You can find this location of Marlow's Tavern at 1317 Dunwoody Village Pkwy, Ste 102, Dunwoody, GA 30338 - this is on one of those twisy parts of the road within Dunwoody Village. It's a bit weird to get to the parking - you drive past the restaurant and come at it from the back side. At least the parking is still free - getting tired to factoring in parking for everything in town. I've eaten at various locations of Marlow's Tavern but this was my first time at the Dunwoody Village location. Went there with a group of about 5 people - it as between lunch and dinner so we were seated promptly - in all the service was very good with many visits from the server. For drink, I went with an old standby, Creature Comforts Tropicalia (actually had two pints). For food I ordered the Crispy Grouper Sandwich with a side-salad and came away very satisfied - large breaded pieces of fish stack on a sesame seeded bun. As I recall we split a dessert but it was consumed so quickly I didn't take any images of it. As already mentioned, service was very good - I'll be back for sure.

Came back to Dunwoody to see family and decided to try this place out at the old Chuck's Steakhouse that is now split into two places to eat. The other, a steakhouse, was not open that night (Monday). It was a great evening to sit out on the back deck to end happy hour (Weekdays 4-6). No one was there when we got there, but it started to fill in as we got our food. Inside is a little dark and still has that steakhouse feel, but outside was lively with the fans and heaters to enjoy the hotter/colder times. Our server was nice and took care of us. We started off with happy hour drinks and I got the Old Fashioned that was a little on the sweeter side, but a good start with the Shrimp & Crab "Nachos". This was more like a small pizza crust with the shrimp & crab that came out in four pieces, so we all got to try one. Light-weight and a easy appetizer. I got the Infamous Fish Tacos with Sea Bass that was seasoned perfectly with the slaw and salsa.

I came for the bbq and whisky menu which is only for a limited time. Food was top notch delicious !! The service is friendly and attentive. There's plenty of parking and also a ton of options on their regular menu. It's a nice tavern and clean inside. Lunch crowd is a bit busy but that's a great thing.

We went here for Mother's Day and had such a great experience! Rachel & team went above and beyond! Everyone enjoyed the food and we didn't feel rushed. My mom had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Great sports bar. Attended a DawgNation broadcast/kickoff there last night. Friendly staff, good food, parking and game day perfect

Good service but the noisy Patrons made our evening less enjoyable. I had hoped that they were seating every other booth so that the noise would be baffled somewhat. But they were seating every booth! We went outside on the porch to eat to be more Covid safety conscious. But that was also very noisy! Ordered the shrimp and crab nachos and and firecracker shrimp , Both very good. For my main order I got the prime rib sandwich with okra. The okra was fried hole which I had not had before it was very delicious and fresh! My friends ordered shrimp and grits. Also looks pretty good!

Quick service and good food. We were seated quickly because we arrived before 5. But after 5, the wait went to 45 minutes on a Saturday.

3.5 Despite having…read morenerdy tendencies, this wasn't the place for me. I'm thinking that I experienced it in its weaker era. I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner…read morewith my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

You park outside and have your own parking lot so you have to worry about that but it's very friendly and all the bartenders are really friendly as well. I had been one time and they acted like they were trying to get to know me and I appreciate it that customer service. I just came in for a quick meal to get my macros together, so I got the brussel sprouts and a chicken wrap. The chicken wrap was pretty good. Nothing crazy or nothing amazing or not. Nothing special, but it was still pretty good. The fries were steak fries, cooked pretty well. The brussel sprouts were good. They host Team Trivia every Thursday at 8pm which can be difficult for a younger group, but is still fun. The ambiance of the bar is great. It's definitely a little limited on seating but that allows the bar to have a cozy vibe and really feel like you're in a British Pub. The bar also has some golf arcade games if trivia isn't your thing. Staffing can sometimes be a little light, but when staying for a while and playing trivia it isn't too noticeable. Most of the food is typical bar food and for all my previous visits it was decent but nothing special. However, on my most recent visit I tried their signature meatloaf and it was a level above all the other food and something I will definitely get again. Overall, I think The King George Tavern provides an excellent experience for a trivia night with friends, and I'll continue going back.

We have been wanting to try the bistro filet bites, but what we received was rancid. The meat was cooked, but it had a smell that I noticed only after biting into one, chewing, and immediately spitting it out. It was unbelievably foul-tasting and the worst meat I have ever put in my mouth, which was concerning. We were given a buffalo chicken flatbread that was swimming in so much hot sauce that we had to wipe some off the top to see, let alone, taste, what was underneath. All we did taste was straight up hot sauce. The Shepherd's Pie was a favorite, but the latest entree was largely cauliflower and broccoli with no green beans and no pan sauce. The vegetables are usually amazing and exactly what is pictured on the menu with green beans -- no broccoli or cauliflower in sight.
