Second time I have been and it was worse than the first. Two other tables besides ours had issues with the food and service. All three tables had meals taken off the bill and a discount added but it was so bad that the manager would even come out to talk to the customers. They only had four or five tables seated with people. The carpet looked like they had been slammed busy for hours but it was on 5pm. This place needs revamped with new staff and management! I wish I could give more than 3 stars but the service completely took away from the delicious food that came from the kitchen. We came for a birthday dinner for my wife and a celebration it was not. The waitress lacked customer service skills and we had empty glasses more often than filled ones. We never received plates for our appetizer and I had to get up and go find someone to bring us some. They were all gathered near the bar having personal conversations. Once again the service was amazing from Chris. Glass stayed full, constantly checked up to make sure we didn't need anything. It's my favorite go to restaurant. I would like to know if there is a way to get a refund on the balance of a gift card. The reason for this is the very, bad experiences (note plural) that my wife and I have had over the last year. The final straw was in the last two days and the whole experience has been in 3 different restaurants in 2 different states. The first was last Feb in Winder, GA. we were there because my brother lived there and was having more and more issues with his dementia. We went to the local store for lunch and found the service to be extremely bad (15 minutes between waiter visits in an almost empty store) and the food was barely warm with serving sizes that were very small. The last two were here in Tennessee. Yesterday on the way home from another trip we stopped by another store to try out the gift card that I had received thinking that a different store would be different. Sadly, no. we both ordered steaks (which in themselves were not bad) but that was all. My mashed potatoes were literally room temperature and so was the corn. My wife did not fare much better. the server did bring more potatoes but these were barely warm enough to melt the butter. We had ordered a spinach dip and it and the chips were the only good things about the meal. Nothing was offered to make up for our displeasure. today was the final straw. At the store in north Knoxville we thought that we would try one more time. Right now it is the last time we will ever be in one of the restaurants. I ordered a full rack of ribs. when they came the server did say that the plate was hot but that was the only thing. The top of the ribs looked good but again were barely above the room temperature and when I turned it over to the bone side it was actually cold (refrigerator cold) in several places. My wife had talipia and shrimp and got here food on different plates several minutes apart. Her vegetables as well as mine were barely warm and again wouldn't melt the butter. The server took my ribs back and they did return hot, at least on the top part. Plus the vegetable servings were incredibly small for the cost of the meal. We are currently so disgusted with our experiences at 3 different locations that I would like to know if I can get a cash refund for the remaining of the gift card. We ate here on a Friday night. Got there about 6 o'clock and we're seated immediately. Excellent service from our wait staff. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the Hickory chicken breast. As always, the salad bar did not disappoint. Excellent selections of both salad and toppings. The manager visited our table just to see how things were going which was a nice touch. The menu has a lot of great items on it, however their prices are slowly edging upwards. Overall we enjoyed ourselves it would come back again. read more

Our waitress Jamie was fantastic and took care of us from the second we were seated. This would've been a higher review, however I watched the hostess deliberately antagonize one of the waiters by adding chairs to booths in his section where they obviously didn't belong. He had to keep moving the chairs back to their appropriate spots. She kept getting in his face and starting arguments with him. For about 20 minutes I watched this hostess argue with and disrupt the waiter. Not classy. read more

Stopped in yesterday to eat an early dinner and enjoy a hh drink at the bar. We ordered a mai tai and a margarita and proceeded to watch the bartender make the drinks. The juice for the mai tai was sludge and she had to pour it out of the glass and wash the glass before trying again. Seems the juice was frozen. I was a little hesitant to try the drink but did and it was ok. While waiting for the margarita we watched the servers pulling food from the window and observed them dumping what I'm assuming were sides from little plastic bags. No expo was on the line and no gloves were worn. I saw one server wipe their hand on their pants and then proceed to grab the plate to take to a table. We decided to get the salad bar which looked clean and stocked. The margarita showed up and it was so bad. I normally hate to complain about a drink but this was bad, rancid and totally undrinkable. I called over the bartender and told her that her sour mix was off. She tasted her bottle and agreed and left the bar area to make more sour mix, returning she commented that the other bartender made it and she liked it that way. The 2nd margarita was better then the first but still not great. Bartenders need to taste drinks prior to serving them. We observed a few other little things and decided it was time to go and asked for the bill. $30 for 2 plates of salad and 1 1/4 drinks (3 sips from the margarita was enough) That was a 1 and done for us read more

Gross. Got the chicken tenders and they were not even the length of my finger. Not only did they taste bad, but they also smelled bad. The chips were stale and ranch was extremely watery. Not good food especially for the price. $13 for a burger. Server was nice, but won't be back here. read more

