As a single diner I am always interested in how I am treated in comparison to larger groups. At this Ruby Tuesday's there was a big difference in the service I received tonight than when I went with a large group. My server was hurried with me, I was definitely treated differently than a family sitting nearby. I generally tip 15% for good service 20% for great service she got a dollar for showing up tonight. First of all the service was very good. It wasn't her fault that they were out of MANY items. The quality of the food was terrible. The brisket sandwich had 4 very thin slices and the worst bbq sauce ever. The tater tots were so over cooked that I could not put a fork in them. The toppings were all mushed together and the tongs were filthy. The banana peppers tasted rotten. The soda had an aftertaste like someone farted in my mouth. How tf is that even possible?!?! Don't go here! Waited awhile to get sat and then for our waitress to show up. Ordered salad bars and walked up to the bar area and it was very dirty looking with just wilted iceberg lettuce. We were informed that they ran out of all other lettuce and it was only 9pm. So ordered other entrees. Took forever to get our drinks. After waiting almost an hour with no sign of our waitress, we were fed up and wanted to leave. Asked the hostess if we needed to pay for our one lemonade. The manager said sorry it was taking so long and not to worry about it but no other explanation. It wasn't just us because we heard complaints coming from tables all around us. About, no, the worst RubyTuesday I have ever had the misfortune to visit. The place was not busy. I asked for a large booth. I was seated at a tiny booth. The bus person was wiping down the table with a soured cloth that smelled like dirty socks. That's when I should have walked out. I ordered the evening special, "steak and lobster". Returned to Ruby Tuesday on our drive to Florida. Again the salmon was spectacular As were the pretzel sticks and my husbands feied chicken sandwich. The restaurant was filled to capacity. Great service. Bad food(what we ordered). My girlfriend and I came on Sunday brunch to a packed house. We got a table quickly and promptly. The waiters was very nice and helpful. My girlfriend and I ordered the veggie sliders. They where horrible. BBQ sauce on a veggie burger is a bad idea, we don't want to be reminded of meat when we eat. The food took a little longer. Kids pasta I wouldn't feed to my dogs. It had absolutely no flavor and no cheese. My chicken Parmesan Mac and cheese came with no red sauce and cold Didn't complain because it was tastefully microwaved at best... until I got about 3/4 done with it mind you feeding my 2 year old off the same plate. Then to top the whole ambiance off some got carried out by an ambulance whilst I was waiting for my check. Which took at least 20 mins. I waited about 15 for it and no sign of the waiter and was able to smoke about 2 cigarettes to revive me stress and stomach. I have been here 3 times prior coming to town and have had quite similar experiences this one definitely being the most memorable sadly.... Ide recommend frying some roadkill on your engine block before even attempting to have a nice night out with your family at this "restaurant". Definitely mismanaged is an understatement. Don't bother unless you have a LOT of time. I wanted a quick bite after work and love my local Ruby Tuesday and thought you cant go wrong with a usually reliable chain business... i was so wrong. Slowest service and poor waitress service. Waited 15 minutes for my drink after ordering it. It took 20 minutes to get a box for me, despite my waitress walking over the the far side of the restaurant to talk and laugh with other servers, or stand and watch tv. When I dis interact with my waitress, she mumbled or would look at me until I said my order or said everything was fine. My check was delivered too soon as I had wanted to order something else, which made me feel rushed. I asked for a dessert to go and it took 35 minutes from the time I ordered it. I had to ask for it twice, and the waitres said the kitchen was "so backed up". I know they arent cooking the desserts fresh, they come out of a fridge, just say you forgot to put it in. Broccoli stewed in water until mushy. Lobster over cooked. Tilapia was edible, almost good. Baked potato slightly brown from being kept warm too long. Rolls maybe one day too dry. Tea from mix? This is a very busy place because of its location. Someone in management from the district office needs to examine how many meals are cancelled by patrons as too bad to eat. Also, how many are comped as an apology. Major retraining of cooks and fast casual food prep. Staff was friendly, helpful. Food is the problem. Cleanliness also needs work. Came in approx. 8.30pm on Saturday night after a 14 hour road trip. Friendly wait staff. Alexis was our server - she also works very hard at 2 jobs, including the hotel next door. The house wine was pretty good. My wife and I had the special which was the garden salad and a main course plus a side. I had blackened talapia with coleslaw. The talapia was perfectly cooked, served at a good temperature and the seasoning was spicy and excellent. It also looked just like the menu photo! Coleslaw can be hot or miss. A lot of it can be overly sweet and limp. This was fresh, crunchy and not sweetened - just how I like it. My wife had the shrimp and dirty rice. Again, very well prepared. The salad bar was well stocked and the broccoli, roasted corn and beets were especially good. With wine, was $41, or $50 including the tip. what a big disappointment. I used to look forward to the little spicy cornbreads they used to serve. The waitress told us, they no longer serve any type of bread. I even asked for a hamburger bun to have with my meal but the waitress told me the hamburger buns are in short supply and only used for hamburgers. First, my husband and I came in at 6pm on a Sunday night after a long day on the road. We wanted to eat at the bar so, we came in and there were 2 seats at the bar, yeah. After 10 minutes of not being able to set anything down on the counter, we asked for a napkin to wipe the bar. Wouldn't you think an employee would have wiped it down, oh no, they handed us a napkin. Waiting a while longer, we asked if the bartender was only taking care of the servers drink orders and not the bar area and we were informed , "no she does it all". After 10 more minutes , I snuck in our order. The bartender poured my husbands beer and I still waited while she filled several waitresses orders. After giving her a look, she said " I got yours". Finally it came made incorrectly, "a vodka, soda and splash of cranberry". What came was vodka and cranberry. Meantime we ordered and I wanted a baked potato. Oh, we're out. Ordered an app (which was good) hubby ordered chicken bites, Oh, we're out. He finally just ordered French Fries. Meantime a gentleman came in and sat next to us, he ordered a beer and a shot. After he finished his beer he had not gotten his shot.. he ordered dinner and also had "sorry we are out". He finally ordered salmon. They came back a couple of times to tell him they didn't have this or that side. While waiting he stepped outside. They delivered his food anyway, instead of keeping it warm until he returned. My boyfriend ordered a sirloin (steak) cooked medium, when the food came out he cut it out and it was grey . It looked as if it was a pork chop. We spoke to the general manager and she claimed to have not seen anything like it before , she recooked it and the second one was covered in grease and was also grey. We got to the restaurant at 9:00 and did not leave until 11. Just waiting on food. I ordered shrimp scampi pasta and when it came out the noodle were all stuck together and the shrimp was cold. The food was good. The waitress was pleasant and responsive. But ordinarily, you expect the appetizers to be served first - as in before the main entrees. Tonight, my wife's soup was served first. When she was finished with the soup, my order was served. When I was halfway done, the appetizers were served. After a bit more waiting, the other half of my wife's order was served.
