I have had my hair done by Laleh a few times already and her service is top notch. She is very skilled with color and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Also the cut is to die for! I can say with confidence, that if I'm coming in to see Laleh, I'm going to leave with beautiful flawless hair. Her highlights are perfection, even when I've neglected my hair to a criminal degree and let my roots grow out inches past their sell-by date. I came in today, with shame over how bad I'd let my hair get(don't judge too much, camping, swimming, and a ridiculously busy schedule is bad for lightened hair but even with that I should have come in earlier to make her life easier lol). She tisk-tisked at my hair and made me promise to be better about maintaining my colour and trims. She and another stylist remarked that it would be very difficult to try and match the faded colour with a new one and have it be seamless. After a very patient four hours, she managed to make my hair healthy, golden bright and gorgeous. With no lines or missing connections to the roots. I am so impressed and grateful to her. She was a referral to me from a mutual friend, a friend I cannot thank enough. This is my third colouring session with her, and by far the best. Thank you Laleh. I've been going to Beki for I-tip extensions over the past 9 months. She's always been kind,…read moreaccommodating, and genuinely sweet- she even helped me out last minute after a bad haircut earlier this year, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I've had ongoing issues with the quality and installation of the extensions. I was told the hair was high-quality European hair and sourced from the same supplier that top salons use, but in my experience, it didn't seem to be. The extensions tangled constantly, felt extremely dry and brittle, and were always breaking off even with daily moisturizing and careful maintenance. They also didn't hold styling for more than 24 hours. I often had to detangle them multiple times a day, and they became so matted after one event that I had to remove them myself after a hired hair stylist couldn't even detangle them. Each new batch of hair and install cost $1,500+, and I went roughly every 6-8 weeks for a $500+ move-up. I was replacing the extensions every 18-24 weeks, which I now realize is much more frequent than high-quality extensions should require. The beads were not installed in uniform rows- they were placed randomly across my scalp, including on the crown, which made them visible and limited how I could wear my hair. I went to another stylist for a second opinion, and she pointed out that the hair had 3-4 inches of split ends even though it was only about a month old. She also mentioned that the strands looked much thicker than my natural fine hair and might not actually be Remy or cuticle-intact. I also had ongoing color match issues. The sets were consistently too light and warm for my natural tone, which was especially noticeable on camera (my job requires me to be on camera frequently). To compensate, I had to repeatedly dye and tone my own hair to match the extensions. I eventually paid for professional toning because the warmth and lightness still didn't match. I don't believe Beki is intentionally misleading anyone- she's a lovely person and I think she means well. But I do feel the hair quality, color matching, and installation methods weren't worth the cost, especially considering how quickly the extensions deteriorated. I'm sharing this to help others make an informed decision. I wish Beki all the best and hope she looks into improving the quality of the hair she sources and the installation and color matching process, because her kindness and customer care deserve to be matched by better results.

I ended up getting two "root smudges" and bangs trimmed by Liel and I really liked the color - hooray for smudges! The price seemed fair and even though she was a little slow to respond/schedule/confirm the first time, the second time she was very accommodating to my very last minute request, and to me, that more than made up for the first slow time around. However....when I tried to schedule a third appointment on July 23rd, it turned into days and weeks of confusing texts (the most recent I received today) that quite frankly got a little personal and unpleasant I think Balayage by Liel would be so much better with a more efficient scheduling system, and by keeping the communication with me, the client, more professional and respectful. Based on my poor customer experience, and my current hair withstanding, I would not recommend Balayage by Liel to my friends or family. With damaged hair and growing roots, time is of the essence, and when it comes to customer service, I don't think it's right to speak to a customer (who only wants to book your good services!) in an ill-tempered way. But I have to give credit where it's do! I liked the color and maybe if it wasn't a 110 degree summer the smudge would've lasted longer and I wouldn't have bleach blonde next to dark roots (for the record I am naturally blonde but there is such a stark line between the dye and natural color ). I liked that Liel introduced me to "root smudges" which I think are a brilliant solution to rooted blondes everywhere! And the salon (albeit empty with no refreshments offered) was clean and pretty with lots of light I wish Liel nothing but the best and I hope this review will be helpful!

I decided to attempt to do my own hair and absolutely botched it. I had a holiday party this weekend so I immediately texted Michelle to ask if she could squeeze me in. Being the amazing human being that she is, she managed to squeeze me in to fix my mishap. Upon arrival, I was let into the building by security and they told me where she was located so I went up. I was met by the adorable little pom Hope! She was the cutest and most loving little thing, so that put me at ease. Michelle then met with me and we went over my hair madness. Thankfully it was salvageable and so she got to work! She hand-painted all the patchy areas to make sure she could even it out. Once she rinsed all the product, I could immediately tell we were on the right track. She showed me some color and I picked what I wanted and she worked her magic! After a good rinse, a mask, and a blow-dry, I WAS IN ABSOLUTE AWE AND SO IN LOVE. I immediately knew I would leave an ecstatic customer. She was so sweet and hyped me up with kind words and compliments and I was just soooo beyond excited to show my new hair off to my friends and family. Michelle made sure to offer color depositing shampoos and conditioners to maintain the beautiful color she left me with. Of course, I'm like YES please!! Give me all the goodies to get me looking this awesome. She completed the process, I paid up, and headed off. I had to wait a few hours to show off my new look since she tirelessly worked a late-night just to get my hair done, which I greatly appreciated.
