The service was terrible; we hadn't even finished eating and they brought us the bill. I ordered a coffee but couldn't sweeten it because they didn't give me a spoon. We went to Ruby Tuesday last Sunday looking forward to the salad bar. When we walked in there no one to seat us. After standing there for 10 minutes another customer saw us and said you should probably just seat yourself we waited for a long time and no one came to seat us. So, we seated ourselves. After a server who was waiting on tables next to us walked past us 3 times without looking at us or acknowledging us we finally got the hint that we weren't welcomed so we walked out. If someone shat on a plate and served it to me it would have been more appetizing than the garbage I got served at this ruby Tuesday, I thought it was a mob front when I walked in. Some shotty electrical work buzzing away in the background sounding like it was about to burn the place down. The food was trash, all over cooked to death, dry as can be. I decided to drop by Ruby Tuesday to pick up dinner to go late this afternoon. I regret that I did, and I regret that I have to update my review from only 27 days ago. It was a total waste of money because it wasn't edible. I was very disappointed. Asharia greeted me and took my order, and she was kind as she always is, but I didn't order a drink or anything while I waited today, as I usually do. I only spent $30, including a $5 tip (to go order), and that would've been an excellent deal if only the food wasn't ridiculously overcooked and looked like it had been sitting on the grill since the Superbowl last night. My order consisted of Monday specials, 1 Smashburger with tots and 1 Mushroom and Swiss Double Smashburger with tots. The buns on both were beyond burnt. Why serve me that when you can look and see that you blackened the buns?? That alone is enough to ruin any burger, but all of the hamburger was burnt until crispy also. My hubs Swiss cheese looked like tortilla chips on his burger. This brings me to the tots, they were tater nots unless you want to break a tooth. Fried and refried tots? Maybe. There was no potato left in them, it was crispy balls of grease. When I squeezed one, it exploded all over the living room carpet. Thanks Ruby Tuesday, I've been a loyal customer since you've been open, for decades. Tonight, you lost my business. I can't believe someone sent that out of the kitchen. I can't recommend your business when food comes out of your kitchen with zero pride or standard by anyone on staff. I did order the salad bar to go with both Smashburgers, and even that was disappointing today. Three out of four of the lettuces were brown, wilted, or slimy old. Got into town late and decided to stop in here. The place was dead! We found out very quickly why. Service was slow and not very friendly. The food was cold when it came out. I got fries and they looked like it was the last of the fries. Not one whole fry in the very small amount that was given. I took my daughter last week and definitely will not be back. We went for the $10 burger/fries and salad bar special. The burger was SO small like I'm not even sure it was 1/4lb it was smaller than McDonald's. And very overcooked I'm assuming because it's so small it only takes 4 minutes to cook. My daughter got the $18 chicken meal. It was just Okay. It had probably a normal 6 ounces of chicken but the sides were pathetic. Her rice didn't even come up to half the ramekin bowl it was probably 2 ounces of Rice. For $18 it was a pathetic meal. The salad bar had also been disappointing. It only had grapes, no other fresh fruits, which they used to have tons of fresh fruit on it. It was completely out of ranch. I did tell the woman, but it didn't get refilled while I was there. And they were just nowhere near as many options as I used to be. Considering to have that alone as a mule is $12.99 that's ridiculous. We spent $45 and I left hungry. I definitely won't be returning as the amount of food you get was definitely not worth what you spent. The server was lovely. It was apparently her first week. She did well nothing amazing but she was fine. However, the company itself has made some poor choices about food, quality and pricing so we won't be back. I don't write many Yelp reviews, but after seeing all the hate that this particular location received, I felt compelled to speak up about my dine-in experience. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit, and would come back again if we lived in the area. Food: Salad bar was 5/5 - my husband and I particularly enjoyed the mixed greens. Every item was fully stocked, and I observed multiple employees maintaining the salad bar while I was there. My husband and I got the same main course (some kind of meat-baked penne), and it was delicious. My husband ate his entire meal, and I was full after eating half of it. Service: This is where the place really shined for my husband and I - our waitress was fantastic. She was very sweet, and ensured our drinks were always full without us having to chase her down. She was just really on top of everything, and came to our table proactively multiple times to make sure that we had what we needed. The manager even came by at one point to make sure everything was taken care of. Ambiance: This is the weakest point of the restaurant, unfortunately. Some of the reviews mention a sewage smell, and I can say that this place had no odor whatsoever. Our table was clean, but the floors could've used some vacuuming. 4 stars The all you can eat salad special for $5 at Ruby Tuesday is a winner to me. The margaritas we ordered were too sweet. I watered mine down. I took my friend for a belated birthday lunch here. I had a glitch with my gift card here but it worked out okay in the end. Lisa was a great server and got it fixed. