On March 8th, I took a friend to dinner at Osaka Restaurante, located at Rua Amuri, 234, Jardim Europa, São Paulo. While I want to emphasize that the service was good, we were disappointed to see a flying cockroach in a restaurant where we paid nearly 900 Brazilian Reais for our meal. The manager did kill the cockroach outside of the establishment, I have to tell you this experience was not pleasant. I hope the restaurant management takes the necessary measures to prevent such issues in the future. As a result, I will be giving this review one star.

To be honest I rarely try the salad bar and just wait for that glorious meat to start coming one after the other after the other with that flag of "bring meat" ! :) Although the salad bar was amazing I came for a specific reason which was to stuff myself with as much Brazilian meat as possible and that I did! My favs are generally the Picanha, ribs and the chicken hearts and at Baby Beef they did not disappoint. The service was fantastic as well and I left feeling full and fulfilled! cheers to Baby Beef for a great meat experience!

Some of the meat was delicious and perfectly cooked, while others were not flavorful and/or over cooked making them very chewy. One of the people at my table loves chicken hearts, so they prepared those for us as well. Can't say I'm a fan of those, but I did try one. The salad bar is pretty amazing as is the sushi station. All in all, a pleasant experience, just wish there was consistency with the meat prep.

I pulled up to the museum and immediately thought my driver took me to the wrong address. After speaking to the front desk, they guided me up to the 8th floor where I laid my eyes on a spectacular rooftop with an amazing panoramic view of the city. I stopped in the restroom to wash up and saw the Michelin plaque on the wall and knew I would be in for a treat. The server immediately greeted us with a pop up menu of drinks. Yes, a pop-up book that came to life with handcrafted options for the most original cocktails I have seen in São Paulo. Each drink you order comes with its own magnet as a gift to take home and remember the experience. As of that wasn't enough, we were presented with a unique bottle of honey gin by the distiller himself. This drink came with instructions...take a sip, count to 3, and watch the flavors unfold while tickling your tongue! I promise if I had more room in my luggage I would have come home with a bottle. As a gin lover, this was something truly special. Now onto the meal...bolinhos de bacalau were perfection. The flat iron steak was tender and flavorful. The palmitos were crunchy on the outside and melted in my mouth. For dessert, the presentation was beautiful and there was just the right amount of sweet to end the night. I highly recommend Vistas for a special occasion on your next visit to Iberopuera. You will NOT be disappointed.
