The other 2 came with the meals. Also we had a party of 5. Three meals came out first and the other 2 meals came out when the first three people were finished eating. Those last two meals were cold. The pizza that was ordered had to be the worst pizza we ever had. Awful timing for guests coming to eat dinner together. I don't like to ever do negative reviews, however for a meal that cost over $150 you would expect to be satisfied with the food and service. We were not. To eat, I ordered the Meat Lover's Triple Meat Omelet, with homefries and white toast. My server put in the order, and yet it took a bit long to arrive. Other customers who arrived after me received their orders before mine arrived. When my order finally arrived. It looked good. They put cooked peppers and onions on top of my homefries just as I requested. The american cheese melted inside with the bacon, country sausage & ham, however the amount of meat was little compared to other places where I've had breakfast before and the price was almost double. The ambiance of the place was relaxing, and the breakfast tasted good, but just good, not great, so I wouldn't mind having breakfast here again, but I wouldn't call it a favorite place to have breakfast.

We loved that the first ones were complimentary, and honestly, charging about a dollar each if you want more afterward isn't bad at all. They were good enough that I could see ordering extras. And Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in the Valley View area of Roanoke, Virginia, is a perfect example. After receiving an email from Cheddar's corporate office wishing me a Happy Birthday and inviting me to dine at their restaurant near me and receive a Free Dessert such as their Legendary Monster Cookie, I decided to go and accept their kind offer. Almost immediately after I was seated, my server Tabitha approached with a plate filled with two of their famous Honey Butter Croissants that looked amazing and tasted even better. To dine I had a hard time choosing from their extensive menu with colorful photographs of their main dishes. But I finally decided to have their Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms: Two grilled chicken breasts with honey dijon and sautéed sliced mushrooms over rice, with the two sides of a House Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing and Buttered Off-The-Cobb Corn. Not only were the portions very generous but the chicken was tender and juicy, a reflection of its high-quality and being perfectly grilled. And the sautéed mushrooms gave it such a wonderful taste that I made the commitment right then and there, to return more often to dine there. When the time came for the "Grand Finale" dessert, I chose their Legendary Monster Cookie, whom the manager himself ordered it for me while he kindly was visiting my table and receiving my wonderful feedback of my current dining experience. I used to work in restaurants and can tell when someone really wants to make your visit a great one. Tammy was pleasant and welcoming. She seated us in a room where it was out of the way of foot traffic and less noisy. There were several folks in our group with developmental disabilities and it was never requested but she knew instinctively how to help. The whole time she was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. She was spot on in every way. We will definitely return with our group and we hope Miss Tammy will be there on our Saturday outings.
