Half-hour intervals in rush hour and hour intervals otherwise could leave you waiting a long time.

It wasn't as seamless as expected. Problem one. Westminster Station has a lot of garage parking -- IF you're driving a vehicle of normal height. We, however, were in a Class B RV (which is of normal length but is tall at 9+ feet. We couldn't fit in the garage, and the on-site parking lots ALL had a 3-hour maximum stay limit. (Most of these spaces were empty, but we couldn't use them because we would need more than three hours to get to the city, walk around, and then come back. We ended up parking on a city street. Problem two. The station did not have any human staff -- to answer questions or to ensure security. Problem three. The trains to Denver were on an hourly schedule. We missed one as we were looking for parking. Similarly, we had a long wait for our return trip because we hadn't checked the schedule ahead of time. That said, the train was still convenient and reasonably priced, with drop-off near Union Station. Tickets were easy to purchase. We each purchased a one-day pass for $5.50. (Staff checked in both directions that we had indeed purchased tickets).

Uber has gotten worse and worse over time. Not only have their prices continued to go up for simple…read morerides but the drivers have become ruder, less speak even enough English to be able to appropriately help if there's an emergency (yeah kind of important) and some of the cars people drive should barely be able to be on the road. At the very least a driver needs to be able to communicate basic English (the overwhelmingly spoken language in the US) so if there's an emergency they are able to notify the proper authorities and/or assist. When you aren't able to communicate with someone, especially someone you are paying for a service and that service involves something dangerous, like driving, it not only takes away from the customer experience which has only gotten worse with uber but it does not make the rider feel safe. I've also had drivers cussing on the phone with their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife and just honestly being terrible at customer service. How are these people vetted? I've been in cars where multiple warning lights are on, there's noise coming from under the hood (not good noise) and quite frankly I have no idea how they are even on the road. One car had their child lock on the back doors, not remotely safe. Drivers who have literally been blasting their music, wildly inappropriate lyrics and loud (but I guess we don't care about common decency anymore) then when asked to turn it down I was told this is my car you can do what you want in yours. It's just gotten to a point where I'd almost rather take Lyft or a Taxi over Uber. At least with a taxi if you aren't able to communicate with them they are at least professional drivers.
