I applaud the management and staff of this particular Ruby Tuesday. If neat, clean and organized and filled salad bars are important to you, topped off with very friendly and accurate wait staff, then you need to visit if you are passing through. Seemed like the local community already is well aware of this hidden Ruby gem Food opinion: We really liked the bacon cheeseburger entree, tasted fresh and prepared the way we like it. The salad bar was always monitored and refreshed several times as we visited it. Good choices. All in all, we really enjoyed our stop here on our way from Charlotte along Rt 85. ( Observation worth noting: the ladies Bathroom is well managed to my sheer delight and surprise.) Extra observation: Manager was totally hands on along with her waitstaff at their tables. Hadn't been to the Thomasville NC location in several years. Placed a to go order; went to pick it up at the designated 30 minute time slot. Waited an additional 15 minutes. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We were told the waitress was busy so the manager took our drink order..... there were only two tables where people were sitting. We observed our waitress on her cell phone more than 10 times, while we NEVER had a refill on drinks and waited approximately 10 minutes to pay for our bill.... All while we watched her on her phone! Tried to give this place second and third chances. Young girls working there like to talk to each other instead of helping customers. Cold food because they let it sit too long before bringing it out. The problem appears to be finding kids that want to work.... and bad management with zero customer care training. We tend to go to the new Dario's for burgers, fries etc. Dario's has kids but they are very well trained and supervised (not like Ruby Tuesdays). This place has gone downhill. The server we had was very short. She never checked on us. The food took 35 minutes to get to the table. I wouldn't have minded the wait if the food was good. Our waitress was so sweet. I wish I remembered her name! The salad bar is popular, but I enjoyed the baby back ribs.

The spinach artichoke DIP was good, however it was hard to enjoy because the chips had so much salt on them and were kind of stale. The waiter apologized and brought another batch that had no salt and was much better. The food came out and my ribs were pretty good , but the other side of the table was not as lucky. They asked for 2 medium steaks, but they came out medium well and very tough. The lady said, "That is our medium." But it's not a changing thing, there's a standard at which steak temperatures are done. May go back there if I'm invited, but most likely not by my own choice. read more

My wife and I had lunch there today the food was ok. The service was ok, Our meals totaled 32 dollars rounding up, but it cost me $132.00, I left my cell phone on the table. And when I went back to get it, yes it was there, but there is a compartment on the back where you can keep cards, For Christmas I got a 100 dollar Amazon card and a 25 dollar Amazon card, when they handled me the phone it only had the 25 dollar card in it. So lesson learned, these cases are not a good thing to use and Ruby Tuesday's Employees are thieves. Manager would not do anything. I can't help but chuckle a little to myself whenever I walk in on Ruby Tuesday's attempt to be an upscaling/fine dining chain restaurant. It seems they push it a little further each time, and it is a really silly concept. However, as silly as it may be it does put them at a slightly higher level than other chains. So it was with an open mind and an empty stomach that we decided to pull into this Ruby Tuesdays for a bite to eat on our way home from a weekend trip. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the waitress came over soon after with a pitcher of water (ooo la la). The menu is similar to other restaurants in the "family dining" category, with plenty of sandwiches, burgers, salads and other entrees. What I did like was their menu where you got a little something from the kitchen, as well as access to the salad bar. I went with the two mini burgers and salad bar combo ($9.99) and made my way to pile up the veggies. The salad bar was in great shape; it was neat and clean, and the veggies were fresh-looking (and tasting.) They also have some homemade salads like potato and macaroni, but I steered clear of those. When we got back to our table we found a plate of little biscuits waiting for us. They were smaller than those cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster, a bit sweeter and not as tasty overall. The burgers were actually really good, cooked to a nice medium (nice to see a burger with a bit of pink inside) and had a real beefy flavor. The burgers come with a bit of cheese and a pickle...I guess little mini burgers are too small for a leaf of lettuce? If you get this I recommend snagging a couple of extra veggies from the salad bar and hording them until your meal arrives. The meal also came with a small handful of fries which were pretty horrible. While it was good that they are unsalted, they were just soggy and flavorless, like they had been sitting out for a good hour or so. Ick. The missus got the salad bar with zucchini minis combo ($9.99) and the minis were kind of like crab cakes, but with zucchini. They were decent sized pattys and they are pan cook (not deep fried) but she was not a fan of the overall flavor. She also gives a thumbs down to the fries. If you're in need of a place to eat while on the road when big chains are your only option, I do recommend a Ruby Tuesdays. They are a decent option and probably one of the better chains you can come across. Just don't get the fries. read more

