I'm a stickler when it comes to vibrations. What I mean by this is when a tire and wheel aren't balanced right, you get tiny vibrations at highway speeds. All wheels and tires are not perfectly round. It takes a skilled wheel balancer to get them "zeroed" out. Taking it to another level, I also love wheels like a fancy woman loves nice shoes. Many times, installers don't put *care* into ensuring that when mounting a wheel w/ tires (shoes), it doesn't scratch the rim part or just about any other area where it contacts the mounting machine. So guys like me will pay good money for vibration free balancing sans scratches/nicks just as I had brought the set to the installer. I ended up calling ROW as the first Tire Rack recommended installer totally scuffed up three of my new wheels sourced at Tire Rack. Having no faith in this Tire Rack recommended national chain, I bought a second set of wheels and selected ROW (another Tire Rack recommended installer - crossed fingers). A nice guy named Moses came by my place to dismount, remount and balance a set of truck tires on the 2nd set of new Tire Rack wheels. End of day, Moses parted the waters and got the job done. You will pay for the extra care (hourly rate), but I'll gladly walk away with my unscuffed, nicely balanced shoes. If you don't care about these sorts of details, then move along. If you do, then give ROW a try. Now the true test moving forward is if something isn't done to my satisfaction, how will they respond? As attentive as they would chasing a new customer? I had a flat today and was scrolling on my phone and ran across this business. I called and spoke with Ethan and he was a great deal of help with working out my situation. It only took an hour until Beto showed up to where my truck was. I left my location and when I was on my way back, Beto got there before me and began to work on it ASAP. I had no idea a service like Rubber on Wheels even existed until I got a flat tire in our driveway. I called in the morning and less than 5 hours later, Brian navigated our very windy roads and crazy hills in Laguna Beach and took care of two tires in 30 minutes. I felt horrible because parking and getting around can be a bit tricky ie: we had to lift the back door of his truck multiple times so neighbors could get through the street. Took my car yesterday to firestone to fix my tire but they said they can't fix it because it is run flat tire. They were just trying to sell me a $500 tire. I was not able to move my car because stupid firestone just removed nail and didn't fix my tire so my tire got worse. I am glad I was able to find Rubber on Wheels. It was hard to find a mobile tire company that would service my area. I had a complete flat tire that I did not realize as I hadn't use my car during quarantine. I was unable to bring my car to a tire store as my tire was completely flat. Found a flat on the rear of my motorhome. I called Rubber on Wheels and Jason said he would send someone ASAP. That he did. The very next day Moises and Jeremiah ( new employee ) showe up. The looked at my problem and geve me the solution. While inspecting my other tires they found that the front were 7 years old and were badlyt checked. I had a few in the rear that were also quesionable. Concerned for our safety Moises gave me options and suggestions. No high pressure just fact. The deal on all new Toyo tires was great. Moises and Jeremaih got to work , replaced the tires, new valve stems and balance bags. They were friendly, professional and did an excellent job. Even with the rain dumping on them.
