We had only been there once when they first opened. Decided to give the $5.49 hamburger special a try. (We love a good burger!!!) Our waitress almost put me in tears she was sooooo mean, short, older, dark hair. I'm beside myself the mean comments rolling out of her mouth were horrible nasty! First we asked for waters to see what we would want, she was short and rolled her eyes. I asked for the hamburger special today. I did NOT ask for a cheese burger. My husband did the same and I said he would like cheese on his and this is when it went bad. I said I didn't want to have cheese, she very mean with smart condescending comments and said she would make it no cheese (On the table there was a table tent of the taco burger, honestly didn't pay attention to it until she pointed out...) she said to me "well can't you read it comes with cheese the ingredients are listed" she turn the table tent around and ran her finger across what the ingredients were ..gulp, I guess I learned I couldn't read, and not sure how I'm able to write this. Truly took me a moment, I once again asked if we are ordering the $5.49 hamburger. She said no. Then uncomfortable silence. I said that's what we would like to order. Honestly can't remember the mean smart condescending comments that rolled out of her mouth. She said "well it's only a cheese burger". Now I'm honestly ready to just cry. I've never been so embarrassed for a staff, this place doesn't know how to: cook anything meat wise. Asked for my burger medium rare, it came out like someone just steamed it. Same with my friends steak. Not to mention I was offered an appetizer half off for "happy hour" (which I said yes to, got something different that I wasn't told of, another friend of mine ordered an artichoke dip appetizer, that I didn't eat but it was put on my check. Hostesses = 0 (zero stars) Both young blonde ladies looked visibly bored. Stated it would be 20 minutes for a table for 3. When asked if we could eat in the bar at a high table we were told no, those tables are 20 minutes also. We stood by the hostess stand and could visibly see a clean high top table (EMPTY) with 4 chairs and 3 empty booths. No update or explanation from either of the two girls. There were two other groups of 2 to 3 groups waiting to be seated as well. A group of 2 ladies walked in and asked how long the wait was and were told 25 minutes. They promptly left. These young Hostesses stood at their helm with the flattest affect I've ever seen in someone who's not depressed and hospitalized. Get that manager, who was walking around and very selectively choosing tables and asking 'how's everything?', to check on the LAME and UNINTERESTED help! We stopped to have dinner on Friday evening, June 11, 2021. The first thing we noticed was that service was very slow. We waited 10 minute and then moved to the bar to order. I ordered the sirloin steak in Asiago sauce, with sides of mashed potatoes and rice. It was terrible. The steak had gristle throughout, which made it impossible to cut. I ended up giving up, and tried to eat the mashed potatoes and rice. Both were subpar. It felt like I was eating at a hospital. The only saving grace was the top shelf margarita. It was very strong. This restaurant is fairly new. The place was clean. I ordered the sweet tea glazed ribs and chicken fingers with a side of asparagus and coleslaw! Everything on my plate was good but the coleslaw! Just stopped in for a salad bar. LOVE a good salad bar and this one didn't disappoint. I ordered salmon to put on the salad and that was not great. They served it in small pieces on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce that I didn't want to add to my salad of spring greens and romaine. Minor, I know...but that's why I give it 4 stars. I purposely give breaks when they ask if they can work straight through for this particular reason. Now what I don't do is give smoke breaks when we are busy so I am glad u had a great visit with us but trust me we do give breaks. Damien I'm sorry that you feel we are plain Jane. We usually don't have a horrible experience here, but today one of our (supposed to be medium) steaks was served rare. we sent it back and they popped it in the microwave for a couple minutes, and served it again almost rare. they smothered it in more garlic butter and it was inedible. the manager did end up taking it off of our bill but we had to really talk her into it. our waitress, "regina" was extremely rude, and seemed like she hated her life. she got obviously annoyed when my fiancé needed a refill. all together just a really bad experience and we will not be dining here again. read more

This place is struggling everyone is going in the wrong direction not focusing on their jobs. They have a nice and big salad bar but don't change out the old vegetable and mix with the new. This is my 4th time here it's not changing. It's like they don't care if you come back. Food has been so so not terrible but not so good. To start the visit they are not capable of telling me what is in the BBQ sauce as I have allergies so I guess it's a plain hamburger...frustrating. Went there yesterday for my birthday. No hostess took awhile to get seated. Asked Chris T my waiter for a plain cheeseburger with 2 pieces of cheddar cheese. Got a cheeseburger with everything on it and only one piece of cheese? The blonde waitress behind me spilled an entire beer on some poor guy. Next person to open up a restaurant think about opening something Different. Ribeye is good, comes with two sides, and is $20. It has never come out cooked wrong always a perfect medium rare. The ribs are also great. The salad bar is awesome except for the rye croutons but whatever. The sides are fantastic - mac & cheese and baked potato are my favorites. The service is good. In many ways this review would be a 4.5. Service was great. The food was great. The reason I rated it as a 1 is because an employee told me that they do not get a single break in an 8 hour shift. We are in Gillette for about three weeks for work. I took my wife to Ruby Tuesday looking for a decent dinner. We like to sit in the bar most of the time we go out. We went into the bar and we were confronted by the hostess from the front door. She told us that she had to seat us even in the bar... Never heard of that but whatever. She tried to put us in a booth in the back corner and I told her three times I didn't really want a booth, she ignored me the first two times, so then she wanted to seat us at the table right next to the front door. The bar was mostly empty, many empty tables, when I told her we didn't really want to sit by the front door either, she just stood there looking around, I said any of these many tables would be fine, she looked confused and didn't know what to do. I decided to go somewhere else. If it's that hard to sit down I don't think I want to know how the rest of the experience would be. I called from another close by restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I waited on hold for a long time when finally a young sounding girl answered and said she was the manager. As I explained what happened and that we would be in town for awhile, she interrupted me and rudely said that's how they do it. No explanation or apology at all. I'm pretty sure she was not the manager, if she was she shouldn't be. We found a place called Rib and Steak House, it was great. For such a small town there's lots of good dining choices. Had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays today, and it was great! Service was prompt, friendly, and discrete, really outstanding. Salad bar was amazing. Had the bourbon pork chop, shrimp and kids corn dogs with a combo appetizer platter and salads. Food was delicious and the bill was only 60 bucks. Pretty reasonable for all that food. Portions were so big we'll be eating leftovers for dinner! read more
