I wish I could upload a video to show you guys. But I had such a good time here. The staff is so friendly and ready to help you at any point. Ou can bring your own ammo if you have a gun or rent on site. We had such a great experience with the staff helping when the gun got jammed. They even watched my form and the staff was able to let me know how I could improve my shot and stance giving really great advice. The lanes were socially distances and spaced out making me feel really safe. The ammo is a little expensive but that is expected. You do have the option to bring your own as well. They have so many different types of targets as well. I love that they had zombie options which were fun. I would recommend and will be coming back. We did bring our own firearm so I am not sure how the rentals work. The staff is friendly they are there to answer all your questions. When purchasing a firearm they are also super helpful with seeing exactly what works for you and answer all your questions and never make you feel rushed or pressure to purchase. Which is important I don't like feeling rushed. Anything you need you can find right there from firearms, ammo, cases, cleaning sets etc. thanks for making my experience awesome you will be seeing more of me and my family. read more

I took the Holster class today with a friend and it was great! Randolph RTSP is my home range so this was my first time in Union. The staff was friendly and fast for check in despite the large crowd. Vincent went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed for class. The instructor Mike was super knowledgeable and made me very confident in holster draw, he even spent some time correcting my trigger discipline which greatly improved my shot, and ladies he's easy on the eyes too ;) Well worth the almost hour drive to take the class. Highly recommend this range. read more

This is my husband's 3rd time coming here in less than 2 months. We were a group of 5, with myself and 3 other novices. We were blown away at how professional and courteous everyone was. I was scared to even hold a gun for the first time, but the instructors truly make you feel at ease. I am now looking forward to my next trip. The indoor facility is large and clean and even has a a cafe area. I thought pricing is more than fair. You can bring or buy your own guns and amo, targets and other equipment. read more

50 yard range which is cool if you have rifles. But the range seemed kind of outdated to me. No lights in the ports so it was hard to see sights (just bought fiber optics sights and wanted to test them under the lights, and couldn't really see them). Staff was nice and range officers were cool. Randolph has a nicer range. Reloaderz in Wayne is definitely more state of the art. read more

I was 90% ripped off by this place. Let me begin by saying that I've had two satisfying visits at the Randolph location. When I knew that the second location opened in Union, I couldn't be more excited because that would cut my travel time a lot as I live in NYC. On February 1st 2020, my buddy and I went to the range. With about 39 minutes left range time a RSO called a cease fire because the ventilation system shut down. An empty lane was unavailable and the gun range would not extend operating hours for us. At that time that whole side (the one closer to the entrance with sliding doors) of the range was full and even one of the parties there just arrived when they called the cease fire. I immediately thought of how am I going to get a refund from this situation. My friend and I were both given a voucher of an hour free range time. My friend was just visiting the States which made me feel so bad when we were only able use 30 of the 100 9mm bullets we bought. He gave me his voucher. The RSO assigned to us told me that they would stored I have until the 15th of Feb to comeback and use them. Hence on the 14th I comeback with my wife this time. Its around 9pm and I wasn't expecting to get to shoot. My wife signs up and I ask some question who was at the second station (was at the computer right in front of the coffee shop) and this is where it gets FISHY/CORRUPT. I don't have names but i know the time and locations in the store where thus stuff happened. If anyone cares they can roll the cameras. I inform the gentleman of the circumstances of my previous visit. When I bring up the situation that my bullets were stored in the range his face kind of turns funny. He then tells me something within the lines of "They might not be there anymore" and "The officers might have used them already" and "It depends which caliber you have. RED ALERT, this is would be really messed up if they used still MY ammunition. I ask him to check if they are still there. I told him it was the usual 9mm bullets they sell to renters. He asked me what kind of 9mm and they are, maybe wants to throw me off by telling me what kind, not that thHe acts to write my name down but doesn't finish writing it down, takes about 3 steps to his right the tells "Yeah its there. It should be there. The only way it wont be there, I mean if it was monday" Tells us to come back in next time. 15th Sunday, Im at the range with my wife again its around 1:40pm when I reach the check in counter ready to rent and shoot. I was with another gentleman At the second computer from the left double door into the actual range. I tell him that I have bullets, he checks and they are gone. This dude cant give me a straight face sight policy or whatever law it is that gives them the legal obligation to seize my bullets. BUT did they? Or were they resold? Or were they used just like how the the previous employees slip of the tongue? Besides who would just throw OUT 70 bullets. I told him that we were just told to come back by his coworker last night. Still no straight answers to my face just mumbling to his computer. He asked me next "Rifles or Pistols" I tell him "Im skipping today". I am disappointed and very disastified with this gun range. My expenses on Feb 1st 2020 was $127 -intro class -100 9mm bullets -1 hour range time -Glock gun rental -2 target of #2 Please give me a refund so I can go to another gun range. Or better please give me an explanation. read more

After years of saying I wanted to experience going to a shooting range, my husband surprised me for my birthday by bringing me here. I had a great time! Ok, this place is really dope spacious and very modern but is really worth it? The staff was nice the greeter at the door was really helpful and chill the guy at the gun counter was very nice i was waiting on him to help me look at a new gun but was a bit busy. I did not mind waiting so i waited while i waited i decided to buy some ammo i was thinking of spending 40 to 50 the most on ammo, i bought two boxes of .40 s&w. The brand i was sold is PMC i did not get choices i was just given the ammo like i was being brushed off. Mind you i a work for DHS have the sufficient training on all types of guns semi/auto/rifles/shotgun/revolver/pistols i have Glock 47 and a 22 a twelve gauge pump action shotgun and a sig sauer. Going back to topic i usually buy them at my store that is close by for 18 dollars for a box of 50 here they charged me 35 dollars for the box, i wanted also a box of hollows and they sold me USM40 for 37 dollars for a box of 20 rounds really? They sell for 20 dollars the box! A complete rip off. Now moving on to the sales guy he was the same one that sold me the ammo i really went in to buy a new gun my budget was around $1700 i had the paper work and everything ready, but the way he brushed me off again was really big turn off and he was cutting and kind of like rushing me out so i left like i said the place is awesome spacious modern kinda like a hipster/swanky but honestly this place feels like it caters to beginners and non experienced aficionados so i guess thats why the charge what they charge. and 3 out of the 4 people i talked to were great but it only takes one bad attitude to ruin a sale. read more

