We then spent money traveling to the facility, only to be told by Omar immediately upon arrival that he didn't have any cars and that the system was down. We wasted the entire morning reserving the car, waiting for the pickup time, and commuting there for nothing. If no cars are available, the system should not allow reservations or send confirmations. Very disappointing -- we will not be renting from Budget again.

Omar at this location even helped us change the one way drop off when the Uber wasn't allowed at the DIA location. To top it all off, I left a difficult to describe tripod for my DJI Osmo Pocket 4, and I came in a week later and Omar knew exactly what it was that I had left when I told him I left an item in the car. While driving to the airport for a business trip, my rental car started shaking on the highway. I had to pull over, and after calling a towing company, I was informed that two lug nuts were missing and all the lug nuts on all the wheels were loose. This was not only incredibly dangerous but could have resulted in a serious accident. In addition to this safety issue, I had to change my flight, which cost me an additional $190, but Enterprise did nothing to compensate me for this expense. I tried to reach out multiple times, emailing the account manager and contacting customer service, but I received no response. When I dropped off the car, I was told someone would follow up with me but no one reached out. The lack of care for my safety along with the poor customer service has been incredibly disappointing. I'm not only upset about the flight change fees and the stress this caused to my work schedule, but the fact that Enterprise seems to place no value on ensuring their vehicles are safe to drive. I travel a lot for work and rent cars frequently. It's disappointing that Enterprise failed to take responsibility for these serious issues, and I will not be renting from them again. I will consider legal action if necessary to obtain the report on this matter.

Then he tried to sell me on accident coverage, but I told him the credit card I was using covered me for that, too. The rep will try to get you to spend more than necessary so advocate for yourself. Anyway, they didn't have the car I reserved (SUV EV), so I was put in a "brand new" 2023 Nissan Rogue (gas) that sounded louder than a U-Haul. That car sucked. The exterior was dirty so it was tricky to spot damages while we were doing a walk-around with the Hertz rep. The tires were at the end of their life and practically bald. Even on a dry, straight road, the car felt like it was fishtailing. Taking turn was worse as you'd lose all traction. The gas pedal was finicky and only knew 2 speeds no matter how hard/light you pressed on it: creep and floor it to hell. I didn't feel safe driving that car, but I was stuck with it until Monday when other locations would be open and I could see about swapping that shit box for the car I reserved. When Monday came, I called the location I rented from and told them all about my issues with the car. The best they could do was call around to see if other locations had the car I wanted, have someone grab the car, and bring it to Arvada where I could pick it up. I could easily do that myself, minus driving 45mins to their location when there were others much closer I could do the swap at. At the end of the day, I got the car I originally reserved. Upon returning it, it seemed like I wasn't the only person with car issues at this location. Another customer was complaining about the same thing: fishtailing on dry, straight roads and mentioned how bad the car is and all this other stuff. He ended up saying that the guy was trying to screw him over. He was pissed and rightfully so. I was glad to return the car and I don't plan on renting from this location again if I can help it. Everything about this place seemed shady.

We were told we could take it to a car wash and they would deduct up to $20 for the wash. The inside had footprints in the back as well as driver side. Also noted, there were no floor mats in this vehicle at all. When we returned the vehicle, we vacuumed out the vehicle top to bottom, wiped down the interior (even though we did not receive it that way) and windows. Photos are attached in the review of the returned vehicle. All of a sudden, over 24 hours later we receive a call that we will be charged $325 for cleaning the vehicle out. I was shocked. If you review the photos of the vehicle, there is no dirt, sand or dust in the vehicle. The vehicle was returned spotless. I will be fighting these charges as that is a little excess for cleaning. Steer clear of Budget in North Glen on 104th and spend the extra money at enterprise car rental. I read all reviews here and the cleaning fees are crazy. They do not clean the vehicles when you get them! Its your responsibility to clean it they said. Attached is also the Budget agreement paragraphs on returning the vehicle clean. Normal wear and tear is okay it states, but a piece of hair, or a piece of sand left behind is warrant for $325 cleaning fee?

There is only one person working here at all times, so trying to call is a mission. What they fail…read moreto mention to you prior to renting you a car, is that if there is damage upon return, they require you to pay them your entire deductible on the spot as a deposit until the insurance pays them and than refunds you (if you've already paid it for the year). When I brought my car back with damage, and this 22 year old guy said "I have to collect $1,000 from you as a deposit". I said, "umm nobody every told me this. I just paid my deductible today (hence why I was at Enterprise)." After confirming I have an active policy (that paid for my rental in the first place) he said "that's just how the world works". I told him I didn't have $1,000 to give him and that in no world am I giving it to him. I asked for a manager. He said I could just walk out and that there was nothing he could do. So I did. Because my insurance is going to pay them and THATS HOW THE WORLD WORKS.
