    Virgin Bloody Mary

Indiana Premium Outlets shoppers, here is your official shopping break pitstop! My mom and I came here as our shopping break lunch and had a blast. We were seated right away and we had quick and attentive service throughout. The space aesthetically toes the line between clean, bright, and open and a cozier cabin vibe. I really don't know how to better describe it! We ordered... Virgin Bloody Mary ($9): mocktail time!! This was a fantastic drink with A+ presentation. I think this tastes maybe a cut above your average Virgin Mary, but I don't have a ton of reference for those. Build your own pizza (price varies): with a perfect hand tossed crust, we got our favorite pepperoni and pineapple on top. The 16 inch is the right size for two hungry people. Toppings were quite generously applied. My mom gives her special shoutout to our server Bri who was very knowledgeable on the beer selection, as my mom is very particular with her taste there. I don't live close enough to Edinburgh to become a regular here, but I would certainly recommend it for those who could!

This is a very small Big Woods in the outlet mall. Don't blink as you might miss it driving through the parking lot. It has aimited menu compared to some of the other Big Woods around the state, but it is definitely one of the better dining options around the mall. There's a small bar too, but it definitely does not have the homey ambiance of the other Big Woods locations. I don't think many people come here for a drink.

I know the Big Woods group offers a pretty consistently good dining experience, so when my partner and I met up with a friend to shop the Edinburgh outlet mall on a Saturday afternoon we decided to finish up with dinner here. They seemed a little short on staff for a Saturday night, but the bartender was as attentive to our table as she could be. Buffalo chicken pizza was good. Steak hoagie had an interesting flavor profile with the peppercorn horseradish...my only disappointment was that the chips it came with were in a bag rather than homemade.

A little confusing as receipts say Hard Truth. At any rate, we met friends there for lunch. We had a dog so sat at the table outside under an awning as it was pouring rain. We ordered breadsticks with beer cheese sauce, pizzas, a Greek salad, a coke, a tea and two beers - a blonde and a Busted Knuckle. All were very well received and the beer selection is great. I've got to return to try the Toasted Coconut rum.

We stopped in on a Monday for lunch for adult beverages and pizza. The service was pretty slow and the restaurant was only half filled. I tried the Gatherer pizza on a cauliflower crust. The crust was crisped perfectly, and the veggies were cooked to perfection/ not soggy. The mixed drinks were delicious and served in a ball jar. We were happy with food and drinks. The waitress did not come by frequently, so if you visit....consider ordering double drinks, an appetizer and don't be in a hurry.

They were down to 1 waitress and 1 person in the kitchen & they did an overall great job for such a busy day. The only real negative was that we ordered beers and didn't receive them. After 15-20 minutes, noticing everyone around us had drinks, we went up to the bartender/manager who we ordered with and asked if we could get our beers and she said she didn't think we ordered any. Kinda weird but we got them at least. The pizza was pretty good! We got the 16inch but probably could've had the 10inch. There were a lot of toppings on such a big pizza too!

It's great that the mall now has a restaurant in the mall so that you can recharge during shopping. The Big Woods is a perfect place to relax, have a bite and even a drink. The service at Big Woods was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly and even offered us samples of their seasonal whiskey. She brought coloring books for our restless kids too. She was 5 star amazing. We split the pulled pork nachos. The portion was large, toppings good but the chips were bagged and just ok. We also shared a small cheese pizza with the hand tossed crust. The pizza was filling but not memorable. The interior is woodsy charming and clean. It was not crowded mid week and patrons were spread out. Restrooms are clean. I'll be back.

We stopped in here for a late lunch after a trip to the outlet mall. We were greeted at the door and seated fairly quickly even though it was Friday lunch time. Our server came over shortly and took our drink order and offered some advice and a sampling on a spicy margarita. Glad she offered the sample first as the aged rum in the cocktail was a bit strong for me. We ordered a large veggie pizza called the Gathering. It was plentiful and tasty. We were able to save almost half as a carryout. Next trip to Taylorsville give them a try. They are located on the back side of the outlet mall.

We were looking for a quick dinner and pizza never fails! Big woods was about 25 minutes away, but I wanted to try something new. I was incredibly satisfied with Big Woods. The pizza took about 15-20 minutes to make and was on the warmer when we picked up! We got three of their largest pizzas (+ Breadsticks) and it easily fed 6 of us with leftovers. Really great flavor, crispy crust, and easy to eat. It's everything you want in pizza; especially at the $20 price point. The staff was incredibly friendly and we had some quick laughs. They have a nice lobby with lots of fun gadgets, alcohol and apparel. The bartender, although I didn't get a drink, seemed to stay busy, kept a clean space and was energetic with customers. My kind of place! For a chain with other locations, I think they've scaled the business quite well and even use Indiana local products to sell in store. It was an easy experience, great pizza and wonderful service. I'm looking forward to the next time I get Big Woods to try something new.

