Called Jason to get a quote. He asked me my location and referred me to Micro Tire in Winchester. Thought that was a bit weird as Rubber on Wheels is supposed to be a mobile service and I live maybe 45 minutes away, and 6 months earlier when I called him for a quote my location was no problem. Spoke then with Micro Tire (see review) and guy said he would call back with quote. Never heard from him. Then called Jason at Rubber on Wheels back to get a quote. He never called me back. This is another mobile company that does GREAT work! I had them come by to replace tires on 2 Vehicals and the down time was about 15 min per Vehicals. I can't tell you how much a difference it is not having to wait 2 or 3 hours at the local tire shop for one vehical. Not to mention one set of tires was out of stock at all the local tire stores but they were able to locate the exact size and come by early the next morning. Now cost was a big SURPRIZE!! They charge on average less per tire than you get anywhere else. They charge very little over whole sale cost and labor is very reasonable. Rubber On Wheels has the BEST customer service, especially Efrain! I popped my tire around 4:00pm on a Thursday and was stranded as I don't have a spare. I also had to be in class at 6:00pm. Unfortunately, my tires are backordered everywhere but Efrain sent me pictures of alternative tires available and was very patient explaining all of my different options. He was willing to either bring me a new tire within 30 minutes or come to my house the next day to take care of it even though he was already completely booked. He was extremely patient as I was trying to figure out what would be best and he checked in to make sure I was being taken care of. Rubber On Wheels is dishonest. Do not use them!! They overcharged me for a set of horse trailer tires. I had to remind them of what they said then they adjusted it. I figured it was a mistake ... So then they installed a set of RV tires for me. They charged me more than stated per tire but I didn't notice because turns out they overcharged me again per tire by an additional $50 per tire. They then notified me I was not charged for 2 tires. Due to them twice changing the price per tire I asked for an invoice. They waited until I was leaving the country in a few hours to send it. I said I would check it when I got back. When I returned I made myself late to another business trip to check it. It was true they did not charge for 2 tires though I was over charged in all of them. The owner Jason said he was going to take it out of the installers pay, so I let him know I would leave a check & he could arrange with my assistant to get it. Instead he arranged to steal 2 of the tires!! I notified him they had been taken. I realized he didn't respond when I told him where to find the check. He knew exactly how many tires were gone. I never told him. Not only that - he knew exactly how they were taken. He even sent a YouTube video!! This company was responsible for breaking into a locked yard to steal tires they didn't have a right to take. They damaged my rims and cost me countless hours to fix this. Then Jason had the audacity to lie about it and after I tossed him about not asking for the check he said "Oh yeah the check would be nice". He is a thief and a liar and he does not deserve your business. There are other mobile tire companies. The new one actually charged me what I should have been charged per tire by Rubber On Wheels. My family and I were stuck on the shoulder of the 5 freeway on a Sunday with two flat tires on our travel trailer due to a malfunctioning spike strip at San Clemente SB. I called multiple tire shops. All were closed or not answering. I called Rubber on Wheels and they were very upfront about the fact that this would be a special service call since they were essentially closed. They even offered up the names of companies that might be open, but no luck. I needed my front left tire replaced due to running something over late at night. It went flat immediately and of course it stressed me out with being inconvenienced.
