Let me start by saying this is my first bad review. My husband and I go often and had great experiences. I contribute all of the good times to the only person we allow as our waiter Shania (not sure spelling). But tonight 2/27/25 was to say the least the worst ever. We order long island for drinks had top send the first one back because it was clear yes clear and tasted like water down lemonade. The second was not great either and was told add lemon and lime to fix it. We order buffalo wings it came back brown not red so I ask for sauce, it was pretty busy so I understood it was going to take them some time to bring it so I got up and got it myself. Our meal was triple smashed buger with bacon yeah well we got a burger on hoagie bun no bacon and cold fries. They order new fry and bacon but by the time the fries came out we were halfway done and the bacon never showed up. I spoke with manager CANDACE and she was rude as hell. She told me bread was bread and that we shouldn't be complaining. After back and forth she wanted to take off for the bacon smh. I stil left my girl a good tip as always but it was a nightmare for the price we paid. That manager needs training or a new job if she hates the one she has. We wont be back no time soon. THIS WAS THE WORST EVER ! Stopped in on a road trip thinking it was going to be a pleasant experience. Boy was I wrong. The environment alone was dark smelled like stagnant water and unwashed restaurant clothes. The food was absolutely atrocious, my mom got a burger she didn't even eat half Of it soggy lettuce old tomato dry unseasoned meat. I ate the salad bar which smelled awful but I figured it was my own personal opinion. I ate a couple bites before deciding this was a very dumb idea tasted old an soggy. Ewww just disgusting. My gf and I were on our way to FL and we're excited to see this location as the ones in our area have closed. The service was poor, server forgot our appetizer and didn't do but say... of I forgot. Her chicken was overbooked as well as my ribs.... Some things even bbq sauce can't fix. Please be wary if you visit those location. It was New Years Day we were traveling back home from Tennessee and stopped to grab a bite to eat around 6pm only to be greeted at the door with a person saying WE ARE CLOSED WE RAN OUT OF FOOD. My question to the general manager is didn't you realize it was new years, didn't you realize it was a busy time . So needless to say us and about 10 other cars pulled in and then right back out. Do yourself a favor and keep driving down 95. Even if you're tired or need gas and starving, keep going. Bad: Garden bar smells and has limited items. The bathrooms are disgusting. Staff are trash. This ruby tuesday has lots to be desired Service was slow, couldn't get my order right. We asked for condiments took them about 10 mins and two waitresses and 3 tries to get the correct condiments out. Salad bar is not fresh (as stated on there menu). Flies are everywhere. Terrible experience. Waited 1.5 hours just for silverware & napkins after asking 3 times- waited more than 2hrs for our food. Placed orders & 20mins later the waitress came back to say they couldn't make burgers because the patties were frozen- aren't they all?! Then left for another 15min before taking 2nd order to replace frozen burger pattie order. Had to remind waitress about drink orders several times. The patrons behind us had their baked potato brought out 20min before their steak. They didn't have silverware so we gave them ours so they could cut their steak. Unfortunately by the time we decided we had enough, and stood up to leave, our food was brought out. No apology or explanation from waitress or manager- it was business as usual for them. Reece was an amazing waitress tonight. She chatted with us about our road trip and informed us all about the local area. As for the food, it came out a little slow but everything tasted very good. So, first thing was the Disable Parking spit was on the left back end of the building, so my mother had to really push her walker a ways...the hostess was outside talking on her phone but was courteous enough to hold the door open...the waiter was good, friendly and efficient. Food was a D- at best. Dads burger was burnt, my avocado on my turkey burger was brown. As I walked my mother to the restroom, I noticed a nasty smell by the food bar. Seriously. Wow! DO NOT....Just don't. I understand people are understaffed. But employees screaming at customers and kicking people out because of it, is a little bit frightening. They were literally yelling at people and saying "We're not serving anybody else tonight!" Customers ordered food that they weren't getting and they were mad. Oh my word! Worst food and service I have had to date. I have never left a negative review before but here is the first. Salad bar was terrible. Only half full, no plates and no condiments. Waited 30 minutes just for a plate and they never did put anything back on the bar. Hour later we got the soup that was terrible at it best. Canned soup over salted and had a crust layer from sitting under heat lamps for to long. My son got chicken strips that we fried a week ago I am sure. Service was slow and almost non existent. Really, really awful!! Should have heeded reviews, but it was the FIRST recommended from Yelp for Wayneboro, GA. It was SO bad. Got appitzer plate-couldn't eat the spinach/artichoke dip. Very old, reheated multiple time. Honestly, nothing on the platter was good! Instead of marinara for the cheese sticks-it was COCKTAIL SAUCE!! Really-anything the same color was okay? No lettuce or crotons (they tout the croutons) on the salad bar. The soup took so long, ( it was a half cup) I told my husband I'd wait in the car. The cheese and bacon for the "Loaded" baked potato soup came after he finished. The food was really, really bad!! I