Stopped by here today and arrived at 11:00 AM and was seated promptly . The problem was after waiting 15 mins no one bothered to even come over to get our drink orders. Saw several employees standing around talking and two tables that came in after us were all waited on. We left and told the person that seated us what happened, we left and went elsewhere read more

We had dinner there the other night & had a great server. I don't remember his name but he was originally from California. He was very pleasant with a nice personality, very attentive & obviously worked previously at a more upscale restaurant. He didn't call us all "guys", took the women's orders first, was attentive & didn't forget anything. The food was ok, it's getting a little better. However they no longer have the yummy little biscuits they used to serve but have increased prices. While we were very happy with the service, the food needs to improve or the prices decrease. read more

I am really disappointed at how bad Ruby Tuesday's Has Fallen. I came to this location because I had a birthday coupon for a free burger or garden bar. The moment that I showed the waitress the coupon she shut down and was not attentive at all for the rest of the evening. Good thing my husband and I were not that thirsty or we would have gone thirsty because she would never have come back to the table. We had to get someone else in the restaurant to come and take are card and check just to be able to leave. The salad bar was phenomenal as it always is. The endless soup that I was served might as well have been dishwater. It was red, it had no flavor, and you could not even taste the vegetables. The gentleman doing dishes has long hair and a long beard but they were not covered with a net or his long hair pulled back in a ponytail. You don't have anyone with long hair or long beard hair around your salad bar your dishes or your food unless they have a beard guard on and their hair pulled back in a ponytail. I also noticed that she treated another customer who was using a coupon very rudely and negatively the moment that he tried to use his coupon. I don't think we'll be coming back. I feel sorry for her because someone is going to come in and not order that much food but want to tip her heavily & she's not going to be able to deliver. read more

While the treatment there was unacceptable, the response from Ruby Tuesday was fantastic. I received an email from corporate and a phone call from the general manager explaining that this was uncalled for and out of character. Arrived about 1 PM EDT with wife and daughter. Left at 2:30 PM and those were probably the best part of the experience. Server took drink then food order but left menus (never returned to get). I asked for a refill of my cherry tea but never received. My daughter's bacon cheeseburger had only half a patty and my wife's cheeseburger had no cheese. I had to find a manager. Kudos to the salad bar guy who was the only one to ask if everything was OK, if he could help and actually went to get a manager. My daughter's burger was replaced (minor wait) but my wife did without the cheese. Still never got a refill on my drink. While going to the restroom, I overheard another customer saying why they were leaving without ordering but I did not hear why. I like Ruby Tuesday's food but I was very unsatisfied with the service by all but the Salad Bar Worker. I normally tip at least 20% but felt it necessary to give much less than that. Please fix this or this location will join several others in the area that have closed. read more

We were traveling and wanted a good quiet meal. We look for a special place to reward ourselves when we've had good news. Today was good. I ordered the petite sirloin and panko breaded (fried) shrimp. The steak was a bit over cooked but tender and way too garlicky. The shrimp was so salty I couldn't finish it. And i LOVE shrimp!! Fries and slaw were good. We were never offered refills or dessert. Elizabeth came by a few times but seemed distracted. They were not busy at all as we were there around 4 PM. We were told they don't have bread anymore. What restaurant doesn't have bread!!! My hubby got the Memphis heat and enjoyed it. I have heard what is done when food is sent back so won't do that and couldn't complain in front of my hubby as he might be hurt as he was trying to have a special meal with me. read more

I came here with high expectations but left very disappointed. We came to eat dinner here for my birthday and started with an appetizer which we ordered immediately when our waitress came to our table (along with our drinks.) When our appetizer was delivered (by another waitress) we were not given plates to eat it with. My husband tried to get the attention of our waitress but she was too busy talking by the bar with other staff. He finally got up and went and found someone to bring us plates. At this time we also had to ask for refills since she hadn't come back by since taking our order. When our food came out my daughter's burger was not made correctly and we had to ask for a new top bun after she took off everything that was requested NOT to be on the burger. I had ordered shrimp to go with my salad bar and those came out at least 6-7 minutes before the meal came out so they were cold by the time I had my salad entree. We continued to have to look for our waitress to get more napkins and drinks. She never asked if we wanted dessert and when she brought the bill, it was incorrect and we hadn't seen her in over 15 minutes and had 3 empty glasses on our table waiting for refills. At this point I requested the manager to get our bill corrected. He comped the meal for the problems and still we never seen refills of our glasses. The waitress never denied anything we said and just stood there as if she was unsure on what we expected her to do about our drinks. I did still leave a 10% tip but will not be back. If you can't be bothered to make sure we have refills when we ask and I have to get up to get dishes,I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Both myself and my boyfriend came right before close with his parents tonight (8/7/2018). We both serve and noticed that the server we had gave great service and had to give him a shout out.
