Even though we live very close to the Kroger's on Euclid I find myself going to the Kroger's on Richmond Road. I absolutely love this store. I found a glass shaped pumpkin jar on clearance for 1.30 it was originally 13.99. That was definitely a steal! Right after thanksgiving they had their glass Pyrex storage containers on sale but one get one which of course I did. I also found Murray's Brie cheese on clearance for 4.45 it was 8ozs. There are so many things at this store I don't see at the one on Euclid. Plus I don't have to deal with the hungry crazed students shopping. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I use u-scan so I never really have a long wait in line if any. Thursdays at all Kroger's they have rotisserie chickens for 5.00. The store itself seems to always be clean and well stocked. Of course I still have a harder time navigating the store because I'm so used to the one on Euclid. But it's definitely worth the trip. Don't forget to checkout their clearance section I got Starbucks coffee for 2.01. read more

Inventory control has not been very reliable lately. Lactaid 2% calcium enriched milk seems to be pretty consistently in short supply. When that and other items are in short supply, they are listed as delivery only . The Kroger on Richmond Rd. uses Instacart for deliveries and that service is not reliable at all. read more

Always long lines. Staff is pretty nice. Cigarette prices are way to high. Good selection of household items. But the clothes the are so marked up. Ridiculous but part of it. read more

Wow, what a disappointment come from Florida Publix country. As I entered the store looking for a hand carry basket (you had none anywhere, ) that saves $$ by reducing retrieval of carts in icy parking lot... went to drug area looking for sugar-free cough drops, none...no empty boxes where they should be...looks like u don't stock them, really with over 23 million in America? No problem, got on Amazon... no milk, no bananas, shocking, yes u had a last min run on store, We always have that before any storm, holiday, cold front.....duh, a minimal amount of planning....I guess Publix just excells my way. If you've never had the misfortune of having to shop at this Kroger location, count yourself lucky. I really don't want to sound like a Karen; but this Kroger is such a mess, and the higher ups won't do anything about it unless they know that customers are unhappy. First, the staff tends to be extremely rude. Trying to ask where something is after the store's been rearranged for the millionth time? They'll make you feel as if you just insulted their whole family for daring to take a second of their precious, precious time. I can understand being busy, but glaring and rolling your eyes at me is not necessary. And they won't know where the item is either. The Pick-Up order system, while great for its users, has also worsened the experience for in-store shoppers. The large carts of pick-up personnel are a noisy, cumbersome obstacle (often blocking off entire aisles), and be prepared to be shooed out of the way multiple times in a row while shopping. The most noticeable and notable thing about Richmond Road Kroger, however, is the mess. This store is always being rearranged, not a day goes by without multiple spills (that will be left there for ages), and unwanted items will often be left on the wrong shelf to the point where perishable items (like meat, dairy, seafood, etc) will go bad and start to smell. If you're looking for a clean, well-maintained store; keep looking. This one isn't it. read more

Went this morning to see how the market scene was during this Coronavirus lockdown and apparently, I was able to get some toilet paper (not that I really needed it). Funny thing was, there was a guy standing there to make sure people were taking two packs (however many were in a pack). I actually wanted to ask how much each pack was because some of them did not have price tickets on them. IKR? People are in dire need of toilet paper and they care about getting some; however, I want to get the BEST PRICE for what I buy. LOL I ended up getting two four packs for like $5 and some change. I miss that the Dollar Tree does not have any. I feel like I was getting the best deal there. 250 2 ply sheets for $1! read more

This is by far one of my favorite grocery chains and I love how progressive they are with the times and consumer needs. They listen to the feedback of their customers and are always developing new things to meet everyone's needs. This particular visit I used Clicklist, which I loved when I had received my kidney transplant and am still using even after recovery. I've always been really happy with my experiences. I do have a minor issue with the app process but I've sent that to them on their survey. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and doesn't seem unhappy to be working. I just love my neighborhood Kroger and even have started getting my prescriptions sent there for my one-stop shopping. They offer great deals and digital coupons, as well as store coupons sentbto my house for products I use a lot! This helps lower (even more) my already low ticket price. I love everything that this store offers. We just moved here in August from an area that did not have a marketplace, and it's such a relief to have so many options in one place close to home. read more

