The entry fee gets you access to everything mentioned. There were 3 food trucks in front, and also their main building consists of fresh picked vegetables (a big assortment of peppers ranging from mild to hot) and other handmade local goods. Prices are very reasonable as well. If you don't want to pick your own pumpkin, there are also ones that you can just choose and purchase in front of their main building, along with cornstalks. Let me tell you, this hayride is by far the best I've been on. From the cleanliness of the farm and the hayride, to the organization and friendliness of the employees. They close at 5pm on Saturdays, and advertise that their last hayride is at 4pm, but they went until almost closing due to there still being people who wanted to ride. There were 2 tractors that took patrons to and from the pumpkin area. The ride to the area was about 5 or so minutes, and coming back was about 10 minutes. While riding, you get views of the whole farm, a view of a pond and also ride through their orchards. The tractors and seating area were clean and in good shape. The pumpkin patch had a lot to choose from and different shapes, sizes and colors. Many were still on the vine. The price for the pumpkins is $0.42 per pound. I got one huge pumpkin, and 4 small ones for $12. Not bad at all! This farm has yearly events, and I can't wait to return. Definitely recommended!

We were able to pick a generously sized bag of apples and I am excited to try some recipes with them. Also, if it is a sunny day there is not much shade anywhere, so be prepared for that. The owner of Arrowhead also has a plumbing business and he has done great work at my home, so I wouldn't expect his orchard to be anything less than spectacular too. It included picking a bouquet of flowers, a vase, two glasses of wine and a cheese box. When you arrived everyone was very friendly and check-in was easy. A friend asked me if I would like to go out to get some berries. We got there after berry picking time for the day, which closed around 2 PM, but there was still plenty of time to buy berries in their market, freshly picked by their workers, and enjoy other fun things at the farm! We fed the goats, who were the sweetest, tamest goats I have ever met. (Frankly, they completely changed my opinion about goats, with which I have had some unpleasant memories in the past.) You can pay a quarter for some food and feed it to them by hand, and not a single one took it from me anything less than gently. There is also a super cute feature where you can send some food up to goats standing at the top of the pen via a pulley system. There were several baby goats here when we visited and they were ridiculously adorable. From there it was a stop at the café window where we ordered strawberry lemonade slushies that were an absolute delight. It was late in the day and they were out of several of the food offerings; I was told by my friend that the hot pretzel is fantastic, but didn't get to find out. So I went with some freshly made donuts, and it was only a few dollars for half a dozen blueberry donuts. They are wonderful eaten fresh just like this, but when you take them home you can heat them up for 10 seconds to get that just-out-of-the-oven taste. Finally we stopped in the shop which is full of all kinds of home, pantry and fresh food items. I came home with a pint of raspberries, a big bunch of strawberries (last of the season!), jars of pickled beets and bread and butter pickles, and a block of baby Swiss cheese. Everything has been absolutely fantastic and it would be easy to go absolutely wild in this store. Lots of events here during different seasons, especially apple and pumpkin season in fall which is their busiest time. After that they close for the year at Halloween. Makenna did an excellent job. She gave us such good information and was very informative. She had several actual native plants --flowers, bushes, and trees -- to demonstrate alternatives to non-native ones and then took us to the native section of the greenhouse to show us their selection. And, the greenhouse itself? Such an array of healthy plants, annuals and perennials, and houseplants, too. The prices were reasonable. For example, a huge hanging spider plant that was flowering was 27.95. A gallon size butterflyweed was just under 17.00. They also have a mobile app a salesperson encouraged us to download. That way we saved money and got a free 4 inch potted herb. All the staff were helpful and we enjoyed our visit.

Set on two levels they currently have Christmas merchandise reduced by 30% They sell different types of giftware including tea towels with clever sayings on them. Beautiful scented candles in small milk jars, artwork, elixir bottles, baby gifts and so much more. They even have an area where you can get a box called "gather" in different sizes. You can then put what you want in it and they will handle the shipping for you or you can take care of it yourself. Depending upon what you buy items can be a bit pricey. I was blown away by a Pittsburgh painted water bottle. Although it was a slightly higher than what I would pay the detail on it is amazing and it does keep beverages cold for a while once outside the refrigerator. With that i purchased a holiday candle and ornament that was reduced. This is a great store if you're looking for something different or can't get to any place else to shop for local merchandise.