felt so sorry for the waitress. I KNOW she was embarrassed. Ok, 5 years later I'm back to the same Ruby's with much improvement to report. I had a great chicken quesadilla appetizer and a top shelf margarita! Husband enjoyed his perfectly cooked ribeye, broccoli,baked potato and grilled shrimp skewer! Where to start....10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Well they were out of Turkey burgers so I ordered crispy chicken and tomato soup my fiancée ordered chicken sliders with broccoli cheese soup. Waited 10 minutes his soup came I was still waiting on mine. There is plenty of wait staff compared to customers but looks like not enough cooks, waitresses were standing waiting for the orders to come up. After 30 minutes we got our food. To my surprise the chicken sandwich was good although a little to greasy for my liking, maybe one more pickle. Just in case your wondering, one exit down there are other restaurants. Absolutely terrible. A server by the name of Jasmine started taking care of us until ANYTHING YOU COULD IMAGINE went wrong. The server walked out on us (and a few other tables) after delivering our meal and never returned. Then proceeded to use the restroom while waiting for our check (which we waited 30 minutes for) and the stall in the ladies room was overflowing. Then asked 2 other servers for our check. Finally when we got our check she never came back to take our card and gave us zero discount. We left money on the table luckily. The reviews for this place are really bad. We didn't look at those before we stopped. My wife and I were driving late at night from South Carolina to Florida and needed something to eat. It was about 7:30 or so on a Sunday night. We walked in and the hostess said it would be 10 minutes or so. I looked and there were A LOT of empty tables on the one side. She said "there is only 1 server on that side and we don't want to over whelm her" WHAT?? We finally sat down and Waited..... Waited....and Waited. Another server from THE OTHER SIDE of the restaurant was walking by and said "has anyone been here to see you yet"? We told her no and she said "it's ok, I'll take your order". My wife ordered a chicken dish and I ordered the full rack of ribs. We got up to get my wife her salad from the salad bar. By the time my wife was done with her salad, the server was bringing our meals. Truthfully, the food was really good. We noticed 1 server in the area we were sitting in. She had a pony tail and looked liked it was her first day. Not very attentive to the 2 or 3 tables she had. Glad she wasn't our server Got the check and paid the bill. It was a "buy one get one free" offer they had. Tipped OUR server and left. Our servers name was Talina T and she was awesome. Sad she had to take care of us from her section on the other side of the room but she was amazing They get 3 stars based on her attitude alone. I will mention, when the hostess was sitting us, we passed by an eaten chicken wing on the floor. The hostess was in the area SEVERAL times during our meal as I watched her cleaning tables. By the time we left, we walked out the same route we walked in and that same chicken bone was on the floor, right in the open. My Husband and I were on our way back from a Charlotte getaway from Hilton Head and stopped in to this Ruby Tuesday on October 11th for an early dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised to have such great service and food from a chain franchise in a very unexpected location! Our server Talina was so personable and welcoming with a positive attitude and the most amazing ability to multi-task!!! We will go back whenever we are in the area!!! We had a group of 12. The staff at this location was very accommodating and pleasant. Our waitress was the very personable Talina . She did an outstanding job and loved her smile! When you drive into the parking lot and there are no local license plates, believe the 2-star review average. If I could give it a half-star, I'd still be disappointed I couldn't make it a quarter-star. This is one of the most mismanaged restaurants ever: no silverware, salad bar half-stocked and going down, two bartenders for five customers, possibly four to five servers but our server was working tables all over the restaurant. She couldn't keep up with orders and had no help that I could see; what I did see were a number of employee-looking people hanging around the bar having a nice time. Meanwhile, a couple across from us asked for butter five times and the table across and behind wanted to leave but could not get their ticket. Everyone had to ask for silverware, which was rolled up into a napkin when needed, but not for future customers. After having some salad and a couple of soft drinks, and realizing after 30 minutes that the main portion of the meal was not coming out soon, we stopped the server, told her we were done, here's $20 for what we had, and walked. If you ever find yourself in Walterboro, SC, go anywhere else for food. We should've gone to Dairy Land or Cracker Barrel or any of the other, better-rated places to eat. I hope some local eatery will hire our overworked server and show her how the real thing operates before she's too burned out to ever try serving again. read more

100 percent happy with our carry out order. My wife got the chicken tenders which she said was very good. I got the Hickory Bourbon Salmon. I was surprised at how good the salmon was - among the best I've ever had. Baked potato was prepared very well along with a crisp salad. Excellent staff here too when I went in to pickup the order. I have not been to a Ruby Tuesday for a couple of years but now I'm going to use their carry out more often for sure until we can all eat safely indoors again. (They did have indoor diners there at the time but I'm waiting for the Covid thing to wind down some more.) read more
