What a great little artesian find. Located on Pearl street along the art walk, tucked away is this store. All homemade items from around the world, you are guaranteed to find something for anyone. Jewelry, spices, you name it. The owner was so warm and welcoming we spent more time chatting with her than we did shopping! She was just lovely as can be. Come check them out and ask her about her new premade food pickup service she is creating! Might be a new dinner option for you!

It's a great little store with lots of food, , craft, and curated clothing items. It is welcoming to refugees.

I went with 2 sandwiches, The Brooklyn (Pastrami and Swiss cheese with pickles and a red sauce (thousand island ish), on a pretzel bun) and a Parisian (Ham, pickles and butter) on a baguette. The sandwiches were pretty tasty. A bit skimp on the meat though. The bread was great! Best part of the sandwich, for sure. They weren't super expensive either, $14.00 and $11.00. Not bad. I would come back and try other sandwiches if I lived nearby.

MAINLY REVIEWING SANDWICH EXPERIENCE:…read more I'm not sure what's happening to me at these fancy places close to where I live, but this sandwich at Goudy's Deli SUCKED. Yes, I get it, you have fancy bread and meats, but when you serve customers a sandwich with A VERY-HARD-TO-BITE BREAD it makes you never want to order there again. Maybe the Lord did me a favor by making me realize how pointless it is to eat out nowadays. Ordered the Club sandwich and realized I make a WAY BETTER one at home. Hey, at least I don't serve myself a sandwich with hard ass bread. Maybe I should be thankful? Note to self: don't waste money on food that hurts your teeth and roof of your mouth. Ambience? Definitely for rich, lazy people who don't know good food. Too quiet inside. Definitely NOT for cool people who have personality and are loud. Like Italians.

I'd imagine based on the folks involved and the quality of the meal I had that this concept should stick in the space. As is customary for me when I eat late, I ate at the bar; service from the bar staff was excellent, and the Somm stopped by to help with wines. I'd be remiss if I also did not mention that the people watching was spectacular. Food-wise, the Ostiones and Carne Apache were excellent, as was the corn bread and the Carne Asada. Honestly, the only thing that was kind of a miss is no longer on the menu, which was an al pastor dish that was too big and very muddled.

Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment, especially considering the price. Our ratings: * Ostiones Nakaochi Tuna Tartare - 9/10: Absolutely delicious, especially with the habanero oil. * Kanpachi Tostada Baja Kanpachi - 0/10: This was inedible. It was extremely salty, and the chips were stale. We sent it back. * Pan de Elote (Jalapeño Cornbread) - 10/10: Outstanding. * Stuffed Portobello Mushroom - 7/10: Enjoyable. * Costra de Ribeye (Prime CAB Ribeye) - 2/10: Very greasy and lacked flavor. Brought it home for our dog. * Pollo a las Brasas - 8/10 for the chicken, 0/10 for the fries: The chicken was well prepared, but the fries arrived cold, greasy, and soggy. Overall, about half of the dishes we ordered missed the mark, which is not what we expect from a restaurant at this price point. The dining room was also so dark at 7:00 p.m., while it was still bright outside, that it almost felt as though the lights hadn't been fully turned on. It made the atmosphere feel uninviting rather than intimate. Our server was excellent--friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of the evening. However, despite sending back a dish and raising concerns about others, management never came by to check on our experience or make any effort to address the issues. We spent $300 for dinner and left feeling disappointed. Given how much we've enjoyed the group's other restaurants, this was surprising. We hope this was an off night, but based on this experience, we'll be choosing other restaurants in the future.

Starting with my favorite and the absolute knockout: The Dry-Aged Bistecca Agnolotti. Think of a ravioli pouch, but smaller and better, filled with meat, sitting in a bed of the most perfectly browned brown butter with thick parmesan shaves on top. You think it's over, and then your server comes and pours a sweet yet vinegary reduction on top. I'm actively eating it for breakfast as I write this. Insane. Will be thinking about this for a few days. The others in the group got the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which is one of their most popular dishes. It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good. Overall, service was great, restaurant is beautiful, dishware is pretty, and vibes are sophisticated yet unpretentious. You will be walking 40 days and 40 nights to the bathroom though, which is outside the restaurant, through the hotel, down the stairs, and through the hallway. Can't wait to return!!!

Prices are high and service is eager- perhaps a little too eager to take my plate or drink before I'm finished. If I'm paying $20 for a cocktail and am not getting another, ask first. I like to sip the ice as it melts and enjoy the flavors. Appetizers were great. Got the chicken dumplings and sesame raviolis . This and the herb salad was my favorite bite of the night. Had we stopped there, it would be almost 5 stars. We also ordered the whole fish at $125. I love whole fish. The server encouraged us to order a side despite coming with lettuce/salad and rice. He neglected to mention the rice and we ordered the noodles. This was overkill and wasteful. I would have preferred room for dessert. The fish was good but they pour the lettuce and dressing over it so it's rather gloppy. Not worth it.,, for $125 I expected more., So I left the meal feeling more meh after a great start., a lot of complaints are about the prive and I agree. It should be pretty perfect for the $$

The food was good but nothing to merit the hype that this place received, let alone the prices asked for. The restaurant was very busy and a pet peeve of mine (which is no fault of the staff, I understand) is being seated late when a reservation had been made. What's the point of offering reservations, then? We were sat in a corner on a very very small table for two. We had to remove the lamp off the table to barely make room for our orders. My friend ordered a bottle of their sparkling water which was placed in an ice bucket out of our table's reach. It wouldn't have been an issue if we didn't have to keep asking for the glasses to get refilled. I believe the hype of this restaurant got the better of the actual dining experience. The food was nothing spectacular and the service was severely lacking. I liked their eggplant dish, Specially with the pinot noir the Sommolier recommended and that is all. The restaurant was definitely more on the Vietnamese side of cuisine but there are several other Vietnamese restaurants with better food and better service. As far as their French influence....there are also other French restaurants that I would consider before returning here. The novelty of this restaurant in our area is the attempted fusion of the two cuisines. Quite honestly, the sisters shot their shot and the service and food, jusy missed the mark. I wouldn't go back, personally.
