Kroger Beaumont is pushing knock off and store brands to increase profit. They stopped carryign Kraft cheddar and now sell kroger cheddar and 2 other off brands. Also stopped carryint Osar Mayer salami. Other kroger stores still carry both an have no plans to follow beaumont to discontinue. My wife has ben unable to get Kraft for over 6 months, and I finally insisted that she use a different Kroger. read more

**for order and pickup** okay experience for my first time ordering groceries from this Kroger. The pickup area is off the side near the pharmacy but isn't marked that well. The associate came out, confirmed my name, and placed everything in my trunk with no issues. But I noticed when I got home that my bread was squished and there were some items (like grapes) that weren't even in a grocery bag. I don't know the system they use for bagging pickup orders but be aware you might have some loose items. read more

I've always been a fan of the Kroger chain . Too bad there aren't any locations were I live. I came here on a Saturday afternoon to pick up a few items. At the entrance there were lots of shopping carts and hand sanitizer available. This particular store was really nice and clean. I couldn't figure out the layout of the store , so I walked around a lot looking for what I needed. They had some beautiful looking seafood but it was useless to me since steaming wasn't an option. However, I did locate some already steamed lemon pepper shrimp for a very reasonable price , and it was good. While browsing, I noticed they sold clothing as well. The cashier who assisted me at checkout was nice and helpful- I requested paper bags and they accommodated my request. read more

I recently participated in Kroger Credit Card promotion where you suppose to receive one year of "Boost" delivery service for a year. I activated in October and was charged $59 for Boost membership. In early November I called the credit card company and they indicated the "credit" would show up on November statement. I received the statement on line a few days ago and still no credit. I called credit card company and they gave me the Kroger rewards number. Called that number and they tried to give me 590 fuel points (which is worth less than $10. They did because that's all they could do? So they transferred to a supervisor and I was told I'd get points equal to the $59. So this morning I looked and no points anywhere? Seems very unprofessional for a Company like Kroger? Please Kroger do what you say you are going to do!!! read more

I had never been to the Beaumont Kroger. It isn't in my neighborhood and, anyway, I'm a Trader Joe's girl. I needed a few things and decided to stop by. It's a huge Kroger and, being unfamiliar with it, I had to wander the isles looking for my items. Other than what I needed, I didn't spend much time there. This store always has issues with item availability and poorly stocked shelves. Employees are unhelpful at best but I think sometimes it may not be their fault because the computer system is so pathetic. Watch out when checking out because their system will ring up items wrong on a regular basis and it's never to your advantage. You will end up paying $8 for asparagus which is supposed to ring up &2.50 and the little dude will tell you that's what it's supposed to be until he figures out you're right then he's the one annoyed with you. The only reason I shop here is because it's close to my house. Otherwise, it's a poorly run store with a lot of empty shelves, messy environment and annoyed employees. The Krogers in KY are far from being the eco-conscious or environmentally friendly business they tout being. For example, they are always stocked to the brim with regular brand toilette papers, but rarely if not never have recycled toilette paper. Same goes for their organic produce. The KY state Kroger brand is not supportive of the people's efforts towards this country's positive change because Kroger is sadly still living back in the 20th century. I suggest supporting trader joes, co-ops, fresh market, & whole foods until they catch up with everyone. read more

Worst experience with pickup at this location. Order was suppose to be ready at 2:30. Checked in at 2:30 only to wait in parking spot until 3:45 for it to finally come out. Manager Cody did not apologize when I finally asked for him at 3:15. He told me they are doing the best they can and running 1-1.5 hours late. No phone call or email letting me know this. Store manager Doug also just made excuses. The whole experience was absolutely unacceptable and I highly recommend NOT doing grocery pickup for convenience at this location. read more

I have been coming to this exact Kroger for 20 years. Today may be the last time. I haven't filled up gas here in a while but always get my groceries, so seeing these high gas prices I figured I'd have some fuel points to lessen the load on the Mastercard. Get to the pump, type in my code: Invalid rewards member. Type in my parents code: same thing. I try another pump and another to no avail. Kroger is screwing their customers out of fuel points when we need them the most and I won't stand for it. I hate to support Walmart, but I call on all my fellow lexingtonians to shop Walmart until Kroger makes a public and sincere apology!!! read more