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of how sweet and kind the waitress, Alex, was. But the food... was absolutely horrible. I got sick later that night and my dad bit into a chicken sandwhich that was RAW... I'm shocked he didn't get sick. My mom's sandwhich was overly salty, the waitress told us there was a new guy in the back that's a cook, well he needs to learn how to cook chicken. The craziness.. Since Ruby Tuesday is the only other restaurant closest that sells ribs and was open, my husband asked me to go out on a limb and order from here. As reluctant as I was, I did it but the food wasn't the issue. He waited an extra 20 plus minutes once we got there to pick up. We didn't leave home to go pick it up until the pickup time because to-go's are NEVER ready on time from here. I ordered at 8:08. It said it would be ready by 8:20. We didn't leave until almost 8:50. My husband stated that he witnessed several employees walking around with plates up to their mouths eating which is highly unusual. Even the person that waited on him had a mouth full of food. You could hear other staff in the back talking loud and cursing. Very unprofessional and rude. He got into the vehicle screaming saying, "idgaf if we have to go back across town to get ribs from P'Body's, we will not be coming back to this mf!! Food better be worth it because this is the last time coming back here!" I'm not very big on second chances but he seemed to somewhat like it here and this is what he comes back to the vehicle and says. I know why we said so long ago we'd never come back to this ruby Tuesday and once again proved us right. Wife's chicken Mac n cheese came out with a hair sitting on top of her chicken. When the waitress noticed us removing the hair she offered to have it remade. I knew that was gonna be a joke. All they did was reheat the chicken. The pasta and bowl ice cold. Chicken steamy hot. What makes it comical is the waitress boasting how they made her a "Fresh Plate" couldn't have been further from the truth. Our server was great! 2 of 3 items ordered had to be remade. The nachos were completely wrong and the burger (ordered med. rare) was raw and cold.One came out fine after another 20 minutes. However, nachos shouldn't take nearly that long. The other was a burger. It came out super well done. Again, 20 minutes is too long!! Lunch took about 1 1/2 hours - waitress was very busy on her phone and chatting with friends. Husband ordered ribs and they were black and completely inedible. He did enjoy the salad bar. I ordered the appetizer of potato skins - precooked and warmed - there were 7 and 5 left as NO ONE would eat them. Son ordered fish and he said it was decent. Grandson ordered the chicken on kids menu and it was decent. Chips and salsa were very good. Would not recommend this place. I mean who has 1 1/2 hours to spend on lunch? The customer service at this location Is fantastic. Everyone from the hostess to the kitchen staff were great, to include our server. Our food was great and plentiful, we enjoyed the salad bar, which was fresh and not old. i don't feel like the shrimp are jumbo but it's fine. The one thing about this restaurant is the funky smell when you walk in. It's not a pleasant smell and we almost were turned away due to it. It smells gross and it's at the entrance by the salad bar. Worst experience of my life the people who work there suck completely! Asked for things multiple times to never receive it. The waiter had a full attitude with us from the start! The greeter was also rude and had air pods in his ear! The vibe was so off to! I ordered the Hickory Bourbon Chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli which was delicious and savor. my starter was the coconut shrimp, which was great, I also ordered a Mai Tai which was on par. On top of this, the experience with the staff was phenomena. my server did excellent and as did the others who served me and checked up on me. I also enjoyed they way of paying for my meal, was beyond convenient. I say they're not only doing great but running a tight ship there. The ambiance of the establishment is exquisite. My dive tribe was hungry after diving all day at Pennyroyal Scuba Center. So we stopped by Ruby Tuesday in Clarksville, TN for the post dive meal. This happened to be my first sit down restaurant in months. I gotta tell ya things have change so much after covid 19. Of course they had no salad bar BUT they did have great side salad to go with our meal. They made up for all the changes with there A-1, excellent service. They were SO nice to us. Not sure why the reviews are so poor. My fiance and I went for lunch on Saturday 2/20/16 as I had a coup for buy one get one 50% off. I was slightly hesitant due to the reviews but on facebook they do fine so.... We were greeted and sat promptly by a nice young gal. Kimberly was our server and she went above and beyond when I asked if it was possible to get the steamed broccoli w/o butter or oil. Kimberly went to the kitchen to check and thankfully they were in the process of preparing the bags and therefore I got to have mine deliciously steamed w/o anything added. I do however think the fat saved on that was added to my grilled salmon.. oy vey The salad bar was well stocked and the only lackluster item was the zucchini- it was rather dry- perhaps from the day before? To sum it up- Kimberly is a great server- no complaints about customer service, the food is good and if they lighten up on the butter/oil for the grilled salmon, I'd give them 5 stars. read more

Ok the menu has changed a little since I have been there. And there is more variety then before. I have been in several time and they have a little something different past there normal menu most of the time. I suppose it is a out frequency. During the day it seems too dark in there for me. During the evening the lighting is good. The decor needs an update in my opinion. Otherwise the place is very normal and plain looking. Food... my wife and I had the chicken fajitas. My chicken had some burn spots on it that I couldn't chew through. It was just a little bit but that sticks in your mind, you know. It tasted good and the vegetables were cooked well. We also got the salid bar. Their salad bar is great. I think it is probably the best in town. Service.. our server was quiet. And she did not come around much. Not that we really needed anything. She visited our table four times and one of those was to give us the check. Last but not least, price.... It's taken me a couple of weeks to update because I was really torn between lowering it even further. But I really hate to be that cruel, considering at least the waitress was very friendly. Both my husbands tilapia and daughters shrimp were disgusting; Chewy and tasted off. My Cheeseburger was ok but the fries were also hard and tasted like they'd been cooked in old grease. I just can't keep wasting money every six months or so just because it's located so close and is one of the supposedly nicer sit down restaurants here for family.