Because they can't get their own Kroger coupons to "take" on their little iPads, and claim manufacturer coupons are wrong. *1st excuse: a Meijers coupon ( Luzianne Iced Tea ), then said coupon was torn, ( it wasn't). It was an embossed in number on the cardboard coupon done by the manufacturer. Seriously?? Grrrr *2nd excuse: I bought something called Cinnamon Toast Crunch ( which I did NOT) Kroger Frosted Flakes 3rd excuse: we just don't know why it's not taking the Starburst coupon. I can park my car and go into the store, wait in line at customer service, then have them review all my groceries to give me the coupon value off. Uhmmmm. NO. I told them that I did this for a convenience and this is complete bullshit. Thanks anyway. I'm a nice person, but seriously!!!! I just got a chance to try the online click pick thingy. It was quicker overall and it fairly easy to use. Everything I had planned on buying in the store was available online including diet Ale-8. (This is awesome!) My favorite part was being able to grocery shop online while in bed and being able to pick up the items the next day or in a couple days. My only problem was I couldn't pay online and it does take 10-15 minute to get the order and bring it out. It was still quicker than going in and running through the store. AND ordering online prevented me from impulse buying clearance valentine's candy and pie. This is a big store with a Starbucks inside. The deli, cheese case and the bakery are some of the best of all the krogers in town. It can be hard to find things if you are not use to the layout. The produce selection is pretty good, but I still go to another grocery store for most of my produce. When I have time (lots of time), I love browsing each isle for good deals. But I love being able to order online and not having to go inside. read more

The store was packed and they had one whole self-checkout lane closed with lines at the open checkouts stretching back into the grocery aisles. Who does that to their customers? This store. This is for the Kroger Floral Department. Recently shopped here for the corsage for my son's prom. I'm in and out of this store all the time and I love their floral department. Gorgeous arrangements, beautiful plants and an excellent selection of succulents. My son is even more picky than I am, so I had him find a picture of the corsage he wanted to get his date. I took the picture to Kroger a week ahead of time and talked to the florist, telling him my son would like a corsage as close as possible to the one in the picture. He even had me text the picture to him. After some comments about didn't I know that was Mother's Day weekend, and a mini- disagreement over whether or not Royal Blue and Kentucky Blue are the same, he let me pick out the two primary ribbons, blue and silver. Picked the corsage up today, and as you can see, it doesn't really look like what I ordered. The pic on the left is the example and the pic on the right was what I got. It was much smaller than expected, and didn't have any of the seed pearls that are shown in the example. All the stuff was cramped together so much so that the top rose was oval-shaped. Even worse, the top rose was already showing some brown spots and some of the Baby's breath was falling off. There was no time to ask to have it re-made, and my son was ok with it, but I was sorely disappointed. I still think they have beautiful arrangements, I just didn't happen to get one this time around. read more

Unfortunately was a victim to a hit and run in the Kroger parking lot. After a police officer came out and filed a report, we've been waiting for Kroger management to surrender parking lot video surveillance footage for weeks now. Kroger management has been non compliant to assist the police in my hit and run case. After trying to get in contact with management, I've been given the "run around" multiple times. The police cannot help me if Kroger management does not help them. Very surprised at the noncompliance with my case and and have had no success in directly contacting management. read more

I'm rating their sushi bar. It's every bit as good as any sushi bar around. I very frequently will get what I want and run home to enjoy a very satisfying dinner. The only thing missing is the Japanese ambience, but so what. My daughters and I have threatened to come into this Kroger with our lawn chairs and tv trays and sit right there at the sushi counter and eat and drink tea will we get our fill. Then just take all the bar codes to the front and pay on our way out. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper than going to any Japanese restaurant. Tonight I called to see if they had the product I wanted before I went. They did so I went right over. I was unable to find it so I called and asked for help. They told me it was around an area. I asked them to come show me please. The person who can over smelled bad with B.O. So then I went to the self checkout. The person who helped me there also had majorly bad B.O. as well. All in all I got what I wanted but not without having to be seen in asking for help from the employees and having to deal with two bad smelling employees. The Richmond road store is replacing cashiers with u scans. They are losing the personal touch and replacing it with robots. I guess it is all about the bottom line. Less workers equals more profit. It seems as if I come here almost on a daily; usually to pick up fresh produce. This is more than just say grocery store to me. It's more as an extended family from whom I purchased food and supplies for my own. I have always found the customer service here to be superb. I even know some of the cashers on a first name basis! There are so many nice things to say about this place, however, if I did have one complaint it would be that they produce can be a little lacking at times; especially the Kale. There are times when it's very fresh and there is a nice chunk of it. Other times the Kale is wilty and very small. read more

We decided to go to this location early as it usually crowded on Sunday afternoon. The store itself was very cluttered and disorganized, with multiple, full stocking carts blocking the isles while many of the stockers were standing or walking around without purpose. This created a very poor experience, along with the fact they do not have enough cart personnel to keep up with the demand. The one bright spot was the check out clerks, were fast and friendly and moved with purpose and speed. read more

This is the Kroger closest to my home. The main problem i have had several times is they dont seem to care about handicap customers. I have went in many times and no scooters are to be found inside the store, they are sitting in the parking lot and most have batteries ran down. More than once a scooter has ran out of battery power in the middle of me shopping. I was walking with a cane for several months and had to leave one day because no scooters were available. I was in there lastnight and non in store and a worker named Dan refused to go out to parking lot and get me one. One of the female baggers had to help me. Its really sad. read more