Ate there for the first time today. Very good. Lunch special is one slice of pizza and salad or 2 breadsticks. Breadsticks were awesome. Cheese dip was great. Pepperoni pizza slice was big and also delicious. Will definitely go back.

This place is ass. Spent $37 on a 10" Meat Pizza and wings for take out. Got home and the pizza was cold had no toppings, it looked like a Totinos. Made 3 calls to speak manager and got no answer.

The building sits on the banks of Driftwood River (now called East Fork White River) and offers spectacular views of the famous Robert N. Stewart Bridge in Columbus, Indiana. Upland Brewing Company is a local brewery that started in Bloomington, Indiana in 1998. Now, they have a number of popular restaurants/pubs across Indiana. The building, built in 1871, served as the Pump House supplying water to the city of Columbus, Indiana. The Pump House faced financial, water and quality challenges over the years, but was instrumental in industrial growth of the city. The Pump House operated until 1950, when the city moved to well water. The Pump House served a number of businesses and organizations since 1950. Upland opened the pub in 2016. We were greeted and promptly seated in the bar when we entered. Our server/bartender, Jess, was attentive and friendly. Several other servers also engaged with us, as well. One brought me a fascinating pamphlet describing the history of the building because I was curious. We arrived in time to sample their 3:00 - 5:00 pm Happy Hour. (I love a good Happy Hour.) We ordered Dragonfly IPAs, which went down smooth on a hot summer day. We also enjoyed a couple of sliders from the Happy Hour menu. The Bad Elmer's Fav burger was good with lots of bacon but my favorite was the Hoosier Tenderloin. I should note that much of the food is locally sourced. The building has a large dining room, bar, private dining, private event room, and a fabulous patio with river views. The landscaping is gorgeous. Their signature beers are available for purchase to go along with the logo shirt and a few other logo items. I highly recommend a visit. The food and beer are first class. The setting is lovely and service is attentive.

Pretty inside but also on the inside I had a disaster experience .... Well I've eaten here once…read morebefore and it was awesome but this time it wasn't. Matter of fact I'm not sure if I want to go back. We were sat in an almost empty restaurant but that was most likely because of time of day (around 2). Our waitress though took awhile to come greet us. She took our orders and to start off on a wrong foot our 2 cocktails and WATERS took over 10 minutes to come out. I know this because I had a text I had sent and being aggravated I went back and looked at the time when I sent it . Later on our appetizers came out. It was about 20ish minutes after our order went in. Then our food came about 5 minutes after that giving us little room left on the table. I know it was an almost 45 minute wait to get everything. I ordered the blackened chicken which was amazing my first visit a couple months previously but this time it was dry and definitely blackened .... AKA burnt! The manager was checking on the other tables she had with an additional waitress running around so I assume our waitress wasn't the only one taking care of them (4 as seen in picture actually) and when he popped by to ask how everything was he took my plate to remake it. 15ish MORE minutes go by and I asked the waitress if she could check on my food and she said 'well chicken takes a while to cook'. In disbelief I jokingly said I can make it faster at home so please just get mine to-go since my parents were already done and had been done for awhile. We got to-go boxes for their leftovers and my food came out shortly after . We received $ 40 off without asking so I appreciated getting something for 1 1/2 hours waiting in a nearly empty restaurant and no meal. I went home and when I went to heat up my food AGAIN the chicken was charred and extremely dry. I ate the sweet corn farrotto which was atleast good and trashed the chicken. Since it was now dinner time I made my own meal With the time and overall poorly done meal(s?) I had I think I'll avoid it happening again by just going elsewhere. It's a shame because we went here with a party of 8 previously and they did so good. We were honestly thinking this would be our spot for special occasions after that but it's likely not worth it since the manager and chef left us hanging and yet again served something subpar. I'd of hoped they make absolutely sure my simple chicken dish was correct the second time around I didn't take a pictures of food we got unfortunately. Our appetizers looked and tasted good but they were eaten quickly because we were starving by the time they came out around 3 so no time for those pictures either. I was then too busy sending my food back and eating appetizers. Once my chicken came out togo we all just wanted out of there! Then once I got home I was too aggravated and gave up any reason to go get my phone I suppose. Why bother? They didn't bother to make it right after all except to give us some $ off but I still wasted my time that day and again when I got home making my own food . The manager will definitely remember this disaster though

Our friends agreed they were salty, but took them all home in a to go box anyway. The beer selection seemed good, I had the Scottish ale which was real smooth but a little heavy for me at 8.4%.
