We were seated right away and we had quick and attentive service throughout. The space aesthetically toes the line between clean, bright, and open and a cozier cabin vibe. I really don't know how to better describe it! We ordered... Virgin Bloody Mary ($9): mocktail time!! This was a fantastic drink with A+ presentation. I think this tastes maybe a cut above your average Virgin Mary, but I don't have a ton of reference for those. Build your own pizza (price varies): with a perfect hand tossed crust, we got our favorite pepperoni and pineapple on top. The 16 inch is the right size for two hungry people. Toppings were quite generously applied. My mom gives her special shoutout to our server Bri who was very knowledgeable on the beer selection, as my mom is very particular with her taste there. Jeez Big Woods, hire some people for this location! I tried to eat here last Saturday with my family after a long day of shopping. We stood in the lobby for 15 minutes and were never even greeted by anyone. There appeared to be two servers on the floor who were having to do everything. It was pretty obvious to me that they were actively hoping we would leave so they wouldn't have to take on any more customers. We ended up leaving, hungry and pretty angry about the experience. And what self identified as flavor lacked cohesion and imagination. Their attempt at reimagining pizza flopped and did nothing but disappoint and dash hopes. The atmosphere was ok-ish but lacked in uniqueness. It was a cliche. Yes, pizza was ordered, but counterfeit calories masquerading for authenticity was what was served. I won't be back. Chef Boyardee needs to come out of retirement. His canned pasta would have at least been worth the stop and wait. So let's focus on the lonely positive among so many negatives. This is a very small Big Woods in the outlet mall. Don't blink as you might miss it driving through the parking lot. It has aimited menu compared to some of the other Big Woods around the state, but it is definitely one of the better dining options around the mall. We stopped in here for a late lunch after a trip to the outlet mall. We were greeted at the door and seated fairly quickly even though it was Friday lunch time. Our server came over shortly and took our drink order and offered some advice and a sampling on a spicy margarita. We were looking for a quick dinner and pizza never fails! Big woods was about 25 minutes away, but I wanted to try something new. I was incredibly satisfied with Big Woods. The pizza took about 15-20 minutes to make and was on the warmer when we picked up! We got three of their largest pizzas (+ Breadsticks) and it easily fed 6 of us with leftovers. Really great flavor, crispy crust, and easy to eat. It's everything you want in pizza; especially at the $20 price point. The staff was incredibly friendly and we had some quick laughs. They have a nice lobby with lots of fun gadgets, alcohol and apparel. The bartender, although I didn't get a drink, seemed to stay busy, kept a clean space and was energetic with customers. My kind of place! For a chain with other locations, I think they've scaled the business quite well and even use Indiana local products to sell in store. That's fine because there are other beers that we enjoy. I ordered a Hoosier Red and was told that the keg had just blown too. The beer tender was apologetic. It is Sunday, sunny. Temps in the mid 50s. It is the first weekend of Spring Break and the last weekend for others. March Madness is going on. I cannot understand why they did not have extra kegs or at least enough kegs to sustain business. It was 2pm on a Sunday. I had no idea the famous Nashville pizza place had found their way to the Edinburg Outlet Mall until a friend pointed it out while shopping there. We decided to give them a try. Upon walking in and being seated, it was immediately apparent no one working there wanted to be there. This was the case during our entire visit. Our waitress was either exhausted or upset but we felt like a burden the whole time. I felt bad for her but we were uncomfortable. I ordered a water and it came out tasting terrible. I ordered an orange soda instead and it was served warm with the ice immediately melting. It was never refilled until I tracked down our waitress and asked for a new one. She sighed loudly at my request and brought a new one about 10 minutes later. We split the pork nachos and a small peach & prosciutto pizza. My friend had dined there once before and said the nachos had little pulled pork so they were ordered with extra. While delicious in flavor, there was still very little pork on them and we were charged $5 for extra pork. Seriously? The pizza had good flavor but on the entire pizza, there were 8 little pieces of peach, with 6 little crispy of prosciutto (yes I counted because it was essentially comical). The price doesn't match the experience here. Like I said, flavor was on point but I would never return. Staff needs to care for guests while checking on them and quality control needs reviewed. read more