The store is clean, well-stocked and an all-around great shopping experience. The store can get very crowded but they usually have a lot of check-out lanes open. This really is MY Kroger. I shop at all the other chains but I will pay a little more to shop here. I have been shopping at this location for over 10 years it has grown and changed some thing are better some things not so much, that is life. The employees are friendly and the management has a clue. Disappointed several employees stocking shelves in several depts, not wearing full faced mask. One had no mask. 2 barely had mouth covered. Noses hanging out breathing on items. It happens every single visit. I've mentioned this to 3 different managers there. Just said can't keep eye on employees. It's sad employees have no respect for employers or the public. Got to try the new scan and shop thing today! I was super excited to try as I have read about it. I'm glad that it's Available at this Kroger. You basically have a hand held device and you scan your items as you shop. When you are finished, you can go to the U-scan area and pay! It's convenient when you bring your own reusable bags to shop (which I did). This Mega store Kroger can be intimidating because it's so big, but I'm a number one Kroger fan so I like it. They have wide array of produce and some are even exotic ( the fruits). The deli section is huge with many items you can grab and go to eat for lunch or dinner. This place is very busy...always, but I still come to this location every now and then when I am looking for items that I wouldn't normally find at my other Kroger stores. read more

After 40 years as a loyal Kroger patron my check was refused today because I did not have a drivers license. I did have a passport. It includes a photo ID as well as my local address. My purse was stolen three days ago along with my drivers license and credit cards so a check and passport was all I had to work with. However Chase Bank gave me cash with only my passport as an ID. read more

Delivery from Kroger is horrible and I think it hurts their brand. Have problems with a delivery? Krogers says its Instacart, and I should contact them. Funny, but the page where I ordered has krogers name on it, not Instacart. There is never a receipt, the order is always incomplete and I never check the box that gives them permission to deliver the groceries when no one is home. However, they always stack the groceries in front of my door so I cant open the door and they run without ringing the bell. Local dogs tear through my groceries and there is not a mechanism to complain. Instacart says they are only the back-end application and I have to call Krogers. Ok Krogers, you've lost a loyal customer of 30 years and I bet I'm not the only one. read more

I am all for supporting small business and have shopped Kroger all my life, but the Richmond Rd. has gone down hill. Always poor customer service now. There is an online coupon for $10 of a $50 pickup purchase. All my coupons came off except this one. I was told I would have to log in to my account and show them the coupon on my card! Of course my password was at home, I don't do things on my phone. They were very rude, accused me of lying, talked down to me, and refused to help me. I tried calling the store and the number on the receipt is out of order and the number online is constantly busy. Of course the coupon ends today. If I am going to be treated poorly and pay higher prices I will shop closer to home. Not worth it anymore. read more

Store has really gone downhill last 4 months. This morning it took 45 mins to check out. Express lane refused to let us check out cause we had 22 itmes while only other two lanes had back of of 4 carts each. Noticed how employees getting much ruder also. The large carts gathering items for preorders block entire isles. When you say something was told to go around even though they're just yacking with other employees. Love this store, the location is convenient for me also. Top notch Kroger. My only complaint is that fellow shoppers seem to be more aggressive with their shopping carts. I can't tell you how many times someone has nearly ran me over. It's the whole store every time I go, not just a few people. Much worse than Walmart, which I found strange. It's even worse if you go in without a shopping cart yourself. This isn't really something the company can change though. :( read more

I pass this Kroger on the way home from work, so it tends to be where I grocery shop most often. I can almost always find what I need, the salad bar is always stocked (and never a mess), there's a large variety of specialty cheeses, it's well organized. It never takes long to check out. There are multiple u-scan lanes that rarely have a line, but there's always checkout lanes available too (if you prefer human interaction). My only complaints are: 1) there used to be a large healthfood section next to the produce, where I could quickly grab organic milk, nuts, Zevia sodas, cereal, almond flour, dark chocolate chips, etc. It was incredibly convenient. Now, that section is devoted to dishes & small appliances. It's bizarre. I never see anyone in that section, because honestly, who thinks to look for dishes next to the produce section? And now I have go through the entire store to search for those groceries that used to be so easy to find. It's next to impossible to find a six pack of Zevia cherry cola when there are several aisles of soda & it's shoved on a bottom shelf somewhere, for example. What used to be a 10 minute trip to the store now takes 3 times as long. 2) There's no liquor store. read more

I tried the new Clicklist yesterday, and all i have to say is WOW! It's free the first 3 times you try it, the online shopping is SUPER easy, and the process of showing up and getting your items is the easiest thing! Jerry helped me when i got to the store and pulled into the designated spot, explained how everything worked when he got out to my vehicle (under the nice shaded canopy), and then loaded my groceries while we had a nice conversation...and i NEVER got out of my car! I found my way of shopping after a LONG day at work! be sure to order a day before you need everything... they need a day to gather your items. read more
