Another horrible place trying to sell crap food for premium money. If you want a salad you may be ok but other than that forget it!

If corporate hasn't visited your RubyTuesday in Walterboro, SC lately, they really should! It is by far the worst one I have ever been in. The rancid smell of the entire place is awful but especially around the salad bar. The smell stayed with me even after leaving the place. the salad bar was not being rotated. I watched the attendant dumping new product on top of old. They were out of so many products on the menu that many items couldn't be ordered because one or more pieces were out of stock. the waitress brought out mozzarella sticks but said there was no marinara sauce for them. They were out of tater tots, no grapes and no soft pretzels. So that left out many of the appetizer combos as not complete. The only thing she would substitute for any of the items out of stock was mozzarella sticks but then of course, there was no marinara to go with them. Those are just the items we tried to order! A little girl at the next table ordered spaghetti but it came out with an oil topping because there was not marinara. The waitress even stated that they always ran out of a lot of items on Sundays and they were lucky that they weren't out of more. The manager was filthy as were the food prep areas. But the smell and dirtiness of the entire establishment was atrocious. Good thing it was so dark in there that we couldn't see just how filthy it was. I am shocked that they would let this building and restaurant be called a RubyTuesday's. The health inspector should be the first person to visit. I have no doubt it would be shut down! read more

I understand that businesses are short staffed but wow did the manager here not handle it correctly. According to her, her name is Betty. She is very dismissive of customer concerns or questions, she is downright rude & disrespectful! She took it upon herself to close early & we witnessed her turn away a lot of groups. Once we walked out some of the other customers shared their horrible experience here, which matched ours. If you are short staffed maybe sitting up front doing nothing & being rude isn't the answer. This manager could definitely use some customer service training. If you hate your job then go work somewhere else instead of trying to ruin other peoples day while running a business into the ground. read more

By far the worst Ruby Tuesday. If you don't live in this town keep driving! Endless bowl of soup and they serve the bowl half full! Salad bar is shit and service the same! So sad! Not many options for those who do live here! Good luck! read more

Slow service. Cold food. McDonald's better bet. Several people walked out some refused to pay for cold food

Hey - the place is closed! Tried ordering online, got no confirmation, tried calling multiple times with no answer. Further research found the place shut down this past April! read more

As a single diner I am always interested in how I am treated in comparison to larger groups. At this Ruby Tuesday's there was a big difference in the service I received tonight than when I went with a large group. My server was hurried with me, I was definitely treated differently than a family sitting nearby. I generally tip 15% for good service 20% for great service she got a dollar for showing up tonight. I love their salad bar and usually enjoy eating there, not tonight. read more

First of all the service was very good. It wasn't her fault that they were out of MANY items. The quality of the food was terrible. The brisket sandwich had 4 very thin slices and the worst bbq sauce ever. The tater tots were so over cooked that I could not put a fork in them. Potatoe salad was horrible and the baked beans were right out of a can. read more

Stopped for dinner, the staff was friendly and inviting. I Sat at the bar and the food and service was great.the bartender Jillian I believe made me feel like I I was a regular. The place was just great read more

About, no, the worst RubyTuesday I have ever had the misfortune to visit. The place was not busy. I asked for a large booth. I was seated at a tiny booth. The bus person was wiping down the table with a soured cloth that smelled like dirty socks. That's when I should have walked out. I ordered the evening special, "steak and lobster". What I got was not steak and for sure that "mush in a 3" long half shell", well, that was not lobster. AND IT WAS ALL COLD!!! I saw a Krispy Kreme sign sign down the street. Think I'll try to reward myself with that!' read more

So bad!! Only got salad bar this time because last two times the food was horrible. The plates were all dirty and were full of water, gross. The lettuce was old, brown and yuck. The toppings were all mushed together and the tongs were filthy. The banana peppers tasted rotten. The soda had an aftertaste like someone farted in my mouth. How tf is that even possible?!?! The server was nice and actually brought drinks this time but that can't make up for how gross everything else was. And none of the tables were clean, which is easy to tell because it's almost empty. Apparently no customers doesn't mean you have time to clean... Do not eat here. read more

