the time from placing your order to receiving your food). Complete Teetotalism Paradise. Ordered a Virgin Hurricane, then suggested the bartender make the beverage with pineapple, orange, cranberry, grapefruit, lime/lemon juice, cherry juice/grenadine, etc. What I received was pure Heaven. Really wish I took a picture. It was litterally the best non alcoholic beverage ever. The bartender went above and beyond in my drink as a mixologist perfecting his craft in euphoric bliss. He even added fresh blackberries, strawberries, grapefruit, and oranges to my liquid treasure. The food here was amazing, got the Tuscan Chicken with vegetables. This is the perfect dining experience if you are a foodie like me that loves the experience of seeing the food plated as an art form. Everything is plated so beautifully and perfect. Ruscello's has provided what is quite possibly the best dining experience I have had up until this point in my life. Five star food, five star people, & five star service I felt like I was at home from the moment I walked in the door. AKA Nordstrom Cafe... I love this place. They have an elegant list of eclectic salads that are massive. But, because I am not a go to restaurant and eat a salad type of person, I get the pizza. Specifically, the mushroom and pepperoni pizza. This pizza is simple but delicious. More than enough for one person. Kelly loves their salmon and shrimp salads. The Hummus is great too. The location at Phipps is better than this one, but this place is still great. That's my word and I'm sticking to it. read more
