My family ate at this restaurant last night and we were disappointed because the steaks were not prepared as ordered. We had to send them back multiple times and by the time we got them back the rest of the family had finished eating. When we expressed our disappointment to the waitress and manager, they didn't seem to care or be apologetic, and we didn't get any compensation for the food that we had to send back multiple times. read more

This Ruby Tuesday location was a million times better then the Willimantic,CT location I have previously reviewed. The salad bar here had a few different choices, like a pico tomato salsa which was really tasty. The food tonight should have been rated 4 stars, but I took of 1 star due to the poor quality,or should I say due to the disrepair of the decor and tableware. When we were first sat, all I noticed was the falling apart plastic tablecloth and ripped chairs. My son got a refill of soda and his plastic mug was all cracked and chipped. Makes you wonder about the quality of the kitchen. Croutons were soft pillows of pumpernickel unlike the last time. There should be more upkeep to this location. read more

My husband and I go here often since we get the coupons every month. Everything I have had, has always been good! I absolutely love the steak, and when it's cooked correctly it's perfect! My one problem with the restaurant, is that more than 1/2 of the time I have ordered the steak I have asked for it to be well done, sometimes I have asked for it to be extra well done, and when i cut into it it would bleed. I can not eat steak that has any pink! There was a time or two that it took more than two to three returns before my steak had no pink. SO why would I give them a 5 star rating still?? The server and/or the manager always gave great service in correcting it or giving extra after. I've never been disappointed in the taste of the food, and we will continue to eat here. Every time I have visited with family or friends we have had excellent service. Depending how busy it is, I did notice that tables remain dirty until someone takes initiative to bus the dirty dishes away & clean up for next patrons. I have frequented this establishment no less than seven times and each time I've found the food well prepared, the service very attentive and man oh man whether its a cold, tall glass of beer or one of the specialties like sangria or their Ruby Relaxer is thirst quenching. Do not eat here. Last time I went, there was a bug in my lettuce from the salad bar. Figured I'd give it a second shot. This weekend, my boyfriend got horrible food poisoning, shortly after eating a bacon cheeseburger here. They smothered my steak with parmeson cheese, which you could tell they then left it under a heat lamp too long because the cheese was sweating when I got it. I use to love going to this place when coming to visit my in laws. Yesterday was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. We were seated at around 804 pm. The unfriendly waitress took our drink order first and then came back later to take our food order. Fast forward to 855pm. No food yet and no waitress checking up on us to apologize for the long wait. The girl was too busy chit chatting with her regulars. Clearly she didn't care. My father in law then waves his hand at her and ask "what's the deal with our food?". She answers"it's in the back. Did you want me to check?". Seriously who f'ing says that. The people around us who came in after us got their food before us. Clearly the Asian waitress was doing her job correctly and our hick waitress was busy socializing. A minute later after being confronted, our food miraculously comes out. Unbelievable. My food was warm and came with a side or warm coleslaw and room temperature chicken. The only thing edible was the ribs which I only ate 3 pieces of. Father in law had room temp chicken, his girl sent her food back because the ribs looked disgusting, and by brother in laws girlfriends parmasean pasta came out with barely any sauce on it. Everything came out warm. Had the awful waitress done her job right instead of talking, the food would have came out on time. Saturday April 6, 2019. Went to Rubys with my wife and sat at the bar. You should probably pay the female bartender more money for the disgusting verbal abuse she received from her male coworker. I was disappointed to see we paid for a meal to listen to him put her down the whole evening, all the while looking rather confused and overwhelmed with his own job. I would have tipped more if he wasn't receiving half of the money. I hope she's made aware we witnessed her professionalism- and you remove him from the bar or we will be spending our Saturdays at Chili's. read more

Terrible service. I've been here many times and never had an issue. I decided to order take out from their 'to go' menu. They advertise 'to go' where they will come out and bring the food to your car but there was no option on the website for this? I went inside to pick my food up and there was no one at the podium near the door. I was standing there while a waiter was just hanging out near the salad bar. He kept staring at me and I was waiting for him to come over and help me. He never came over. He starting talking to some people and I was getting aggravated. Finally a waitress came over and I said I was picking up an order. In a snobby tone, she told me I had to pick up my order at the bar. How was I supposed to know I had to pick the food up at the bar? She then walked away in a different direction and didn't even walk me to where the bar was. Don't know what was up with the staff, but they were very rude and seemed to only care about socializing. This place has gone soooo down hill these past couple years. I used to love this restaurant, now you can't pay me to go this location! The silverware is filthy, plates on the salad bar are dirty, they put out new food on top of old food in the salad bar and mix it together! There was litterally potato salad that was yellow because it had been in the bar for so long, I saw a gentleman come out and put fresh potato salad on top of it and mix it in! The floors are disgusting, they look hardly cleaned. The portions are so small & not worth the money. The fish is a poor excuse for fish. The meat is never cooked properly and their white cheddar mashed potatoes are no longer real. They're fake. The service is okay, but not the best. Haven't eaten here in a while - now I know why. Four of us were seated at a table. We ordered drinks, appetizers and a main course. I had a burger. It was thin and VERY dry. No flavor at all. The waitress was clueless. Our empty dishes just kept piling up. There was little room on the table when our burgers were served. Each time she came to the table she asked if we needed anything but it seems she couldn't see that we were stacking our empty dishes and glasses to make room at the table. Ruby Tuesday is consistently always superior whether it be the food or the service. my friends and I go between the Waterford Ruby Tuesdays and the Lisbon location. My sister, my niece and I meet once a month to go to the movies in the Lisbon landing plaza and we always eat at Ruby Tuesdays because we always get the best service and food by far. In today's world of tight budgeting if you get the chance to eat out you want to have the best meal for the price your paying and you definitely receive that at Ruby Tuesday.
