NY Strip Shrimp & loaded mashed pot
    Ingram S.

The waitress we had was probably the only highlight of the night. We got attitude from what may have been the manager when we asked to move to a table instead of a booth. There were four guys total and we needed the extra room in an empty restaurant. We thought we would have better luck receiving faster service. Man we were wrong. Apparently someone else's order got pushed ahead of ours. Food finally arrived and the steak tasted like it was seasoned with water. Shrimp tasted seasoned and the loaded mashed potatoes were good. My counterparts were not impressed with their meal either. No plans to visit that place again. Thought I was getting a free refill and got charged another drink. Damage for the night before tip was around $37.

    "Loaded" cheese fries; Ruby Tuesday's

I've not been to a Ruby Tuesday's in ages and needed some quick food after enjoying the nearby Exit 76 Antique Mall. The place was nearly empty, but seemingly clean and we got seated right away. The first thing we ordered was the loaded French Fries off the appetizer menu. We asked them to sub shredded cheese instead of queso (which only belongs in a cup served with chip because it turns anything else it touches to mush) and they were happy to oblige. You'll see the picture attached. Apparently the culinary staff and I have differences of opinions as to what constitutes "loaded." We also don't agree about what's worth nine of my hard-earned dollars, especially when there wasn't even a drop of ranch dressing or sour cream anywhere in sight. Sigh... I opted for the salad bar for my entree (as RT's is one of the few establishments that still offers an old-fashioned salad bar). The ingredients were fresh, though seemingly sparse, and though the plates were still noticeably wet, all else was up to proverbial snuff. My dinner partner had the chicken parm with linguine, which came out hot, cheesy (in a good way) and flavorful. All that being said, call me "hangry" (you wouldn't be the first), but the cheese fry issue was enough to keep me from adding a third star. It was enough to turn what could've been a decent meal into something pretty subpar. I mean, I know there's staffing shortages and supply chain issues, but at least make it seem like you actually care. Happy dining!

We stopped here on the way back from vacation. Thought a fresh salad bar sounded good. This was by far one of the dirtiest restaurants I have been in for a long time. The salad bar was not fresh, but it was stocked. There was a film over some of the food showing it hadn't been stirred or changed in a while. The waitress did not refrain from telling us they were short staffed. Half way through the dinner she said she had enough and locked the door around 8:30. I took my son to the restroom and was disturbed by the amount of urine caked in the urinal and unknown substance all over counter. It was quite concerning about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I posted a picture of a no ice sign. I am trying to wrap my head around this. Since McDonald's across the lot has bags of ice for $1 and my drinks were served with ice. Do they not have an ice machine? And this was the only restaurant with a sign on it.

Had chicken tender dinner tonite, tasted vaguely like shrimp. I think they probably cook the shrimp and chicken in the same oil.

Not. Good. They can do better. Both of us had steaks - didn't finish. Low on servers. Won't go back.

We are now an hour an a half in and still do not have our food. Waitress has been great but the management and kitchen are worthless.

The menu has plenty of options, but we had to go for their signature tenderloin. We were excited to dig in. They offered an extra bun plus lettuce and tomato for an additional charge. If you're planning to split the sandwich, I highly recommend getting that second bun -- we were able to make two full sandwiches out of it. Just note that fries aren't included; they're an extra charge as well. We ordered some, but they arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing. The sandwich itself was tasty, though definitely heavier on breading than meat. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying once, but we probably wouldn't return unless we happened to be passing through Edinburgh again.

It was so flat, barely any meat under the breading. I was thinking it would be a little thicker, nope. I split this with my other half. Just a side note which was not a big deal to me, good business process for them. To get another bun and the side fixings like lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion was an extra charge. We got fries they were warm, not hot. It was about 45 minutes before closing. They close early on Sunday it was 2pm. I think the fries were left over and under a heat lamp. I heard later from friends done places have thicker cuts of pork tenderloin. Needless to say, I will not be back. The place was very clean hence only 1 other couple was there. The staff was very nice. You can tell it's a small town Diner. They were out of onion rings, and mozzarella sticks.

Ordered the NY Strip with Ancho butter, steamed veggies and a Caesar salad…read more It says something about a steakhouse when the best part of your meal is the salad -- and the Caesar really was excellent. Perfect portion, great dressing, well-balanced. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end. The steak and veggies arrived shortly after I finished the salad, but the vegetables were cold and clearly undercooked. The bigger disappointment was the NY Strip itself. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the cut was barely a half-inch thick. Grey throughout, with zero sear on either side. To be fair to the kitchen, it's nearly impossible to hit medium rare on a steak that thin, so the real issue isn't the cooking -- it's the quality of the meat being sourced. The ancho butter was $1.99 extra and absolutely flavorless. Didn't even taste like real butter much less any seasoning in it. For a restaurant billing itself as a steakhouse, the cut and quality of the beef has to be the priority. This one missed the mark.