HORRIBLE. The managers are the most rude managers we've ever had the displeasure of working with. Time and time again, the store associates make promises or make mistakes, and the managers say the complete opposite or berate the customer. They do not care about the customers here! Please, if you're looking for cake or flowers, go support a local business where I'm sure it'll be more worth your while. The bakery misspelled a word on a cake for our church, and the florist made a promise to charge a certain amount for flowers which the manager laughed in our face and charged us more. Really? I was there today @ 4:00 in the afternoon and they weren't really busy. That said, when I went to check out, they had ONE lane open. Yes, ONE LANE... and there wer 18 customers in that line, most with full carts! I went to the front desk and ask them to call a manager to get some lines open. I use this Kroger most frequently when shopping for groceries as it is closest to my home. The best part about this Kroger is the meat and seafood department. I am a seafood lover and their displays of fresh food are exceptionally well done. It is hard to pass by it without purchasing something for dinner. The staff is very well informed and always willing to go to the coolers in the back if you need something that you don't see out on display. I would give 5 stars but the check out lines in the front are not as good as the meat and seafood department is the back! I find myself to frequently having to correct a mistake at checkout. read more

The Starbucks in this store is the pits. I had to give my coffee order twice then they still got it wrong. I wasted $6.84 and will never go back to that one again. The girl that made the coffee took her hat off and her hair was loose and she had her hands in it trying to keep it out of her face. This is a FUBARed place. Improved service and FINALLY! They added a step to store your payment method so I don't have to pull out my card every time. My only complaint for the Beaumont Center store is that the area to pickup is around the side of the store and is awkward to get to, without any coverage for the employees if it's raining or snowing while they load my car. read more

This location makes grocery shopping an experience. It's very clean, inviting, and has everything you could need. They are constantly working on improvements and it shows throughout. The employees even seem to enjoy working here. I tend to spend extra time in this store just because I enjoy walking around in here. The only downside I have with the store is they don't have bulk bins to portion out/ bring your bags. read more

My husband and I just moved from Atlanta, where we had access to some of the most unique and extensive foods at a variety of "farmer's markets"( think Whole Foods variety and freshness meets bargain prices + extensive foreign ingredients [Ethiopian, Indian, Mexican, Eastern European, etc]). This is the FIRST place in Lexington where we feel we will be able to buy quality produce and meats at reasonable prices along with a variety of options and cuisines. Definitely the best chain grocery store in Lexington. Despite the size of the place, it is actually very easy to get in and get out. They generally have enough checkout lanes open, which is extremely rare anywhere, and the checkout staff in general seem to have their act together better than at most places. They must have strong leadership. The one really odd thing about this store is that the U-Scan checkouts are located on the opposite end of the store from the main entrance/exit. Why in the world would somebody buying a loaf of bread or a bunch of bananas want to walk an extra half-mile to check out? read more

Large grocery store will all the stuff you would expect and a bit more. Good sized produce section, dry goods, frozen items, meat and drug section. Lots of check-out lines, but typically only a few are open. They recently added clothing to the front of the store, which I think is a huge waste of space. I hardly ever see anyone shopping there. I guess they are competing against Walmart and Target, but I think they missed the mark. They also just re-did the produce department and now there is a huge empty space inside where the fruit is displayed. Would be nice if a produce guy was back there stocking or helping, but it is just filled with boxes and carts. Staff is pretty good. They usually have two people roving the aisles to help you find things. But the rote "did you find everything today?" bothers me because when I report something missing they acknowledge it, but don't seem to have the ability to fix it. I have a particular brand of coffee I like, but they are out 75% of the time. I usually make a trip to another store to get that. Overall, it is a large grocery store. Convenient to my home. I like this Kroger store better than most. I sometimes struggle to find items, but I have always been able to find an employee to help me- normally they lead me to the item. I've been going to this Kroger for about six months. When the store is crowded, and it does get crowded, employees are usually available to help navigate through the fastest check out line. This used to be our favorite Kroger store in Lexington, we would even go out of our way to shop at this location over the one closest to our house. Recently however we have been extremely dissatisfied with the quality of products we are receiving from this store! We bought a package of hamburger meat that was well within date, only to take it out of the fridge the next morning to find that it was green. We also bought a box of Kroger brand strawberry applesauce pouches only to find when we tried them that they were brown and slimy and tasted off, we buy them very frequently and it was clear that they had gone bad! Most recently on October 14th I ran in quickly and purchased some Kroger brand yogurt only to get home and realize that two of them had expired on October 4th and October 11th respectively. The redeeming quality in this is that the employees are very understanding and easy to work with when it comes to returns and exchanges so when you do come home with a bad product you generally don't have to take a loss on it. read more
