I really wanted to leave a more positive review, as the staff here were very kind and got us in the same day after my dog had a suspected skunk encounter. Unfortunately, the experience ended badly. The morning after his grooming, my dog's eyes were red, swollen, and had significant discharge. Since our regular vet was closed due to the upcoming holiday, we were referred to UGA, where he was diagnosed with chemical burns in both eyes -- caused by skunk shampoo getting into them. He's now in considerable pain and will require ongoing medication and treatment. I appreciate that they fit us in quickly, but clearly the grooming process was not gentle or careful enough when handling his face and eyes. read more

wow, I took Bogart in for a nail trim and file and I was absolutely amazed at how well he did with Haley. she is like a female version of the dog whisperer. so I booked him for a grooming appointment. I highly recommend Haley for all your fur babies read more

If I could put zero stars I would. Not only was it a 3.5 hour wait time to keep my dog for a basic bath and nail cut they managed to slice her leg on the side of the bathing tub and call me making it seem like it was alittle cut... they did not offer me a discount or even offer my pup a treat after this happened. So I paid full price and for a treat to comfort my pup. Not to mention the lady who did this did not even come to me and apologize for this incident..... never coming back. read more

I would give them less stars if I had the option. Every single time that I have made an appointment for my dog to be groomed, evidently there is some error where they don't have my information down. So, I have taken off of work to bring my dogs in only to find that they are woefully inept at their job so much that they can't even write down in their schedule. Friendly people. Low stock. Dog treats were higher than most stores. I was referred by Instinct Dog food to the store as they were one of the few suppliers with the brand. However, Petsense did not have a lot of the brand to offer. However, Instinct stated the store carried all their products which I found out from the clerk they do not. read more

The customer service in the grooming area is Horrible! If I could give it 0 stars I would. We came in on a Friday to see if they had availability. There was an older lady there that told us to come back at 10:00am on Christmas Eve. We arrived on time. Went to check in a lady named Haley stood there with a confused look. We told here we made an appointment on Friday. She said I wasn't planning on doing more than one dog today. . She was VERY RUDE. She asked us for her rabies paperwork we told her it was on her tag. She said she can't accept that. But at that point she made it clear she didn't wanna do it. So we just left. Mind you we had the paperwork in our car. Worst experience and a waste of time on Christmas Eve. The customer service from Haley was terrible and we will not be returning because of it. read more

My daughter took her puppy to get a flea bath. Apparent the flea bath doesn't even last until she got home. The dog was still itching and I could see fleas still moving. I went to the store to ask about the bath. The woman told me "yeah, those don't last more than 24 hours." I said "well.. it didn't even last until she got home". The lady said "yeah, you might want to buy a stronger flea killer." Are you kidding me??? So my daughter paid extra for something that didn't even work for 1 hour???? Oh hell NO!! I really like to shop locally when i can to keep the business here in Covington. I will NEVER EVER shop here again. Went into the store today, wearing my mask, saw the sign saying to wear a mask, and felt as safe as you can feel in this pandemic out in public. I noticed NONE of the employees where wear their masks. I put the merchandise back on the self, and politely told the staff, I would never shop at their store again, because the employees are not even following health guidelines, and pointed out the sign on the door. Went to kroger, and walk back to my car, and noticed they took down the sign advising you need to wear a mask. read more

I visited store #7106 in Covington Georgia today and received superior customer service. When I walked into today I was a little stressed out and the young woman helped calm my fears. She helped get me exactly what I needed and answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and knew her stuff. My new dog and I are now at home resting comfortably and this young woman is to thank. She went above and beyond to help me. This experience was so disappointing and I will never return. I highly recommend if you haven't taken your pet here then DON'T! My shih tzu was fully fur coated but definitely had some matte. I trusted this groomer knew what she was doing or if she had questions about how much she should cut or she would at least communicate with me. I dropped my dog off at 3pm and after not hearing from her in 3 hours I went to the pet shop to check on my pet however, she hadn't got started. I saw a glimpse of my dog and she had all her fur. I left and was called by the groomer 2 hours later. When I arrived the groomer wasn't there and the cashier was. She took me to get my dog and I didn't recognize her. She skinned my dog alive. Literally I cannot stand coming into this place sometimes. Today I went in and the store manger is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. You can't have an attitude that bad and work in customer service. Even the grooming department is bad. They took almost 7 hours on my dog and I tried to call to check on her and when I finally just showed up she wasn't even like either on yet. They left mats in her ears when I specifically said to just cut all the hair off from behind her ears because I already knew she had a few mats. She's got lots of fluff behind her ears so it just happens so I went ahead and told them to just take all her fluff off. She left with mats all in her ears?? Like ?? Why ? I wouldn't come here if you can't bite your tongue. I don't know how I managed to not be a Karen but i seriously hope this store gets better management or at least something because this is awful. read more

I dont know from direct experience because when I tried to schedule my dog there was a mix up and I just went somewhere else But I stood and watched the groomer and her interactions with a couple of dogs. I would NEVER let these women touch my dogs!!! They were jerking the dogs around and being quite aggressive to the 2 obviously scared dogs!! I absolutely love this establishment! I've always been greeted as soon as I walk in. The workers are helpful and have always treated me with kindness. Lori is one of the groomers there and I have used her in the past when I had my Maltese and he absolutely loved her and she loved him. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more
