I was very impressed at the produce section and how fresh everything was. The leafy greens were crisp and not wilted, tomatoes weren't bruised, and the list goes on. The prices were very comparable to competitors but the quality exceeded said rivals. They also had a few Korean items that I picked up in shock. It's a very nice size store. I really enjoyed shopping the selection of groceries. We used self checkout so can't attest to any experiences with employees as we had no questions or needs but I will continue to shop there whenever I am in the area. Additionally we did pick up some Kroger branded items and found them to be in some cases more delicious than the national brand (such as with the frozen garlic cheesy bread).

SHEETZ - Weirton, WV "A Convenience Store Pilgrimage Worth…read morethe Hype" I've always had a soft spot for gas station convenience stores -- blame it on my high school days when the Speedway next to campus basically became my second home. Rewards program? Downloaded. App? Always ready. Snack runs? Constant. So going back to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving and finally experiencing my first-ever Sheetz felt like a true full-circle convenience store moment. We stopped at the Weirton location, and let me tell you... Wawa could never (and I say that as a Florida resident who actually likes Wawa). Sheetz just hits different. The convenience options are better, the food feels like it's made with care, and the drink game? Superior in every category. Ordering was ridiculously easy -- the touchscreen order terminals are right up front, clearly marked, and practically inviting you to start building your masterpiece. We went classic comfort for our inaugural Sheetz meal: chicken tender wraps and a s'mores iced latte. Everything was freshly made, came out fast, and tasted shockingly good for a gas station. Sheetz really leans into that "fast-casual but make it convenient" vibe, and they nail it. The system is simple: order on the screen, grab your receipt, wait for your number to be called then pay. Smooth, efficient, and zero confusion. Plus, the store itself is clean, organized, and fully stocked. Honestly, I think I counted more snack and drink options here than in some actual grocery stores. And the gas prices? Lower than pretty much anything we saw on the Ohio-West Virginia drive. Now -- let me confess my one heartbreak. And if you know me, you know this cut deep. After ordering and paying, I went ahead and created a Sheetz account... and of course, I didn't earn any rewards for the visit. No upload-a-receipt option either. A tragedy for someone who lives and breathes loyalty programs. I'm still recovering emotionally. But even without the rewards, I'm officially a fan. In fact, we liked it so much we stopped again on the way home. When a gas station convenience store makes it onto your road trip itinerary twice, that's when you know it's elite. Bottom line: Sheetz lives up to the hype. Great food, even better drinks, fast service, tons of options, friendly employees, clean bathrooms, and the kind of experience that makes you wish they'd expand down to Florida. Until then, I'll just be jealous of everyone up north. Order up -- Sheetz has earned their five stars.

I thought you were the merchant since you're the one selling me the gas?!? And shouldn't your mom be there if she's the only one who can handle a customer service complaint?!? If you like getting robbed as legally as possible and then brushed off like it was nothing this is most definitely the place to go, otherwise Mr. Fuel is right down the road along 7 and will only take the money you ACTUALLY spend at their establishment. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE Edit: Been 3 days now and I'm out of gas. My bank says the merchant has it on hold for 5 days, not sure how I'm getting to work because I'm now out of gas and my account is -$75 with the $250 being taken out and not replaced by Buch's truck stop. I've heard of a $75-$100 hold, but really?? $250 pending AFTER you took out your $48 and got paid??. If you don't have my money, I don't have it, and my bank doesn't have it, then where is it? I didn't have this issue BEFORE going to Buch's Truck Stop, so I'll let you decide who's at fault here. All I wanted was gas

i wouldn't really call this a truck stop, it's more of a diner with truck parking. they do have…read moresome pumps, but i wouldn't trust those. the whole place has an 80's horror movie vybe. probably one of the worst truck stops I've stopped at. they close at night & have an outhouse for after hours potty use. there isn't really any typical convenience store items available inside, there's no shelves or anything. like i said, its kind of just a little diner with 4 or so tables. the smallest building i have ever seen open to the public. the bathroom is just a single room, so if you have to poop there's going to be a line of angry locals waiting outside/beating on the door. also the bathroom seems to be directly connected to the kitchen somehow. it's not really a comfortable situation to be in. it's really just a dilapidated shack that people live in above the building. if you are looking for a diner that you can park at, maybe try. if you are looking for a truck stop to do a reset, id look elsewhere. they are probably in violation of several health codes, so idk if i'd eat the food.

We had previously bought an item from their store, which from a lot of searching, was the only place who had that particular brand and model of it. Since me & my husband are disabled & cant drive 11 miles into town to stop at M&M Hardware to see if they still have the item, we found that M&M has a online site where we can search through their items & purchase them. We ended up not being able to find the item we searched for but like with many other sites that this happens on, we figured it was just a matter of us not using the right keywords for it to come up in the search results. So my husband called their store & a man answered, my husband told him the problem, & the store worker said he knows nothing about their online site. We were shocked that employees wouldn't even know anything about their own website where customers are obviously going to be visiting & would be having at least GENERAL questions that employees should be able to give direct answers. Regardless, the store worker told my husband that he "just needs to come in to the store & can look for the item that way" My husband politely informed of him being paraplegic & unable to navigate his wheelchair into town, & also wouldn't be sensible to drive all the way in to the store just to see if they have an item when a store worker could see if its listed on their own website where we could then view it ourselves & consider purchasing it. Immediately after finishing saying that, the store worker said "cant help you" & then we heard a beep sound whereby shortly afterwards that was followed by the sound of the call having been hung up on us. We tried calling back 3 times until finally someone picked up the phone. It was a lady who we told her of the situation that we just experienced & although she was very polite, she downplayed the instance & then proceeded to tell us that she also didn't know anything about their own website & she would have someone else call us back. Well that issue was never resolved however we did find a few items on their site, placed 3 separate orders, and then had nothing but hassle with the orders. Was able to get a family member to pick up the orders for us. The 1st order was picked up but then we kept receiving notifications for a few days that we need to pick up that order. The 2nd order was picked up and tried to pick up the 3rd order however after our family member got there he was told they have no record of the order. They were even informed of the order showing right on our account at their website and we also have the email confirming the order. We're tired of the hassles, and after we purchase the last couple items that we have to get there because we cant find it anywhere else, we likely wont be buying anything else there
