The employee who brought us our coffees was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. I love blueberry pancakes, and I knew as soon as I looked at their menu what I was ordering. The Pancake Breakfast comes with your choice of pancakes (blueberries always of course), 2 eggs, and choice of meat (bacon for me, tyvm). Cracker Barrels line their walls with such interesting pictures and it was really nice just sitting, relaxing, and scanning the walls while waiting for my pancakes. The pancakes were very good with the exception that they might have been cooked a tad longer to create more of a golden brown color, however the inside was done so no harm done. Before I knew it, my plate was cleaned, my coffee cup empty, and it was time to get back on the bike. A good meal, pleasant service, and a relaxing stop is what you'll find here. Be sure to check them out.

Once seated, our waitress was very nice and quickly brought our drinks, silverware, and hot biscuits. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. After we finished our biscuits, we noticed our waitress had left (as in, the building entirely). After waiting about 30 minutes, another waitress came over and told us she would be taking over our table. By that point, several tables around us were becoming frustrated as well, with no one receiving food yet. Eventually, the table across from us was served, even though we had been seated before them and were still waiting. After we asked about our order, the new waitress finally checked and said the food would be out shortly. We also never received drink refills, and my sister eventually had to get up and go to the kitchen area herself to get tea. When our food finally arrived, I ordered the hamburger steak with mac & cheese and green beans. The "steak" was essentially just a hamburger patty, and the mac & cheese was cold and bland. On top of that, the noise level from the bus staff was excessive--much louder than expected, with silverware being tossed into containers in a way that was very disruptive. The bathrooms were also not clean and had no toilet paper. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this location has been a disappointment the last several times we've dined here. I will say the retail staff are always great--no issues there. I just wish I could say the same for the dining area.

We sat down and waited 30 minutes without anyone coming over to take our order or even acknowledge us. What made it worse was that there were only about 3 other tables occupied, so it wasn't like the restaurant was packed or overwhelmed. We sat there watching employees move around while completely ignoring our table. Then another customer walked in after us, and they were immediately acknowledged and served while we were still sitting there waiting. At that point, it honestly felt like we were being intentionally ignored. We understand that restaurants can get busy and that things happen, but waiting 30 minutes just to have someone take our order when the restaurant was mostly empty is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and basic customer service was the biggest issue. We eventually decided it wasn't worth continuing to wait and left. Four customers sitting at a table for 30 minutes without even being acknowledged should never happen, especially when other customers who arrived later are being helped right away. Very disappointing experience. We came in expecting a simple meal and basic service and couldn't even get that. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you're prepared to be ignored. We were also the only brown people in there at the time..

Although I have been to waffle House, which I'm sure I reviewed prior. I came in around supper time, 6:00 p.m. or so, and it was probably at 75% capacity. I sat at the bar, after being welcomed by a local fully equipped with his own Skynyrd beer koozie!! Hahaha! They have karaoke, and they karaoke DJ spinning all the good country hits, literally emulating exactly what I play at home. Anyhow, the local that pulled my chair out essentially, told me that the "bartender sucked" But in good ole down home local fashion, she clapped right back, and obviously he was joking cuz she is phenomenal. Despite having a completely full bar, and waiting tables, she acknowledged me almost immediately. Even sat down in the bar stool next to me to take my order and chit chat and go over the menu with me. I think her name was Alicia, but regardless she was outstanding! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper wings. They came out really fast, really hot, and really good. I kind of wish I had room to order another entree, but it filled me up. As I waited for my food, I was suddenly engulfed by an entire group of locals. Now this place, is the mature crowd, and they were so nice they sort of took me under their wing! This is the epitome of down south hospitality. I've been holding out on coming to this place for a few years now, and looking back, I wish I would have came a lot sooner. I hate using the term "vibe", But this is totally my vibe. Great food, great service, great locals, laid back atmosphere with music playing and karaoke? You just can't beat it. I have responsibilities, so I had to leave really early, but rest assured, I will definitely be back. I mean who else is going to sing Jason Aldean on the karaoke machine? Thank you skynyrd's, thank you Alicia (I hope I remembered your name right), such a great experience and I'm sorry I had to cut it short! We placed our food order of the Loaded Fries for an appetizer, 2 Killer Club sandwichs(pesto on the side)with fries, Secret Philly with onion rings and the Blackened Fish Tacos with the chips salsa and queso. The Loaded Fries were delicious! Plenty of bacon and queso on them. The Philly was delicious, onion rings hot and crispy. The kids loved their Club sandwiches. They were HUGE and the kids could have easily split one. The Blackened Fish Tacos were the only negative on our trip. They were pale colored, hardly warm, and the slaw was soggy.
