An Dy the manager hard at sleep.

This is a very sad place to do any type of shopping. The service is dismal at best. Customer service just doesn't exist anymore and you surely won't get it from management or store personnel at this store. The Selection is t bad but the poor customer service and high prices don't teeter the scale to choice Rural King. I won't be going back because of the poor customer service with the staff. I would save my time, money, efforts and self-worth and do the same.

We have decided we enjoy stopping at farm stores. They have many items we can use such as pet supplies and pet food. This was a nice big Rural King store. I enjoyed walking through the stores and they always have nice jeans and tee shirts. People were purchasing trees and pet supplies and other items today. You can refill your grill gas container at the store. All in all a great place to stop for many of your home needs. They are just now putting out garden supplies for the spring.

I found myself in the big city of Winchester for over a week and stopped in here twice. It's located in an old KMart location, across the street from Captain D's. It reminded me of Big Lots. When you first walk in, you can grab a small complimentary bag of popcorn, straight from popping machine. They even supply salt and hand sanitizer. I was really surprised to find baby goslings and chicklets. There are signs that say do not handle them for health reasons, I say YOLO and be rebellious and scoop one up and play with it when no one is watching. Remember, there is hand sanitizer at the front, by the popcorn. Dad gets his corn from there. He feeds the deer with it, it comes in huge dog food like bags for under $8. Speaking of dog food, I was also surprised to find so many name brand dog food. It's still not as cheap as what you can find on chewy.com though. I picked up a pack of socks, a 24 pack of bottled water for $1.99 and some cleaning supplies. I would definitely find myself here more often if I lived in Winchester. Is it worth the trip down from Lexington, maybe? Hit up the auction house and the Bargain Hunt while you're there too.

The things available on this store I can't find it anywhere else! To say I'm satisfied would be an understatement.

Please take some extra time to clean the bunny area! They're just walking in filth and flies as I felt so bad for them!

Both times we were there, we scored parking right out front. Literally two steps to the front door. That's convenience! I would consider this a convenient store, not a grocery store. Actually, even for a convenient store, the selection is super limited. They carry a few candies, sodas, chips, those sort of things, but the selection is slim. They have a cafe area and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are cheap. Both times, I got a salad. For $4.10, the salads hold a personal record for me, the largest salad for the cheapest price that I've ever paid. The chef salad: lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, ham and turkey. The meat was cold cuts, but they were deli meats. The kind of deli meat that they sell there by the pound. The next time, I asked for chicken salad instead of the deli meat, but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken salad. I also bought a pound of pimento cheese. It was fantastic! The only thing that I didn't like is that they don't use gloves when they prepare the food and I watched as one went straight from working the register to the preparing food.
