Aleksandra was great. It was easy to set up an appointment with her, was punctual, she was very knowledgeable about providing options for us, very professional, and gave us a very competitive quote. Tony removed the drapes in our family room and came back later to install the new/relined drapes. He obviously has a lot of experience with this, worked very quickly, and was also very professional. Update to owners reply: There's definitely something wrong with your business? I got another company that was very upfront and got all 10 blinds done for less than half of what you charge and your girl on the phone was trying to talk me out of it more than talk me into it. So that's a big red flag!! I could buy all new blinds for the price you charge for cleaning them, but there was always a response. We probably can't clean them??

Unfortunately, our largest blind pull string broke from frequent use and I was told that those type of cords are now banned so I cannot fix it. I worked with David and he was very helpful. He was able to find me a color that matches really well with the old blinds since the previous color was no longer available. He was also able to get me a good price that was comparable/slightly better than what I could get elsewhere. Since I still have the blinds purchased from them for over 17 years, I can attest that the quality is good. It did take some time to get the quote and then wait for the blinds to be custom made and installed but since I wasn't in a rush, the timing was fine with me. The install company that works with Budget Blinds was also easy to work with. During the install, we realized they put the wrong length cord on one of the blinds but they were able to fix it within a week or so. All in all, we are happy with the new blinds.

We're located in San Jose and received several quotes for 23 windows, but the prices elsewhere were shockingly high. After finding Blind Ambition through Reddit, we decided to take a chance and give them a call--and we are so glad we did. From the very beginning, Mark and Darryl were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us make the right decisions. Because of our busy work schedules, we couldn't visit during the weekdays, yet they went above and beyond by opening on the weekend to accommodate us. They carefully walked us through the Hunter Douglas options and drapery selections, answered all of our questions, and even provided samples for us to take home, which made a huge difference. They also offered us truly unbeatable pricing and discounts, which made the project feasible for us. After placing the order, they continued to provide outstanding service--keeping us informed on shipping timelines, coordinating directly with the installer, and handling every detail seamlessly. When one of the blinds arrived faulty, they immediately took care of it by contacting the manufacturer on our behalf, making the issue completely stress-free for us. What truly sets Mark and Darryl apart is how much they care. They treated us like family and delivered the true meaning of customer service--something that is rare these days. We wholeheartedly recommend Blind Ambition to our friends and family and will absolutely be returning customers for future projects.

Then at the HMB Pumpkin Festival this past October Bay Home & Window had a booth. We stopped, talked, and make an appointment for a consultant to come out. After a scheduling delay due to overbooking at the Festival we got an appointment. On the day of the appointment the window designer Sarah was on time. Based on our needs she made recommendations which we concurred with. Measurements were taken and an order was placed. We paid 1/2 advance. Over the next two month projected timeframe we received email updates. When our product arrived to the warehouse we received a call for installation date. This afternoon our window installer arrived within the two hour window. Robert A. He was friendly and very competent. He completed our installation in 1/2 hour. We hired a general contractor and agreed to use all of their selected subcontractors except for a small subset we insisted on selecting ourselves, including High Tech Screens & Shades. We thankfully discovered High Tech Screens via online searches, and validated them through our Windows & Doors subcontractor/reseller. (we installed the highest end Marvin Ultimates and Marvin Moderns throughout our project) High Tech (Josh and Justin) arrived as scheduled, and always on time. They assessed and installed custom screens on four of our doors, including two outswinging french doors (2 screens on each), and two single outswinging doors. High Tech's attention to detail and quality work is notable. The finishes match our door trim as desired. The function of the screens are excellent, and the screens "hide-away" from view when not in use / retracted. Further, High Tech's screens and craftsmanship are so good that we unfortunately had a worker inadvertently walk through one of them after installation (the installation was so clean he didn't see the screen). Josh and Justin found time to return to the site within 48 hours and repair the screen so that it works like new. We cannot recommend highly enough High Tech Screens & Shades. If you are looking for a professional job/installation for screens for a high-end home, they are the truly the only firm you need to consider.