I'm assuming they were understaffed. Once our sever came we ordered right away and the food was quick. They don't have a fry so that does limit their menu a little bit but was fine for us. Only one of their bathrooms has a kids changing table, which is common and fine. But it would be helpful if they noted which one had it. Such a disappointing Big Woods! Ig you have ever been to any of the other Big Woods locations you will be terribly disappointed with his location like we were. Waited at the door for almost 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. There were 3 tables ahead of us waiting to be seated. We had to ask for silverware after we were halfway through the nachos for our other food. Beer is being served from bottles! Soooooo disappointing when you walk in to see the huge draft bar! My husband asked for a second beer. He was immediately yelled at by our waitress with a loud NO.... I do not have that! And proceeded to say other beers she does not have and ended with.....that is why I asked you if you wanted a drink menu. She did say that when he originally have every beer on the wall. My 18 year old daughter who is way stronger than I am got locked in the restroom. She had to text us so I could push the door open. She said the doorknob was broken. What if she had not brought her phone with her?!? Service was so extremely disappointing! Staff was rude and everyone working seemed overwhelmed. Yes, to the personal pizza, standard kids pizza, and cheese bread. The salad was okay. I was not a fan of the cheese sauce, but my daughter liked it; definitely no to the PB&J kids pizza, too messy. It was more hot that I expected it to be because of the red Chilli Flakes on it. I was here on a Friday evening and there was a 15 minute wait to get a table but there was no wait to get a seat at the bar. The waiting staff was kind and tried to make sure we were OK. This place is a part of the outlet mall and We did not have problem finding a parking spot near by since it was Friday evening. Though this location is still new, it seems to be popular, and with the capacity limits due to COVID, we had to wait around 40 minutes for a table. But after that, the service was prompt and we had drinks, appetizer and meal out pretty quickly. The breadsticks were carbo-perfection -- soft-baked, not overly chewy and moist throughout! Brushed with butter and sprinkled with parmesan, they were tasty on their own but the garlic butter dipping sauce made them extra delicious. For our main course, the Gatherer was generously topped with fresh veggies and loads of cheese. The caramelized onions added a unique twist to this standard vegetarian pizza. We also added grilled chicken. We spent the day Christmas shopping at the Edinburgh Premium Outlet mall, and were very surprised that we came across a Big Woods! Had no idea there was one in Edinburgh!! I absolutely love the atmosphere of Big Woods. You walk in and instantly feel like you've walked into a cabin in the mountains. We sat up at the bar. The two bartenders were super friendly and attentive to us. They let us try a couple of beers before we decided to go with the Quaff On Peanut Butter Porter. Literally the perfect chilly day, "cabin" beer. For food, we ordered cheesy bread as an app. It. Is. HUGE. I wish I wouldve taken a picture of our food to post, but after a full day of shopping, I was hangry and completely forgot. I literally thought the cheesy bread was a small pizza because of the size at first! Totally worth it though, we ate about half then boxed the rest up. For my meal, I had the grilled cheese and added pork, and my spouse had their wings. Everything was SO delicious. Every Big Woods that I've been to has had wonderful food, and its good to know that even though this is a smaller location with a limited menu, they have consistency in the quality of their items across all locations. This location is unique though, because it has a gift shop! I ended up getting a bottle of gin as a Christmas gift, and a "treat yo self" bottle of the toasted coconut cream rum for myself. I have been a fan of the Quaff On Busted Knuckle for a while now and here is a restaurant that features this Indiana made line of beers. I was not aware that Hard Truth and Schoonover we also Indiana made.(These will be on my future tasting list). On this particular Friday night we enter towards the end of the dinner rush. I did not remember that the Outlet Mall closed so early, but that may be to the current state of the Pandemic. We got seated right away and our waiter was attentive and prompt. We order two different pizzas(The Forager hand tossed and the Smokehouse thin)and wings. The wings are dry rubbed and smoked and served with a choice of side sauces. I could just eat the wings by themselves. They had a good smokey flavor with a little spice. The pizzas were cooked to perfection. Both had a little crisp on the crust. Our boys devoured them. NO TAKE HOME LEFTOVERS this night. I balanced off my pizza a wings with the Hoosier Red my wife had the Strawberry Blond. Both nice beers. The staff was friendly and attentive. This is my first time dining in any of the Big Woods locations. I had heard many great things about Hard Truth Hills so I was hoping for a good experience. Well it turned out excellent! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and honestly everyone there I spoke with was very happy to be there. It was such a pleasure to dine here, try their pizzas, and even the seasonal brew on draft was super delicious! I thought it complemented the pizza well and it was quite a delightful surprise as it is their pumpkin ale and I have an aversion to pumpkin spiced things because they just seem to be so rampant these days.
