Unfortunately, the experience ended badly. The morning after his grooming, my dog's eyes were red, swollen, and had significant discharge. Since our regular vet was closed due to the upcoming holiday, we were referred to UGA, where he was diagnosed with chemical burns in both eyes -- caused by skunk shampoo getting into them. He's now in considerable pain and will require ongoing medication and treatment. I appreciate that they fit us in quickly, but clearly the grooming process was not gentle or careful enough when handling his face and eyes.

It smelled like home. Very clean. Front office staff was very friendly and Dr. Thompson was awesome. She listened to my concerns and provided me with affordable options. She treated my dog (ZuZu) like he is treated at home with lots of love. She talked to him during her examination and her assistants were very calm and experienced. He finally relaxed because he knew he was being treated special. My dog will go back because of the love and attention he received on yesterday.

I will never leave my dogs here again. We had boarded here before, but this time was a disaster…read more We boarded our 2 dogs for nearly 2 weeks. The collie came home with a deep, infected puncture wound on his hind paw. The vet said it was at least a week old. The golden came home with dried blood and a ring of lacerations around his neck... maybe bad rope burn or some kind of strangulation injury. Also my dogs were starving when they came home, eating and eating. Each dog lost over 10 lbs, which is a lot for a 100lb dog. I don't know what goes on here behind the closed doors. The staff at the front seem nice... but something is very wrong. They did not tell us there was any problem or injury to both our dogs. This place should be shut down. Do not take your pets here. I am still paying the vet bills, over $600 to get the wounds healed that were caused/incurred here.
