The items they sell, and the store, are alright here locally. In fact I'd go so far as to say the…read morestore is pretty great overall. But do not buy any major appliances if you expect them to install the item. Sure they offer free delivery, they claim, but they send out contractors to do the install. The contractors find a reason they cannot install the item and then when you start to ask about that policy then they simply leave and say they feel threatened. We have had them come out four times now and the first time it was a plumbing issue, which was a legitimate issue. They did provide a plumber, included in the cost of the item, to fix that issue, which was a soldered connection, when a screw in connection to the pipe fixture was required. The plumber told us that we were "good to go". The second contractor from Home Depot came out and said that he could not install it because the item was not on its own breaker. I told him I selected the wrong breaker (they are staggered on my panel) and then selected the correct breaker. However, the contractor stated he didn't feel comfortable installing the dishwasher as I "needed an electrician". When I started to explain that I selected the wrong breaker he told me he felt "threatened" by my aggressive nature and promptly left. A call to Home Depot and they apologized, said the contractors were inexperienced and they'd send a new team out. A week later, it has now been almost three weeks since we bought the dishwasher, a couple of Latino men came to the house and immediately told us they could not install the dishwasher because of the "Lazy Susan rule". He also said that the dishwasher was not beside the sink. When I began to question what policy he was referring to, he told me that he would not work under threats (???) and him and his co-worker promptly vacated our house. A call to Home Depot resulted in another apology due to their contractor simply "being young and not knowing policy" and another reschedule. While talking to corporate about their policy of sending out contractors rather than Home Depot employees we were hung up on, yet again. Plan to spend hours on hold, be hung up on, transferred and just, in general, a lot of free time trying to convince Home Depot to please install what you bought. At this point I never plan to buy another appliance through Home Depot again. I have pursued a complaint with the BBB, the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Home Depot corporate. Feel free to shop at the store, it's great, but do not buy your appliance here unless you can install it yourself, or are willing to pay a private contractor to install it. If you do take a chance on installation then I strongly suggest you record the entire visit on a home camera or your cell phone. Proof is in the audio, these most recent contractors were in our house less than five minutes before leaving, claiming they felt "threatened": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ85RJn5m04&t=12s EDIT: Today, 6/7/23 Home Depot sent out a couple of experienced Home Depot installers. Not contractors but actual employees. I am happy to say that they were professional, friendly and knew what they were doing. They explained some of the issues raised in the previous attempts and had the entire dishwasher installed and up and running in about 25 minutes. Home Depot called us shortly after and confirmed it was installed. They apologized and offered us a significant amount of credit for all of our hassle. We are happy with the end result, and hopeful that Home Depot understands the damage being brought to their brand name because of contractors. I sincerely hope that the contractors who came to our home are removed from employment with Home Depot. Either way, our next purchase will be done at the store and with a clear understanding that only Home Depot employees are welcome to come install our appliance, no more contractors. Thanks to Home Depot though for making it right finally.. I gave them 4 stars because there is always room for improvement that hopefully can mean next install moves them to 5 stars.

Wow, just wow. Customer service and friendliness is great here. I took my friend Colleen to the…read morekids clinic today. I wasn't sure, if she would like it. She is autistic and deaf, but loves people. The staff was very accommodating and she loved it!
