I had a cart of a few small things. I spent an hour in there carefully picking things out. I went…read moredown an aisle that my cart couldn't fit down so I left it on the side and the few minutes I skimmed the items in this aisle my cart and items had disappeared. Someone directed me to a gentleman that was the manager. Apparently he returned everything to the shelves and scolded me like a child for leaving my cart in the middle of the walkway. Now I have enough common sense to NOT leave my cart in the middle of where people are walking so I let him know that it was on the side of an aisle that was too narrow for the cart to go down (the window curtain aisle) He continued to argue with me and said he wasn't lying about finding the cart in the middle of the walkway and was super defensive and argumentative. Homesense please provide this gentleman with some customer service classes. I WONT BE BACK HERE!!! If you ever have to deal with manager you will be met with defensiveness and a rude attitude. Do better!!

Two-level store attached to the mall. Makes for a convenient stop for everyday essential items…read morewithout having to go elsewhere after the mall. However, better signage that is visible and well marked would be appreciated in here. Like maybe as soon as you walk in from the mall? I had to wonder around and figure out the department I was looking for was on the opposite floor. Finally found a directory in the middle of the store near the elevators/escalators. Would have been great to know that and be able to head there instead of aimlessly navigating the floorplan for a while. I found that this location was lacking on a lot. Lacking on stock for one. A good amount of the shelves were empty or near empty with product. It is also lacking on space. It is hard to browse when you are constantly having to say excuse me or excuse somebody to get by. If it wasn't for the convenience of the location, I doubt this particular store would be open long as a standalone store. Best thing here, allowing you to go from one floor to the next.

The manager Tim is the worst customer service representative and really hates woman. Today, he made…read morea gigantic deal and scene today about how "rebate checks" are only supoosed to be used once every few weeks. He shamed me for trying to use more than one $5 coupon at one visit to target. Yes you heard me, $5 coupon. Not $50, not $500 but $5. I have been to 3 other targets that allowed me to do multiple transactions with the rebate coupons. Mind you, I am buying $54 Enfamil containers of formula. But the man is most likely a woman hater and kept insisting that I should not be doing it and the other targets should not be allowing me to use multiple transactions for the formula. So this woman hater is telling me, my child who drinks 10 little cans or 5 big cans of Enfamil formula a month, I should space out my coupons every couple of weeks. That's so hilarious. Then why would Enfamil send 15 coupons that expire within a few months of receiving them. He would not let up, until I said I'm just trying to feed my child. I have never seen such a horrible customer service representative in my life. Not sure who he paid to become manager of this location. Rest assured, I will be mentioning this to all my friends and family to avoid this location as much as possible. What crappy customer service, disrespect towards woman and buying customers. I spent over $300 today on Enfamil formula at target and he refused to let me use a couple of $5 coupons. How ridiculous, a big rule follower and stickler and likes to shame woman who are just buying milk for their family. I'm sure he's a real fun person to be around for his family. NOT.

As of today, I've been a member and going mostly to this location for almost 4 years…read more positives: 1. Better layout than Fairfax location 2. A large parking spot that looks divided into 2 sections and if the closest section is full, you can always find parking a bit further away. 3. Fairfax location is better organized at the checkout with boxes and packing -- verified multiple times. 2. Less Asian food options which is a big bummer for me.

I wanted to share a positive experience that deserves recognition. We often hear about customer…read moreservice in stores and restaurants, but rarely acknowledge the people working in automotive service departments. Today, I visited the Newington Costco for a TPMS issue and received outstanding service from Tony and Norvel. They were friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to helping customers. Despite an extremely busy shop, they remained calm, courteous, and respectful with everyone. When my vehicle wasn't ready at the original estimated time, they took the time to explain the delay and sincerely apologized. At no point did they seem frustrated or dismissive. Instead, they continued treating every customer with patience and kindness. I also remember Tony helping me tremendously with a battery issue about seven months ago. He may not remember me, but I certainly remember his exceptional service. Tony and Norvel are a credit to Costco. Their professionalism, positive attitude, and dedication to customers make a lasting impression. Thank you both for a job well done.

We worked with Shea Studio Interiors to renovate our home in Fairfax Station, and we honestly…read morecouldn't be happier. What started as a kitchen remodel quickly turned into a full-home renovation because everything was going so smoothly--and that's thanks to the amazing team at Shea Studio and Duran Contracting. Bonnie was our main designer, and she was incredible--super thoughtful, creative, and totally invested in the project. Leah kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and June (the owner) was hands-on during all the key phases. They were all great to work with: professional, seemingly always available, and flexible. What made a huge difference was how much time they spent upfront getting to know our style and what we needed from the space. We'd never done that kind of deep dive before, and it made everything else so much easier. From there, it felt like they just "got" us--they really took our vision and ran with it. They helped us find the right partners for everything--cabinets, appliances, furniture, lighting, even a custom wine room. Everyone they brought in was top-notch and fairly priced. Plus, they handled all the scheduling, deliveries, and any issues that popped up (like damaged items or delays), so we didn't have to worry about a thing. If you're thinking about remodeling or redesigning your home, we can't recommend Shea Studio enough. They're talented, professional, and just great people. Our home even won a Home & Design award this year--and we've included photos so you can see for yourself!

June Shea is a delight to work with. We came to her in early November knowing that we needed to…read morefurnish our living room properly in advance of our entire family descending from out of town for Christmas. I was kind of awkward at first, knowing that we might have different taste. However, June listened and adjusted to what I liked. In a short time, we selected a delightful suite of living room furniture. June made sure the furniture arrived on time and arrived on the delivery day to put everything gorgeously in place while I worked on my business, including tactfully putting aside some junk and even offering to hang our art. That gave me huge relief, because it was the day before my guests were to arrive, and I had no time to deal with it. I was also impressed that June did many things off the clock and didn't charge us extra when she realized it would suit our taste and lack of time best to order our art gallery wrapped. June also found a way to repurpose four lamps that we had so that they went with the decor where they were situated. I have already hired Shea Studio Interiors for an additional project to spruce up my bedroom and office. Additionally, June's suggestion to move my office from upstairs to downstairs has tremendously benefitted my business operations, will save me on taxes, and will provide me a better sense of peace in the upstairs, "home" part of my home/office. My family was very comfortable using the furniture we selected (except for the jealousy, perhaps), and my sister-in-law said it looked like something out of a magazine! In short, Shea Studio made our house more homey and beautiful and our office more businesslike and functional. Highly recommend.
