The repair lasted for 3 uses and when I called to ask them to stand behind their work I was blamed for breaking the bolt due to improper use of my old system. They came back to replace the bolt (took 20 minutes, tho I was billed for 2.5 hrs of labor initially) and didn't charge me for parts or labor on the second visit. The owner told me I had broken the bolt by misusing the system and he would not do any future service of my old system, though he couldn't find anything else wrong with it. He was pissed that I asked them to stand behind their overpriced work. good riddance! Do't use these guys!

It broke at 2.5 years (has a 2 year warranty) and when I brought it back they said it is cheaper to buy a new one ($600 to repair). So I bought another one since I liked it so much. This time, it broke at 23 months so I brought it back to have it repaired. They told me, "It sucks to be you because you didn't register it when you bought it." I didn't realize I was supposed to do this. But I called Dolphin the company that made the robot and they said, "Not a problem, it is still under warranty, we'll fix it for you free of charge." I had already left the robot at Watermill hoping they would fix it. I showed up 2.5 weeks later since I knew it was under warranty and thought they would put 2 and 2 together and figure out like me that it was under warranty. The woman at the counter said, "we haven't had a time to take a look at it yet." She then said, "that isn't my department, there is nothing I can do." I said back to her, "If there was nothing you could do about it, then you souldn't have taken it 2.5 weeks ago. I asked for the robot back and quite frustrated I dropped one swear word saying, "don't waste my time if you were not going to fix it." I then left the store and a man comes out to my truck saying, "Don't you ever talk to my employees like that again, if you ever come back here I will trespass you!" Wow, that is all I can say. Never quite had an experience like this at any store in my life before. I'm writing this review to warn others to stay away. I will be taking my business elsewhere. First tech said I needed a new leg; then a new team came on second visit and said "I guarantee a new leg won't fix it". They told me "Covanas are very tricky; best not to mess with it." Total charges were about $750! No resolution of problem of the low leg and incomplete spa closure! So, I called Covana in Canada and they explained how to elevate the leg. All I needed was a $5.00 cam buckle! I just needed to disconnect the drive shaft after placing the cam buckle and allowed the overly compressed non-motorized leg to elevate. Now spa will close without gaps. I subsequently found out that this company uses subcontractors to install the Covana spa covers. I personally think that the "technicians" didn't have the skill sets and/or knowledge to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this company for fixing a Covana spa cover. All it costed me was a lot of money without resolution of issue. I felt completely ripped off and horribly overcharged. Come to your own conclusions. But my advice is to steer clear and buyer beware!
