I ordered the seafood trio over grits, salmon, butterfly shrimp, and lump crab and OMG!!!!! those grits were everything! They were so creamy they didn't even taste like grits in a good way. The flavors all came together perfectly and honestly danced on my palate. I usually have to add a little seasoning when I eat out, but not here everything was seasoned perfectly. No extra at home seasoning needed! I also got the 10-piece wings and fries. First of all, I love that I can get all flats, yes, there's a small upcharge, but I don't even care because I don't do drums! The fries are just regular fries, not even seasoned or curly, but somehow they are SO good. I didn't need ketchup or anything. Overall, this is already one of my favorite spots. Thankfully they did, and I headed over to pick up my order. A few years ago, parking was much easier because there was a parking lot available. Since then, the lot was purchased along with the daycare next door, so parking is definitely more challenging now. Street parking is limited, which is probably my biggest complaint. Luckily, I was only running in to grab my food. The gentleman who is usually there is always accommodating and friendly. I don't know his name, he may be the owner but he has consistently provided great customer service every time I've visited. I ordered the liver with rice and beans and gravy. One thing I absolutely love is the amount of onions they put on the liver. If you're an onion lover like I am, you'll appreciate that!! My only suggestion and it's not a deal breaker at allis that I wish the liver was sliced thinner and cut into smaller pieces. That's how I prepare it at home because I find it stays extra tender that way. To be fair, the liver here is never tough, and it's always cooked well. I just personally prefer thinner slices and smaller pieces, so next time I'll probably ask if they can prepare it that way. I do think the restaurant could improve the atmosphere. The building feels older, and when you walk in there is a musty, damp smell that can be a bit of a turnoff. It seems like an older building that has been updated over the years, but I think adding air purifiers, better ventilation, or something to freshen the space would make a big difference in the overall dining experience. Now let's talk about the price. The last time I ordered was quite a while ago, so when they told me it was $24, I almost passed out! But I was already there, hungry, and craving liver, so I paid it. Once I got home, I saw that I had about two and a half pieces. While $24 isn't something I'll spend every week, it's definitely worth it when I'm craving liver and don't feel like cooking it myself. They also have a dine-in area if you'd rather eat there than take your food to go. Overall, the food was good, the service was friendly, and Moonlight continues to be one of the few places where I can reliably find liver when I'm craving it. I'll definitely be back and next time I'll be asking for my liver sliced a little thinner and cut into pieces so that I don't have to spend time doing that while my food is getting cold.

That's good business.......prompt service. How was the food? As a person who grew up on authentic West Indian cuisine, I know good food when I see it.