Don't go here! Waited awhile to get sat and then for our waitress to show up. Ordered salad bars and walked up to the bar area and it was very dirty looking with just wilted iceberg lettuce. We were informed that they ran out of all other lettuce and it was only 9pm. So ordered other entrees. Took forever to get our drinks. After waiting almost an hour with no sign of our waitress, we were fed up and wanted to leave. Asked the hostess if we needed to pay for our one lemonade. The manager said sorry it was taking so long and not to worry about it but no other explanation. It wasn't just us because we heard complaints coming from tables all around us. What a waste of our time with no food to show for it! They really need to get their act together and really surprised they are still in business. read more

Amazing service!!! Excellent food. From the start, the waitress was fenomenal and very friendly. We order and the food was on point. Didn't take long for the appetizer to come out and the main course right after. My mai tai was one the best I've ever had. Great customer service. Will definitely recommend. read more

The food was good, but our waitress, Nichol W, was awful. Water arrived as I was finishing my salad bar. Baked potato arrived with no butter or sour cream. Requested butter didn't arrive through her. She cared little about what was going on with us. Shaniqua G. brought butter as soon as it was requested, even though we weren't in her section, and brought it with a smile. Shaniqua should get a raise. Nichol should be fired. read more

Stuck in traffic on 95 south and saw a sign for Ruby Tuesdays. Chain restaurant so didn't think it could be too bad . We were wrong! The place is very dirty, Windows, floors, bar etc. Tho only good thing I can say about this place is a server told me to try the Main st Grill down the street and it was a real treat! read more

Typical Ruby Tuesdays. Salad bar was replenished regularly and veggies were fresh...which is my main concern since that's what I order. Child's chicken fingers looked great. Egg rolls looked yummy but too spicy for me. They packed us all in one section of the restaurant so it was noisy and irritating. They could have spread us around. The couple next to us checked voice mail on speaker phone. Made for unpleasant environment. The place was empty other than the front right section. read more

This was one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever eaten in. If it wouldn't have delayed us even more on our road-trip we would have left. This place should be shut down by the local health inspectors. The restaurant was completely under staffed as well. Disgusting read more

Stopped in at 8pm traveling through. Hidden away and no lights on in parking lot or on building. We wondered if it was closed and now we wish it would've been. Staff barely acknowledged we were there and the ones that did seemed like zombies and one grunted at us. Seemed to not want to be there. It kind of creeped us out. I wasn't given silverware until I asked for it, and the pasta dish I ordered tasted like Spaghettios. I never post reviews, but I wanted to make sure I helped at least one person have a better night at a different restaurant. read more

It took a very long time to get our food. We only ordered 3 hamburgers and a salad. The resturant was not crowded. The booths are very hard. The place should be bulldozed. Why did I not check yelp before Why? read more

Great service. Bad food(what we ordered). My girlfriend and I came on Sunday brunch to a packed house. We got a table quickly and promptly. The waiters was very nice and helpful. My girlfriend and I ordered the veggie sliders. They where horrible. BBQ sauce on a veggie burger is a bad idea, we don't want to be reminded of meat when we eat. Too sweet and they keep falling apart. it was more of a Sloppy Joe rice burger. I not ever going back. Who knows you might like it. read more

Lovely meal and excellent waitress. Portions were generous. Service was friendly, fast. Food was well seasoned.

Terrible!! Don't come here. Eat somewhere else. Food is terrible. Service sucks. Bathroom dirty. Didn't finish my meal. Asked for refund and left. Run away .... far far away!! Manager was inexperienced and unprofessional. read more

Returned to Ruby Tuesday on our drive to Florida. Again the salmon was spectacular As were the pretzel sticks and my husbands feied chicken sandwich. The restaurant was filled to capacity. Still cannot understand the poor rating for this restaurant. Shante our server was excellent and attentive and super sweet Had a great conversation about our in Common Queens neighborhood in NYC. Good food at a great price!!! read more