Ordered take out this past weekend.......horrible. We ordered two ribeye steaks, both cooked medium. They were over cooked - no pink and very dry and tough. One of my sides was not in the bag. Very disappointing. The service was shotty. Arrived at the bar to pick up the food and employee gave me the bag and my ticket.....I was trying to get her attention but she was too busy on her cell phone to realize I needed something. I came here during the covid-19 massive restaurant shut-down for curb side pick up. When I arrived at approx 5:45 p.m. there were 6 cars waiting for food. At approx 5:55 I placed my order for a chicken breast entree and a cheeseburger. My credit card was run at 6:02 and the guy said he'd be right back. He never approached my vehicle again. While I was waiting, I saw quite a few cars come and go and I thought maybe they had placed on line orders (I was not able to get their menu on my I-phone so I couldn't) but I saw them placing orders. At 6:45, a girl came to my car asking if I was ready to order ! I told her I had ordered 45 mins earlier and where was my food. She looked really flustered and said she would check on it. She brought it out 5 mins later and I told her it better not have been sitting and got cold. She assured me it had just come off the line. The ticket attached to the order said it was put in at 6:20 p.m. She told me to check to see if it was hot. I did open the chicken entree and it was hot and all the stuff was piled on top of the box with the burger so rather than unpack everything, I felt the box and it felt warm. I live 6 - 8 minutes from this place and when I got home, the burger was cold and it had sat for so long that the lettuce that turned to water and the bottom bun had completely disintegrated. The fries were ice cold and had gotten tough like they do once they get cold. The bacon on the burger was totally uncooked. As to the chicken entree's sides, there were 3 tiny broccoli florets. Sad, sad, sad. I realize this restaurant does not specialize in take out, but during this stressful time of not being able to go to a restaurant to eat, they need to make an effort. They are not cheap and if I had wanted McDonald's I would have waited in their drive thru. A person I met told me it took her 1-1/2 hours one day to get her order from this place. Never again will I use Ruby Tuesday curbside pick up and I know I will never be back at this one again. read more

We enjoyed the times we have visited here before, although it's been years. This time was different. We got seated and it took about ten minutes before a waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and wasn't busy. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. When the appetizer came, roughly another ten minutes or more, the chips tasted stale. Was very disappointed. When time past to finally order, both our "sides" were unavailable. Waitress asked if we wanted a refill and said she'd be right back. She never came back to give a refill. Even more time elapsed before our entrees came out. The portions were small, very small. Needless to say we won't ever be back again. For the amount of money that was spent, the experience was horrible. It also didn't help that when we walked in to be seated, across from us a table that still had used plates and food on it. My husband and I are here for the furniture market in High point. This was the only place to eat that had electricity on Thursday night because of hurricane Michael. They told us the wait was long. The staff and management worked together so the wait ended up being a lot shorter the food was great !!!!! No one complained. Because of the great service and great food my husband and I ate there 2 more times during our stay. Not for sure who worked at the bar Thursday-Saturday but, they were great. Ordered take out with very specific instructions. Extra parm- cream and a side of grated Parmesan cheese for each plate, otherwise the dish is dry and bland. (Crispy chicken Mac and cheese) I made sure the guy taking the order understood the full order. Guess what... none in the bag when it was opened . I called the restaurant and was spoken to rudely and placed on hold mid-sentence. Was transferred to someone named Bryan who told me that he saw them put the extra parm-cream in the bag. LIAR. Love the lunch combo with fish tacos and salad bar. The salad bar at Ruby Tuesday is my favorite of all restaurants. The service was very nice. I'm not from around here but I could tell there were a lot of locals coming in being treated like friends. That's not normal for a chain restaurant but it wasn't weird either. A lot of local restaurants with similar 'local' atmosphere make outsiders feel out of place. My mother and I came into the restaurant around 7pm on a Friday night. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. I was surprised when we walked in and saw many empty tables. I ordered the salad bar and my mother ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich and zucchini. The salad bar items were fresh and adequately stocked. The salad bar is the reason why I gave the visit 2 stars. We waited around 20 minutes for my Mom's meal. The table next to us got several visits from servers and the manager. Perhaps they once worked there. We did not see our server the entire time we were waiting on Mom's food. The chicken sandwich was overcooked and had a hard, gristly piece Mom had to cut off.
