I came in a couple months ago weighing a lot more than I did when I got my tux. I explained to "Sal" my situation and that I was due to have surgery and getting in and fitted would be difficult. He didn't hesitate one second and took my measurements and said "come see me on Halloween. I said are you sure, is that enough time? He said don't worry, leave it to me." So I came in about 100 lighter and about five sizes smaller... and BAM... Sal nailed it! He says come back next week; and I did... and the man had looking like I came out of a magazine GQ! But my story doesn't stop there. My son, who was Koumbaro (Best Man) to his brother, got his tuxedo from another outlet with all the Groomsmen. His tux was a disaster. Jacket did not fit at all properly. The vest was a "bib". The shoes were way too tight. They told him he looked fine, but truth be told, they did not have the means to make a fuller sized man look the part. They lacked the expertise in my opinion to do it right. The wedding was less than a week away!! I reached out to Sal. My son went to him directly from the other store. Sal took one look at him... did not even measure him... said; " put this jacket on, put these pants on... try these shoes on... hold on a minute... ok, give me the shirt from the other place... a little adjustment to the sleeves of the jacket and BOOM PERFECT!!!" Sal... YOU ARE THE KING!!! I still paid that other store full price. But I would never go there again because there were many problems with the other grooms-men's tux's, but my son... he was just awesome in a much classier outfit. If you're looking for price... go shopping. If you're looking for "the best quality and service", (and a pretty good price too)... ho to Tony's Tuxedo and see Sal. A small shop, personal one on one service, fine quality and it's refreshing to not see "computers and technology" all over the damn place and just see someone that knows what he's doing and how to treat his customers. I went shopping at Omnibus to find a stunning gown to change into for my wedding day just about two…read moremonths before my actual wedding. When I arrived at Omnibus I was greeted with open arms and I felt the staffs excitement for my wedding day. They took one look at me and said I have the perfect gown for you. Well they pulled out this dazzling silky gown completely beaded and fit like a glove. I was in love and knew I came to the right place. I purchased the dress at that moment they started the process for some areas that needed a little tightening. I then came back a few weeks later and picked up my gown. EVERYONE LOVED THIS DRESS and it looked FABULOUS in photos. I went back in another time with my mother to find her the most perfect mother of the bride gown. My mother was treated as if she was their own mother and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in the gown and felt beautiful as she is. (She does not wear dresses ever) They did a fantastic job on the alterations and even made her a shawl with leftover material to make her even more happy. I asked the owner if they had sizes over a size 10. The owner assured me that they have every dress in stock, in multiple sizes. That my full figured girl could try on anything in the store, and in her size. I explained how sensitive the situation is, that if she walks into a store filled with beautiful dresses, and picks a dress she wants to try on, and it's not her size, or even close to it, how that will shatter her self esteem. We were assured that won't be the case, that they carry size 0-18. We told her what time we were coming in as well. Pulling up, my daughter could not contain her excitement. The window had beautiful gowns. She walked in and immediately went to the pink dress section. (Only 1 of each style on the floor). We asked an attendant (as we were not greeted at all when we entered), to please grab the dress she selected in a size 13. She said that they do not carry each dress in sizes over a 6. But there may be some that are a 10. I asked to speak with the owner after watching the light drain from my daughter's face. I asked if I misunderstood what she stated over the phone, and she said that I hadn't. That coming into the store, we could see what they have and then order in her size. Also that dress orders are final sale. I told her that not allowing someone to try on a dress, and blindly buy a non refundable gown ($500.00 and up), is insane. And that I was upset she lied to me to get us into the store. That it's bad businesses and body shaming. That she had shattered my daughter's day, her self esteem, and made what should have been a beautiful and memorable experience the worst. She did not apologize. She shrugged. She walked over to my daughter's fitting room. Shouted in front of other mom's (with their daughters that could easily fit into all the gowns in the store, no problem), she's a 12 on top and a 14 on the bottom. Then snapped her gums and walked away. We left the store, my daughter in tears. No apology. No resolution. She just humiliated her. She carries beautiful gowns. But so do over 100 other dress stores on Long Island. Please do not support this cruel, body shaming, lying business owner. We are women who should be building one another up. But I do not condone wickedness. This store does not deserve your business. Sadly I had to choose a star. I wouldn't have even given 1.

I've never bought a suit so we were pretty lost. Misha took over. My sons only requirement was "nothing fancy" Yes I would have loved him in a very stylish suit but he vehemently refused. Misha got it all together for him including shoes, belt, tie, shirts and even socks! We were extremely happy! She made it so much easier than we thought it was going to be. She even picked out a flashy tie to make me happy and my son gave the ok on it. All in all I can 100% recommend Karako and especially Misha. (No pics, sorry, he was just too embarrassed)

We walked in seeing a mirror of names who made appointments and my stomach dropped. I walked in asking "do I need an appointment" and the woman said yes, however we can still help you. We browsed and I tried on dresses that I envisioned myself in, mermaid dress with lots of sparkles !! The owner Carrie came in and suggested I tried on a dress .... On the hanger I knew it wasn't my type. I tried on the dress and started crying. I found it. It still had the sparkles I wanted but plain on the bottom. I SAID YES TO MY DRESS !!! Forever grateful for Carrie for welcoming me in and showing me something different. The woman (forgive me I forgot her name) who did my fittings is also the seamstress ... absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt an awkward uncomfortable unfriendly feeling (not rude, just weird), which continued throughout the appointment. I don't know the consultants names as they didn't introduce themselves. I think there was a hand full of sentences exchanged between us. One consultant was shoving dresses in the dressing room with me, which is the size of a closet, while I still had a dress on so I had to step all over them and kick the dress I took off out of the room under the curtain. I also only got to try on maybe 5 dresses as they started the appointment late but made sure to tell me I only had 8 minutes left at the end. They put the dress in a bag and handed it to me without really saying anything like they just wanted me out. I don't know if they were new or not interested because there is no commission on a free dress, but I would not recommend. I'm disappointed and jealous of all of these positive reviews by other Brides Across America brides.