Broccoli stewed in water until mushy. Lobster over cooked. Tilapia was edible, almost good. Baked potato slightly brown from being kept warm too long. Rolls maybe one day too dry. Tea from mix? This is a very busy place because of its location. Someone in management from the district office needs to examine how many meals are cancelled by patrons as too bad to eat. Also, how many are comped as an apology. Major retraining of cooks and fast casual food prep. Staff was friendly, helpful. Food is the problem. Cleanliness also needs work. Maybe the turns are making them so profitable Ruby Tuesday sees just the gold. However, I have been to some that are pretty good. This one needs help. read more

On our way back from Florida we got hungry saw the sign and decided to eat there. We ordered kids pasta & apples. Wings appetizer and spring rolls. We waited 10 min for drinks. The food took a little longer. Kids pasta I wouldn't feed to my dogs. It had absolutely no flavor and no cheese. The wings were ok but they had leftover Fries mixed in the sauce, definitely not a very good impression. The spring rolls over cooked and placed on old bed of lettuce also not a tasteful picture. Waiter had to be ask several times for drinks and to go box. That's my take on this location. read more

Took 15 mins to get drinks(sprite water and tea). My chicken Parmesan Mac and cheese came with no red sauce and cold Didn't complain because it was tastefully microwaved at best... until I got about 3/4 done with it mind you feeding my 2 year old off the same plate. Only to find a nice sized hair mmmmh yum. My father ribs and mashed potatoes were colder than the temp outside. Then to top the whole ambiance off some got carried out by an ambulance whilst I was waiting for my check. Which took at least 20 mins. I waited about 15 for it and no sign of the waiter and was able to smoke about 2 cigarettes to revive me stress and stomach. I have been here 3 times prior coming to town and have had quite similar experiences this one definitely being the most memorable sadly.... Ide recommend frying some roadkill on your engine block before even attempting to have a nice night out with your family at this "restaurant". Definitely mismanaged is an understatement. There was a woman bussing tables and when we asked her for salt and pepper she said "I don't work here I'm just helping" that alone speaks heaps. I could go on but if you've made it this far I trust you get the idea... read more

Ruby Tuesday - Mostly "chicken" with a hint of hair. - Burgers Near Me - Walterboro, South Carolina

Don't bother unless you have a LOT of time. I wanted a quick bite after work and love my local Ruby Tuesday and thought you cant go wrong with a usually reliable chain business... i was so wrong. Slowest service and poor waitress service. Waited 15 minutes for my drink after ordering it. It took 20 minutes to get a box for me, despite my waitress walking over the the far side of the restaurant to talk and laugh with other servers, or stand and watch tv. When I dis interact with my waitress, she mumbled or would look at me until I said my order or said everything was fine. My check was delivered too soon as I had wanted to order something else, which made me feel rushed. I asked for a dessert to go and it took 35 minutes from the time I ordered it. I had to ask for it twice, and the waitres said the kitchen was "so backed up". I know they arent cooking the desserts fresh, they come out of a fridge, just say you forgot to put it in. I am traveling currently amd likely will not come back to this area, if I do I will NOT be stopping at this Ruby Tuesday read more

Hubby's chicken sandwich 5 of 10 Me, med-rare Steak/potato/salad -1of 10. Out of baked potatoes, my steak was refrigerator cold on the inside & raw. Waitress offered to return it but after looking at the staff, 90% standing around shirts un-tucked & looking irritated, I opted to not eat at all rather than risk what happens if you send food back. Manager was made aware but didn't bother coming by. Not because she was busy. She just didn't care about her customers. Waitress was 1of 2 busy & was sweet. read more

Came in approx. 8.30pm on Saturday night after a 14 hour road trip. Friendly wait staff. Alexis was our server - she also works very hard at 2 jobs, including the hotel next door. The house wine was pretty good. My wife and I had the special which was the garden salad and a main course plus a side. I had blackened talapia with coleslaw. The talapia was perfectly cooked, served at a good temperature and the seasoning was spicy and excellent. It also looked just like the menu photo! Coleslaw can be hot or miss. A lot of it can be overly sweet and limp. This was fresh, crunchy and not sweetened - just how I like it. My wife had the shrimp and dirty rice. Again, very well prepared. The salad bar was well stocked and the broccoli, roasted corn and beets were especially good. With wine, was $41, or $50 including the tip. I have never been to a RT's before and this experience was excellent. read more

