So... When I say I could not find anything wrong with this place, I mean it. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated incredibly well. The staff was working well together and everyone in the restaurant looked to be attentively taken care of. Our server, Alex, was exceptional throughout the entire experience. He described the menu in not too little but not too much detail. We ordered mocktails, ceviche, and 2 entrees. Every single item was impressive and delicious. The poblano pasta and the rice seriously have my heart. The seating was a little close - but I would never dock point for that. They have a decently small space and are utilizing it incredibly well. And I was just in awe at how clean everything was. The attention to detail from the staff and owners goes a long way and my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Made a night of our vacation feel very special. We'll be returning next time we're in town.

We went over and he asked me to sit in service bar area to maximize chairs. There were only 2 others at bar and bar sat about 10. The bartender said it was fine and preceded to give us great service made good recommendations and was polite. We started with the elote fritters. Full of corn and light and crispy. My bf had a trio of ceviche's and they added shrimp upon request. I had avocado marg and it was tasty. I did the lomo salteado for entree and bf did the short rib. Mine was def better flavor. But both were good. They brought us a small Carmel when they brought the check. Nice touch. All in all my bill was 165 without tip. With it was 200 not sure that matched what we got but it was goood and I would go back.

With its cobblestone streets, white church, colorful buildings, plaza and breathtaking view on the Nutibara Hill, it becomes a popular tourist attraction in Medellin! Pueblito Paisa was built in 70's to replicate a typical Antioquian Village to showcase their lifestyle and heritage! Mi Pueblito Paisa started as food truck at 4509 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres serving Columbian cuisine. In late 2023, they moved to FGCU's University Village. It is situated next to Tacos and Tequila Cantina. It has six inside tables and more than dozen outside tables. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday! We walked in for early dinner on Saturday. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and answered many questions we had. This location was a take-out restaurant with heavy deep-fried items. The ambiance was simple other than the huge Mi Pueblito Paisa sign with customs and hats. If you go to www. mipueblitopasia.com, or Facebook or Instagram, it still refers to the Lehigh Acres food truck location and menu. The new menu using QR code on the table was not working in my iPhone. The new menu at the University Village is greatly expanded. Their web site or social media is work in progress! I have images of some of popular Columbian dishes from home and with the help of our server, we ordered a Salchipapas, and Cazuela de Marisco with a nice Mora fruit drink! The Salchipapas, one of popular fast-food dish commonly served as street food. The Pueblito Paisa version has crunchy French Fries topped with sausage, pork belly, white cheese in condiments. The sausage and pork belly added the savory taste to the fries! The portion was huge and we took half portion home! Th Cazuela de Marisco was a seafood stew that is served with Avocado/tomato salad, coconut rice and fried plantains or tostones. This seafood stew was served with small shrimps, clams, scallops, and calamari but packed in flavor! The avocado/tomato salad with a little onion added a refreshing taste to the stew. Wife loves that coconut rice but she is not a fried plantain fan! If you like Columbian food, this is the place to visit! We'll back for more Sancocho, Bandeja and Picada!
