My Dr. Recommended RTA last year because my left leg especially my left knee was very weak and having excruciating pain. The front desk staff Paula was very helpful in making sure my HMO gave me the 2nd approval and this year since I have a PPO, their admin Ron made sure I was able to switch and continue the therapy and both Ron and Kristen made sure my billing is done correctly with the new Insurance. All PT staff are very professional and knowledgeable; Haley Davis has been my primary PT and she goes out of the way to tapper my therapy & exercises depending on what area of the left leg has weakness or muscle tightness. RTA has weights, a bicycle and other strengthening equipment that was not available at my previous PT which only focused on stretching. read more

What can I say about this place and the people that make this place amazing! First you have to be positive have hope. Let them know everything don't hold back, like where you hurt where your weak and where you hope to be. They will guide you push you threw it you'll get there you might be 100% after or close to it depending on you and if it's possible. The staff works with you with scheduleing rescheduling text messaging. They'll take care of you and make you feel comfortable at your pace. Tell them your input on what is working for you. They have so many different equipment to help you. They work with you. I recommend them, they communicate with each other incase your therapist isn't there they'll know what you need. Hi every one that looks for a physical therapy place in Irvin, please forget RTA physical therapy in Irvine. they can't manage the appointment timing at all and they give three patients at the same time an appointment with one therapist. They don't care at all ,why you went there. They are unprofessional and in the front desk the Asian lady is very rude and impolite with the patient. most of the therapist are stundet and they don't have enough experience. their goal is only charge the insurance and even not 45 minutes suitable exercise for patients. my appointment was with 2 another patients at the same time with only one therapist in 35 minutes and I couldn't concentrate, it was disaster. I feel real fortunate to have found RTA Tustin and Jessica. Her professionalism, knowledge, inspiration and quality of work is second-to-none. She's a good listener and as a result, her targeted treatment is very effective. In the past, I have been treated at OTHER physical therapy offices, and it's felt rushed. I have been twice to physical therapy at RTA. At first I didn't think physical therapy would help the pain in my knee all that much. But I was wrong. The treatment I get there is amazing!! The therapist is wonderful - she really knows her stuff! I do the exercises at home from the sheets they gave me until my next appointment. I broke my ankle and Derek who is one of the owners of RTA Restorative Therapy Associates based in both Laguna Hills and Irvine. Derek actually drove to my home in Laguna Beach to help fit my crutches and knee scooter to my body, gave me specific exercises I could start at home since I am unable to put weight on my broken ankle for another 3 weeks and helped my confidence level tremendously. Derek let me know over the phone that he could show me exercises and help me feel more confident getting around and I can't thank him enough for coming to my home!! I didn't think I would be able to get to work or leave the house and after he left I realized I could do all of that! He has two PT centers and 4 or 5 occupational and PT therapists who make house calls and while I am not a Medicare patient, I know they also specialize in Medicare! read more

I have been going to RTA in Irvine for various injuries in 2015. I would never go anywhere else. Derek is so knowledgeable and I have never had an injury from which I haven't completely healed, and I am a dancer. I had two hip replacements and they kept me going for years before I decided to have surgery and made sure that my recovery was swift and completely 100% Effective. I fractured my ring finger in September. The minute my doctor mentioned physical therapy, I immediately requested RTA for therapy. I received therapy in the past and received excellent care. I wasn't able to be seen right away because no openings were available, but I was totally okay with that because they are worth the wait! Today was my last session and I doubled my strength in my left hand as compared to when I first started. I hope I don't injure myself again with my crazy lifestyle I live, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back to RTA!! read more
