The eight of us walk through the door and the gal behind the counter immediately came out onto the floor, greeted us with a smile and sunny salutation and began putting tables together for us. We ordered and then sat down. Now the inside is small like the parking lot-sit somewhere or eat somewhere else-you won't be sorry. The chica with the sunny smile brought out our food-everything smelled so good. Breakfast burrito with chorizo was delicious. The same burrito with steak-yes that is one of the choices, outstanding. Two of our younger members had taquitos-they were good too! No one was sorry! Not even close...We were all grateful and extremely happy with a "new" place (that has been there...)that we found. La Poblana is on most of our regular routes and I plan on stopping there for some really good food soon. Try it-you won't be sorry! You will be happy!!!

The breakfast burrito is incredible--it's easily enough for two people, especially if you order it bacon-wrapped. It might take you a while to decide on a favorite, as everything on the menu is delicious!

While bad ass did have tasty tacos, the service was not so great. When I walked in, I was treated as if why are you here and what do you want? I even spoke in Spanish because I am bilingual. The salad wasn't bad but the bowl it comes in is really small, which makes it really hard to eat. I ordered a side of chips and habanero salsa and was really disappointed with the chips as they stated that they are homemade, but they were very flavorless and not good. It came with a tiny little thing of habanero salsa so I had to go ask for additional salsa, which apparently is not free so they gave me a little tiny cups that would come with a taco. All in all pretty disappointing.

We've all heard the saying…read more... Mi Casa es Su Casa. But today, and Today only.... Mi Casa es The Sea Casa! Yeah, this small, one-off Mexican spot has been a Westlake Village staple for 33 years! Yep, since 1993 (probably older than some of you even reading this), Sea Casa has been serving up their take on healthier, Mexican/Latin-American food which is a great alternative to the higher-end bougie spots you will find in WLV. Basics like tacos, burritos, flautas, quesadillas and even fajitas, the Sea Casa knows how to throw down a fiesta, that will definitely make you want to take a siesta! Sure, this place has got the chicken. And of course you know they've got the Beef. But the name of the place isn't... The Pollo Casa, nor is it The Carne Casa... It's The Sea Casa, so you know they're bringing the Sea! Yeah, they've got grilled shrimp, grilled fish and you know I'm all about that fried tempura fish. So whether you want it in a Baja taco, a burrito, a bowl or even in a salad, the Sea Casa is now Su Casa, so please don't be shy. But you know what best part is in my humble opinion??.... The Bar!! The. Salsa. Bar. And you better believe it's self serve, so get ready to load up those little 2oz plastic cups just like I did! And to wash it all down... A fountain soda, a Mexican coke, a Jarritos, a beer of even a little vino will make your meal complete! So, what time me meeting for dinner??

This was the first time I have been here since I was in high school, and boy has the place changed! The location offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the salsa bar offers a great variety of salsas. Customer service was friendly. Staff will bring out the food to you if you choose to eat at the location. There was no line when I came. As the location is in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking even if you go on the weekends. The prices are quite high, but that is no surprise given the area. I got a cabo salad which came with chips. My meal did not stand out, but the shrimp was delicious.

As of February 2026, the exterior is currently under construction, which makes this spot feel extra unassuming but don't be fooled. They are open! This is the type of spot where you order at the counter and they'll give you a number to be seated. If you are dining in they will bring the plate to your table which is nice. The staff were incredibly kind and I even got to brush up on my Spanish :) Pro tip: CASH ONLY. The menu is HUGE. I already know I'll be back for lunch because the tacos and micheladas looked very tempting. I came in for breakfast though, so that was my focus on this visit. I ordered the rojo chilaquiles, no meat, with an over-medium egg and this dish was a 10/10. The red sauce (almost orange) was packed with flavor without being spicy (a kindness I appreciated at 10am), and the tortilla chips somehow stayed perfectly crunchy. Texturally? A dream. This was one of the best chilaquiles dishes I've had in a very long time, especially in the 805 so I'll definitely be back for these again soon. Portions were perfect and while the dish was simple, it was well executed. I washed it all down with a refreshing jamaica agua fresca. Last note: don't skip the dessert counter. I left with a flan cake, and next time I'm trying their chocoflan hybrid (highly recommended by the staff). This spot is a great local establishment and I really hope more people check them out.
