This location is right by the Edinburg outlet mall. They were busy but sat right down. Our server was friendly.We made it easy on her we ordered the salad bar. It's hard to fine a salad bar but there's has a lot of stuff on it. Four different lettuces. All kinds of vegetables-pasta-potato salad much more. Pita bread with hummus. Terrible experience got there 11:30 this Saturday. Restaurant looked like it was not ready to open. Salad bar less than half full with many items not even filled. Brought tea to the table that was just dirty water looking and tasted terrible. We ordered entree sliders which after 30 minutes we still did not receive. We also did not see a waitress. Finally just left money on the table never having received entree 40 minutes after ordering. Always enjoyed shopping here and then lunch at Ruby Tuesday. This place is super close to the outlet mall so I find myself stopping here on those days we venture down to Edinburgh and kinda come here out of habit. Honestly though, every experience has been pretty average. We've had fairly mediocre/bored service, maybe this is because this place can get slammed on the weekends and the workers have lost their will to care. But some tend to be friendly enough. There was one time when the server more or less kept trying to get us to leave, that was awkward since we wanted to order more food (hello, bigger tip!) but I won't hold a restaurant to one server. Food has been mostly good but a lot is standard American chain. Burgers last time were quite good and a delicious way to fuel up before shopping. I usually love the salad bar at Ruby but the other reviewers are right, it is so awkward at this location being right inside the door/next to the hostess stand that I don't want to bother. I am sure we will be back on another shopping trip someday, although we have been branching out to restaurants so who knows. read more

If it wasn't for our sweet and lovely waitress, I'd give Ruby Tuesday's 1 star. The restaurant was dirty, vinyl tablecloth was sticky and food was pretty awful. Most of us stuck with hamburgers and fries which are pretty hard to mess up...mine was dry and over cooked. Fries were nothing special. The burger and fries at Five Guys are so much better- the difference between frozen and fresh was never so apparent. My husband made the mistake of ordering two appetizers- the Philly cheese steak wantons and the Thai phoon shrimp. The shrimp were tasteless and could have been any protein breaded, fried, and served in a sweet sauce. The wontons were especially awful- cheese just doesn't belong in a potsticker! read more

I only visited because there are not many places to eat around this area. The salad bar was fantastic ( I would give it a 5). The food was just ok as I would usually expect from a Ruby Tuesday's. This Ruby Tuesday is one of the better Ruby Tuesday I have been to. I have always been treated with respect here, and I find the restaurant (including the bathroom) to be clean. The salad bar is fresh and delicious. The waitstaff is typically pretty friendly. This is a good location, connected to the outlet mall. I recommend their burgers as well as their salad bar. read more

I have been here three times in the last month or so and everything was always wonderful. Michael is an excellent waiter he waited on us twice we met Evelyn tonight as our host a sweet girl that we expect to see every time we come. First of all, the positives: I love their grilled salmon! I am also pleased that they FINALLY decided to bring beets back at the garden bar. The croutons are great. The negatives: The water at this location doesn't taste good at all. The green beans were barely cooked and almost flavorless; they used to be grilled and oh so tasty. Hubby and I both ordered grilled salmon. I opted for one trip to garden bar while he chose a Caesar salad. Problem: his salad came out JUST ahead of the salmon, and I, of course, had my salad almost immediately. Also, I think it's ridiculous to pay $1.99 for one trip to garden bar when one chooses it in place of a side. As I recall, this didn't used to be an upcharge. This was probably the dirtiest restaurant I've been to in a loooong time. Someone had a period mess all over the bathroom and it made me want to RUN but we had already ordered. The salad bar sounded good but was out of plates and also out of almost everything ....not well stocked. Standing in line at the salad bar there was a sticky invisible mess on the carpet. Host would not seat out party of ten after we offered to split up at different tables "because he would be putting one party where three could go". Average chain. What I did not like about this location: This wonderful salad bar was right at the front door. People waiting for a table were crowded next to the bar and it was very drafty since it was cold outside. Poor set-up. What I like about RT in general: I dig the retro/contemp decor. I love their salad bar. Their salad bar is not all sugar-coated with things that really don't have anything to do with a salad. If you want a good all-you-can-eat salad with all the veggies and grains, RT is the place. I like the square plates, too! This non-vegetarian restaurant has several really cool options for the vegetarian in your group. read more

Bar has several pluses. Non-smoking, friendly staff (for the most part). Reason for one star is how I saw my food being prepared before serving me and the attitude of the manager. I was sitting at the bar so I had a full view of the prep/serving area. Saw what I figured was my dinner. Two of the waiters took it down from the heat shelf. Then I watched as these two used their finger tips to rearrange my food and then pick up a towel (RAG) that was on the prep table and proceed to wipe the edges to include the areas around the food with it. After they liked the way it looked the placed the now dirty (dirtier) rag back on the table and turned around, walked over to me and set the plate down on the bar. Refused it on what I had just saw. The manager came over and informed me this was "normal" practice there and fully within the food inspection/codes. Also told me it was "corporate policy" to do this. The rag I had watched being used was not a rag but was a clean towel they used for this. Manager was very indifferent and didn't care. Told him they could close me out. I paid for my beer and left. Be aware if you don't mind your food being rearranged with the waiters finger tips and then the plate wiped with a "clean towel" this is a pretty good place. If you like the managers that don't care it's another plus. read more

I don't generally expect much from chain restaurants but dinner tonight left me pleasantly surprised... Service: I grabbed a seat in the bar area and was promptly greeted. Every interaction with my server (Jade) was on point! She was so quick with everything I could hardly keep up! :) Food: I ordered the petit sirloin with roasted spaghetti squash and grilled zucchini. Wow was it delicious! I love that they have healthy options on the menu. Overall: If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stop in this Ruby Tuesday's again (as odd as that sounds). read more

