No I do like french fries but I never been big on gourmet fries. But I decided to try this place and I fell in love with the cheddar and steak fries. These fries are created and served by kind, considerate and talented chef(s). These are not the kind of fries you can just pick up with your fingers, you definitely need a fork, and the portion sizes are totally satisfying. I do have one complaint and that is as a handicapped person. I would have liked to have seen a space or two in some sort of parking area reserved for folks going here. If such a thing does exist, I didn't see it. I moved from a city full of food trucks, so the concept is one that I'm super familiar with and also happen to super enjoy! To find a variety of trucks parked in one place is a dream come true, so I was really excited about my first visit. Imagine my surprise when the first thing I spied was a full bar in a brick-and-mortar space. Cool! I didn't participate this time, but I know I will the next. Food trucks are parked mostly close together with a couple being around a couple turns, so slightly hidden from view. I enjoyed the camaraderie of the seating area (picnic tables only), watching the bocce players, and listening to the live music. I was there during daylight hours, but would love to return some evening to sit under the party lights and the stars.

They were pretty busy, which I generally take as a good sign, but I had to wait about 10 minutes for my burger. Not bad of a wait really. They called my name and presented me with my burger and fries. It looked great! I hurried by to my office, eating the delicious fries along the way. They were crispy, hot, salty, with just enough chives that you knew they were there but they didn't overpower. I dug into the burger as soon as I sat down. It was fantastic! The burger was cooked to a perfectly pink medium. The bacon jam was amazingly flavorful! I have no idea what burger sauce is but it was great. The lettuce and tomatoes were nice and fresh too. The sesame bun was nicely toasted and the cheddar cheese was nice and melty. I liked that the bun held up well and didn't fall apart while I was eating it. I was in burger heaven! I sure hope this food truck will come by regularly. The rest of their sandwiches sounded great too and I can't wait to try them!

I've never had that combination before. The tzatziki sauce, onions, tomato and gyro meat on a 1/2 lb burger was delicious!! The seasoned fries were perfectly seasoned that I didn't eat them with any ketchup. The friendly server explained that it would take a few minutes for the food, but to me it was definitely worth the wait. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!!

But now that I've had Double Dub's in my life all other wings are nothing compared to them. The wings are perfectly cooked and dripping with sauce. Big juicy wings that there are plenty of meat on so you don't feel like you're not getting what you paid for. Service is always super fast, and I appreciate that they give you pagers so you don't have to keep track of when your food is supposed to be done or be standing around waiting but the truck. I like that they stuck with the theme throughout the naming of their sauces, the different meals that are offered, and the decor of their truck. The staff has always been super nice and helpful for answering questions. Also this is the only establishment I've found where I will order the fries every single time over the tater tots. I've had their tater tots and they're perfectly good tater tots, but Double Dub's does something to their fries that makes me want to get a job there just to know how they're made and seasoned. I dream of both their wings and fries, and I may have a new final last meal now that I've discovered the wonder that is Double Dub's.

The wings were cooked perfectly with a good wing to sauce ratio. The fries were also excellent- think crack fries! The food truck staff were all very friendly. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.

Since this is an authentic Italian restaurant, they don't serve ranch with their pizza, which I completely understand. I personally love a good ranch with my pizza, but that's just my preference. The Caprese salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pasta ball appetizer was delicious. Between the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and getting to watch everything come together, this was one of my favorite dining experiences in Milwaukee. I will definitely be back.

This place exceeded expectations with a specialty of neopolitan pizza from a brick oven it truly is great! I would also recommend their cocktails which are just as good as the food. We also enjoyed their special pasta and the eggplant fries. Everyone was silent during dinner as they were busy enjoying. We also enjoyed our server who engaged with us entered great conversations and made tremendous recommendations. We loved the Friday night atmosphere as well make sure to grab a reservation.

The city of Milwaukee has been lacking a good fresh hand rolled bagels for years. There have been a few options available but they just don't taste that amazing. The chain spots and other places were just kind of the quick fix or fast solution to my bagel craving. Rubys bagels is absolutely amazing! her classic line up is hard to beat and you can really taste the freshness. Just the fact that I can wake up and get a fresh bagel right at 7:30 pretty much every day except for Mondays is pretty amazing. They also carry Colectivo coffee which pair is perfectly with her bagel lineup. Also Ruby and her staff are always very welcoming and greet me with a good morning which is so awesome. Waited 25-30 minutes for 2 bagels with cream cheese while being the only customer waiting outside. After waiting 20 minutes I asked for a time estimate and was informed the order wasn't even started yet and that it would be a few more minutes.
