We had a wonderful lunch at Ruby Peak. Great cook. Healthy and fresh food. We'll go there again when we're in the area.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by shelves stocked with an impressive selection of high-quality organic groceries, fresh organic produce, bulk foods, herbs, teas, and natural supplements. Whether you're looking for gluten-free options, vegan staples, or hard-to-find items like salt-free snacks or specialty bulk grains, they have it all. (We definitely are not vegan but it's there with everything else) The focus on organic and locally sourced products really shines through, making it easy to shop guilt-free and support sustainable, healthy choices. This is our first choice when looking for organic food in Union County. Buying and consuming organic food has improved our quality of life. The largest life hack I can share is to stop eating processed garbage food. Eat real food and know what you eat is actually good for you. Everything you consume does affect your health. Also consider fresh milling your grains and make your own bread. It's easy and you can make bread for weeks by freezing half loafs. The smoothie bar is pretty cool as well.

I'm disappointed that andy's market has essentially "sold out" to giant corporate interests. A…read moregrocery store built on the premise of healthy options now sells mostly main stream junk food products from the mega corporation Pepsico which uses very manipulative advertising and false claims. Their cereal is mostly sugar based, same effect on the brain as cocaine and proven to cause brain rot. There are few to no organic options I buy such as hummus, cereal, chips, non sweetened fruit, bread, unprocessed protein options, and milk. Personally I don't like being "served", I think required politeness and civility hurts workers by emotionally enslaving them and isn't authentic to the history of the products, how they are made, and what they really are. Instead of processing the history of products they are selling empty emotional transactional "vibes" essentially trying to emotionally own the transaction. Payment shouldn't be a value The bulk food section is an option with a wide selection though not as many organic options as I'd prefer. The vitamin selection is adequate though I'd prefer to buy medicinal tinctures in larger quantities than available. The vegetarian processed food is too expensive to buy on a budget, non organic, and have way too much oil and salt in them. Most of the brands sold are lecherous and emotionally manipulative. I know they are trying to process their "biblical" beliefs but "killer" bread, "love" cereal, "gold" milk, "Morningstar" vege food, is just garbage.

Upon checking out, we were greeted by one of the most confrontational, combative and accusatory checkout associates I've ever experienced. Every one else in the store by the way was very nice. You will recognize this associate by his terribly disheveled hair, if he hasn't been fired already. It started with me not placing my items in the proper side of the checkout counter. There was no sign as to where to place the items, and it easily could have been either side. He very nastily said "put them on the other side". No problem, I did. Then he also nastily asked "do you have a bag"? I said no, and is that an Idaho law? We are in from out of town I said very friendly. He then said nasty tone again, Go grab a box over there (as he pointed). He proceeded to kinda lecture me about store policy and saving the earth or whatever his opinion was. I am for that, it is the way he said everything. Very condescending, as if I'm an idiot. Ironically, I'm the one on a 3 month vacation staying at 5 star hotels and he is bagging groceries. Our time together continued, where he rang up 3 items incorrectly, he missed the yellow discount sticker marking down the item several dollars and was not happy about making the correction. He did make that correction though. He did not advise us to sign up for discounts by just putting our phone number in, so one item rang up $2 more, so I went back to the item shelf and took a picture of the lower price, I showed it to him, and he argued that I took the item from the wrong shelf and that it rang up correctly, he argued quite a bit about in front of another very nice customer who was selecting the same item to purchase as I did. The other customer confirmed the price and even said "that's why I bought it too". He argued again with me and finally said "oh you're not a customer who signed up for the program they have. Well, I won't have to worry about the program ever again, because I will never shop at that store again. I hope management reads this review and realizes the damage one person can do to a brand. Most people in Idaho have been over the top friendly, this guy must be from New York City or LA. Hopefully he works his way out of bagging groceries and his attitude improves.
