I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience at this Quest Diagnostics location…read more Today I spent over 40 minutes with a technician who was unable to correctly enter my name into the system, even though she was copying it directly from my ID. She repeatedly told me that I "did not exist" in the system. Eventually, my doctor's office had to call and spell my name letter by letter over the phone. Only then was I finally found in the system. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the technician blamed me and said it was my fault for "saying my name wrong." That is completely unacceptable. I provided my valid ID, and it is not the patient's responsibility to troubleshoot your system. What made the situation worse is that after all of this, she refused to perform my lab work and told me she would not take me today - after wasting 40 minutes of my time. This felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I left and went to another Quest location, where I was immediately found in the system and treated properly without any issues. Based on my experience and the number of similar negative reviews, it's clear this location has serious issues with staff professionalism, customer service, and basic patient handling. I strongly recommend management review staff training and behavior at this location. Patients deserve respect and basic competence.

Easy to make appointments, easy to get through and speak with a live person instead of a machine, and greeted with friendly faces and a caring team of technicians. My main reason for reviewing today is to recognize Sierra in the MRI dept. I was very stressed and did not want to proceed with the MRI about half-way through, but Sierra's warmth and true caring enabled me to complete the test. I am not sure if I would have agreed to complete the procedure if it was anyone else other than Sierra performing it. She is compassionate, professional, and has a way with the elderly. Today was the last straw, when waiting for more than 24 hours for a STAT chest CT and dealing with multiple phone calls back and forth to imaging and the ordering physician, being told to come "now" for the scan by scheduling, showing up and waiting, waiting, waiting and then being told "I'm not sure it's been authorized." More than 24 hours after it was ordered STAT. Still no scan. It's time to escalate to the accrediting body. Vero Imaging requires a serious change in leadership.