Stopped in a for the new homestyle meals. Jessica was delightful and was very efficient serving us. My husband had the Salisbury steak and I had the Shepherds pie. My first and only one-star review, saved for a deserving occasion. After waiting an hour and thirty minutes our food was served without dietary accommodations. While the waitress was more than apologetic it seemed the kitchen was less than understanding, adding another twenty minutes to our wait. I won't be visiting again. After a long day of shopping, this place really hit the spot. We were seated right away and greeted by our hostess right away. I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also ordered a Peach Berry Blush Sangria. Our hostess was nice and quick with both of our food and drinks. Nothing too exciting going on here. Just a typical chain outside an outlet mall. I am not a big fan of this chain, but it's kinda like where else do you eat? There aren't many options. Just three or four chains and that's it. Next time, I'll just wait til home to eat or swing into downtown Columbus or Edinburgh and find a cute mom/pop joint. Today Ruby I give you a 5 star because my meal was so absolutely superb. I had the Coastal Trio Tender lobster tail and jumbo skewered shrimp brushed with garlic scampi butter paired with light, flaky tilapia topped with your choice of creole seasoning or a lemon-Parmesan crust. Served with your choice of two sides. Flawless. I had the lemon-Parmesan crusted tilapia. A big part of my delight is that the food was not salty or over seasoned. Jeff had the cheese ravioli and he said it was GOOOD. Ratings go from good to bad, but we are happy. Also what I had today is new to the menu. read more

After an afternoon of shopping we decided to go to Ruby Tuesday for an early dinner (3pm). We chose them because we wanted a good salad and Ruby Tuesday typically doesn't disappoint. I am from Anderson and that is typically the one I go to. We walked and saw the salad bar, which is the first thing you see when you walk in. The bar was a mess and looked nasty. There was toppings and what looked like a large tortilla laying all over the bar, the dressing was everywhere. What dressing was in the container looked old and separated. The greens looked wilted and wet. The waitress asked if we would like like to be seated, we told her no and left! We decided to go to Montana Mike's instead and it was delicious! read more

First upon arrival we were greeted with a nice host, but we should've known when our shoes were sticking to the floor as we walked by the not so appealing salad bar, that this was not going to be good. The women's bathroom was filthy. The inside of the toilets could not have been clean as there was filth ring, not just stained. The sanitary bin was overflowing and the floor, counter, and sinks were dirty. Thank goodness there was hand soap! Our waitress was pleasant but the food we ordered looked NOTHING like what was pictured! We ordered the platter with a half rack of ribs, shrimp, and chicken tenders. First the chicken would've been ashamed to have tender in their name, they looked closer to dry volcanic brown rocks and hard as! We didn't receive a half rack, which is usually 5-6 bones, there were four and they just looked boiled with some sort of sauce poured over them. We asked for a side of the Nashville hot sauce and they actually brought the rub you put on the meat before you cook it! Three people at our table ordered the chicken "tenders" we couldn't eat them and wouldn't even take them home for the dog. Needless to say this place is absolutely disgusting, however the manager was nice and willing to make it right but we wanted nothing else out of that kitchen and will not be returning. If we didn't laugh so hard at everything, it would have been a disaster! read more

The chips were really stale and water tastes like bleach. Found a hair in my drink, and the restroom sewage system is very loud and obnoxious. Dirty plates and dirty silverware. As they say in radio-land....first time, long time. My first ever Yelp review after years of "lurking." Finally a place so bad I had to write a review. 9 of us dined at the Ruby Tuesday outside the Edinburg Outlet Mall last night. We were there on a swim-meet weekend, competing at Franklin High School, about 20 minutes away. We were seated after a slight delay and proceeded to place our orders, I played it safe getting the "garden bar:" and some "Chef Inspired" chicken wings. My wife had the Louisiana Fried Shrimp, with Onion Rings along with the garden bar, while my youngest son went for the Quesadilla. Unfortunately my oldest son and the competitive swimmer selected the Parmesan Chicken Pasta. All of our dishes arrived without delay, which was nice because a few of the folks around the table ordered the Queso Dip with chips. The Queso might have been the nastiest looking goo I have ever seen. The Quesadilla and the Chicken Wings, while nothing to write home about were fine. The Shrimp on my wife's plate looked like something straight out off the GFS truck and the Onion Rings probably were on the same dolly with the Shrimp when they were wheeled off the truck and into the freezer in the back of the restaurant. All of this for $12.99. PLEASE!!! After a few minutes of eating I look over at my oldest son and notice that he is picking at his food. Now let me tell you, this kid is 16, a swimmer and a growing boy. He eats!!! Normally he does not pick at his food. I look over at him and he says "this chicken tastes funny," and he leaves the table to go to the restroom. I follow him and when we get to the restroom, he feels like he is going to get sick. He doesn't and I tell him to go back to the table, eat the pasta and leave the chicken alone. Too late, damage already done. At exactly 108am, he awakes in the hotel room and immediately runs for the bathroom. After a few seconds of heaving uncontrollably, he starts choking!!! He has a food particle (from his own vomit) stuck in his throat. He can't catch his breath!!! Finally he does and proceeds to deposit his entire meal in the toilet at our hotel room. It is now 24 hours after this wonderful meal and we are treating him for full blown food poisoning. His fever is 103 and he has been reduced to a shell of his former self. Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this horrible place. I understand that accidents can happen anywhere, but it is restaurants like this that give our American food supply a bad name!!! read more