Stopped in again, as always when I'm in the area. As usual, the service and food was very good. But this time, the condition of the restaurant is a little disappointing. They weren't very busy but the restaurant was dirty and greasy. You know the feeling,, when you pick up the menu and it's greasy and obvious has not been cleaned in weeks. Very disappointing in this time of the pandemic. I'll try it again on a few months, hopefully the cleanliness will improve. read more

what a big disappointment. I used to look forward to the little spicy cornbreads they used to serve. The waitress told us, they no longer serve any type of bread. I even asked for a hamburger bun to have with my meal but the waitress told me the hamburger buns are in short supply and only used for hamburgers. She also told me most restaurants are no longer serving complimentary free bread. This is not true. My husband and I were there on Oct. 29, 2017 I will never return to this Ruby Tuesdays read more

First, my husband and I came in at 6pm on a Sunday night after a long day on the road. We wanted to eat at the bar so, we came in and there were 2 seats at the bar, yeah. After 10 minutes of not being able to set anything down on the counter, we asked for a napkin to wipe the bar. Wouldn't you think an employee would have wiped it down, oh no, they handed us a napkin. Waiting a while longer, we asked if the bartender was only taking care of the servers drink orders and not the bar area and we were informed , "no she does it all". After 10 more minutes , I snuck in our order. The bartender poured my husbands beer and I still waited while she filled several waitresses orders. After giving her a look, she said " I got yours". Finally it came made incorrectly, "a vodka, soda and splash of cranberry". What came was vodka and cranberry. Meantime we ordered and I wanted a baked potato. Oh, we're out. Ordered an app (which was good) hubby ordered chicken bites, Oh, we're out. He finally just ordered French Fries. Meantime a gentleman came in and sat next to us, he ordered a beer and a shot. After he finished his beer he had not gotten his shot.. he ordered dinner and also had "sorry we are out". He finally ordered salmon. They came back a couple of times to tell him they didn't have this or that side. While waiting he stepped outside. They delivered his food anyway, instead of keeping it warm until he returned. It was a total let down..... read more

My boyfriend ordered a sirloin (steak) cooked medium, when the food came out he cut it out and it was grey . It looked as if it was a pork chop. We spoke to the general manager and she claimed to have not seen anything like it before , she recooked it and the second one was covered in grease and was also grey. We got to the restaurant at 9:00 and did not leave until 11. Just waiting on food. I ordered shrimp scampi pasta and when it came out the noodle were all stuck together and the shrimp was cold. The noodles were very gummy and I couldn't finish my meal. read more

Will never go back. Service was horrible, we were brought our bill before we even got our food. The waitress was rushing us so she could leave. We paid and then no one got back the correct change we had to tell her how we were suppose to get. Then when we go to leave she calls us down saying a meal wasn't paid for when it was. I was very shocked. The burgers were dry I wasn't happy at all. Worst service and food I've ever had at a Ruby Tuesday's. Very disappointed! read more

We ate lunch here and was a complete disappointment. We saw our server twice and just overall experience was terrible. Place is outdated and run down. Had a ribeye steak asked for medium and it was well done, piece of tin foil was in my mash potatoes that was gritty. Wife had pork chop, dry and wasn't good. Can really tell that ruby Tuesday is not doing well as a company..place hasn't been updated since they started. We'll be avoiding this chain from now on. read more

The food was okay as was the service but the men's bathroom was filthy and there was a smell permeating the entire restaurant...eau de sweaty pre-pubescent kid after gym class. The end of the salad bar probably wasn't fit for consumption. It was nasty. Hard potatoes in the salad?!?! All of the food was bland and under seasoned, someone doesn't know how to follow a recipe in the kitchen. There had to be something dead under the salad bar...that's how bad the smell was read more