Just an excellent range. I've been to many gun ranges and this is the friendliest, most professional place I have ever been to. There almost seemed as many staff on range as customers and everyone was very helpful. I rarely feel the need to write a review (this is only my 2nd) so take it from me this is a great place. I'm currently an active member at RTSP and I was appalled by the service I got from there sales team . I felt as though I was racial profiled . I went in to complete a background check for a gun that I had purchased online. I decided to look at some firearms while I waited. the sales person was a racist. I asked to look at a specific gun And he took the magazine out . I asked if I could hold it with the mag in because that's a more true representation of how the gun feels . He told me no . I didn't think much of it until I saw a fellow white customer holding a gun beside me with the magazine in . I called it out and I was told it was of the sales person discretion. so I want to know if it was because I was black . I then asked if I could see two sepa read more

It's rare for a gun establishment in NJ to not suffer from entitlement of "gun" syndrome. You know the typical entitled range that's better than everyone because they are RSOs or behind a counter in a gun range. NONE of that BS here. All love, all friendly and always accommodating. I was anti gun for 30 years till I got carjacked in 2011 and been pro gun for the past 9 years. I've never felt so proud to be a gun owner as I do In RTSP. I've only been shooting here 3 mos and it's already left quite an impression on me. It's the only range I've been to that makes me feel at home. I used to be a Cherry ridge member & EFGA member simultaneously. I also used to frequent both Bullethole and long shot for convenience. None of them compare to the safe and completely knowledgeable staff at RTSP. To all and everyone at RTSP including Anthony, George, Tom1, Tom2, Solomon, Brian, Patrick, Dave and of course Luzo. You guys are an amazing crew. I can't thank you guys enough! You guys make this place what it is. read more

We reached at 5:30. Waited almost 2 hours to get to the counter where we had to select our guns. Effectively got only 20 mins at the range including the training where the training happened for 3-4 mins and they charge 25 bucks for it. The AR15 they gave me kept locking. Very Poor Service and they wont discount the charge for less time. Too crowded. Not good for first timers. If you plan to go please go early in the morning so that you get at least 1 hour. read more

Good gun range if you like going to terrible ranges. Out of all of the ranges in the state, this place is the least enjoyable. The staff are rude and condescending though there are a slim few helpful employees. I've on more than one occasion had RSO's ask me to shoot my firearms completely unprompted. Their prices on just about everything are unreasonably high. Their "accountability" system of taking your driver's license when you go in to a port is useless because they do not pay attention enough to see you exit and return your license. I once returned the next day to pick up my license after realizing I had forgotten it and they had a stack of DL's with seemingly no care of if they were returned. I regretfully bought a membership here as I was told this would prevent me from having to give my license but "policy changes" (of which there are many and frequent) dictate that to now be irrelevant. The membership doesn't really afford you many perks and I wouldn't buy it again. Every single time I've gone here I've had at least one of the range officers waste my time by nitpicking any number of trivial things; ie: target height/size, time between shots, where you hang spare targets in the stall, etc. Furthermore, this store has been noted to support anti-2a politicians. I would not recommend going here with any level of firearms experience unless you're law enforcement as they seem to only show any respect to LEO's. The only reason I gave this review one star is because it's a reasonable distance from me and because they don't offer a 0 star review. read more

This was the first time I went to this range with my husband. I think I was last at the range about 2-3 years ago so I was looking forward to going (especially since he's raved about this place before). It's right off 22 east in Union (yep, that's right, I know you know driving on 22 can suck and people are crazy on there lol). First impression driving into the lot: the building looks modern and you can't hear anything from the parking lot. Next impression walking in: very nice! Everything is neatly laid out and there are ample signs that tell you where to go. There are two steps to complete if you've never been there 1) watch the video and 2) register. I did both while my husband checked us in. There is a decent selection so pistols and short guns so a beginner can certainly take their pick. We put our eyes and ears on and went to our assigned booth. 3rd impression: whoa to the # of range safety officers. I've honestly never seen this ratio of RSOs to customers. Just about all of the ones we chatted with were easy to talk to and they were happy to offer tips. I saw one RSO doing a demo and safety session with a group of 3 guys and he was good with them, taking time to really go through and answer questions. I know some people are intimidated coming to a gun range. It can be overwhelming and scary for many. I've been to a few other gun ranges where there would be a room full of customers and 1 RSO and/or another range where customers were loading and walking around with their pistol or long gun while not in their assigned bay. However, not once did I feel at risk or uncomfortable while there. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to others read more

The best range I have ever been at. The on-line waiver saves lots of time. Check-in is quick and easy. The range is new and very modern. The target controls are touch screen and there is a timer for the lane time. The ventilation system is top notch, I didn't ever smell the gun powder!! The range officers are very friendly, patient and keep the place super safe. The range officers keep an eye on new and rental shooters. There is room to place your range bag and stuff on a table behind the shooting lane. The tables have maglula loaders to help load your mags. There are plenty of lanes. I counted 38+ lanes. The lane rental price is same as other ranges. The whole place is very nice and welcoming. read more
