Went to Rumba Cuban Cafe and it's hands down the best Cuban food I've had in Naples. No question. It's not my Cuban kitchen, but it's the closest thing I've found out here. By far, the best Cuban food I have tried! Rumba Cuban Cafe has amazing reviews on Yelp and Google with good reason! As soon as you enter, staff are quick to take care of you and make you feel at home. Our server Rosi made sure we were well taken care of and treated us like family. We started with their Mojito which was beyond fresh tasting and well balanced in flavor. They had cups prepared on the bar counter as it must be a staple item for them. We also ordered the Cuban Sandwich (full order) and a side of Sweet Plantains. The food was made fresh to order and you could tell from the taste. The Cuban is the best I've experienced with fresh bread, quality meat, and good portions of sauce/cheese. The portion as well was a great size or enjoy when hungry or share. The Sweet Plantains came with about 5-6 pieces. Most guests were also ordering a cuban coffee to enjoy. Overall, this was a great lunch spot! We travelled through Florida and drove past this place by chance. Rating a restaurant to me has three parts: 1) The quality of the food of course 2). The quality of your experience, basically the team's service 3). Atmosphere -The food was beyond our expectation, just On Point! -The team, seemed to be in love with helping you enjoy their passion for this wonderful cuisine. - The Atmosphere, was very nice, and elevated excessively by the food and the staff. We are Christmas "snowbirds" from Cleveland and always look forward to our food from Rumba. We have two children who absolutely adore their lechon asado, and black beans. I as well think their lechon asado is outstanding and this time I ordered the masitas de puerco which was very good, but I just prefer the lechon a little bit more. My wife always order a Cuban sandwich and those are some of the best ones we have had. The Cuba cafe is quite good and the mojitos are some of the best we've had. We made a point of stopping here for lunch after exploring an art show in Naples. We had been to this restaurant a couple years ago and had fond memories of both the owner and the food. You know how it is when your memory sets a high-performance bar and then reality falls short of that standard? Not in this case. Reality was even better than our memory. We were greeted at the door and quickly seated. I ordered a Cuban coffee and breakfast sandwich. My wife ordered pork tostones. The food was plentiful and amazing. One of my go to places whenever I visit family down in Naples. My all time favorite cuban on the gulf coast, Rumba is incredible. Their cubano sandwich is one of the best I've ever had, and their tostones are equally as good. On this most recent trip, my wife, kids and I ordered a full cuban/rice and beans, tostones campestre (with chicken) and plantain chips (because my 2 year olds are extremely picky eaters). In years past, I've tried the media noche, rope vieja and maduros, and they're all excellent. Also, their cuban style coffee is TO DIE FOR. The staff is super attentive, and are always around to help whenever needed - outstanding overall. As for the restaurant itself, it's very small, with only 10-15 tables but that should NOT steer you away! It's a gem for sure and a must visit when in the Naples area. read more

Another phenomenal experience at Rumba. We went in to get an appetizer and ended up getting three. We ordered the tamale which was incredibly flavorful and moist. 10/10! We got the tostones campestres with all three meats (chicken, pork and beef). Perfection!!!! The ham croquettes were equally delicious! Visiting relatives they told me we could get Cuban food. I was all in! This place is tucked in a strip mall and is only open for lunch. We decided to sit outside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with a side of yellow rice and beans. The griddled sandwich arrived. Deliciousness ensued. Tender pulled pork, ham, Swiss, pickles and mustard all combined to make the fabulous flavors happen. The yellow rice and black beans were well seasoned and a great accompaniment to the sandwich. Uh mazing! This place is a diamond in the rough. It looks like a basic hole in the wall but is a magical happy place. You are greeted by fun Cuban music when you enter. It's family run and you can tell they love what they do and their customers. It was incredible to watch how they interact with their customers. It was like a family gathering.
