They asked questions so I could make sure I was getting the right assessment and were able to schedule same-day! They talked me through the process and then follow-up with me on the paperwork to let me know they received it. Derek Collins worked with me on my assessments. The very best thing is he was real. It didn't feel like talking to a robot or just someone going down a list of questions. He was honest and authentic. That made me feel like it was a safe space to be honest and authentic. He listened to me. It was the perfect mix of professional mixed with human compassion and understanding. I would recommend anyone seeking any assessment to reach out to the Diversion Center immediately.

Our experience with Quad Academy has been nothing short of a nightmare. In May 2023, we provided…read morethe school with a proper written notice that our child's last day would be June 30, 2023, which is well within the required 30-day notice per their handbook. We paid the full tuition for June, but shortly after, I had to remove my child due to safety concerns. The owner agreed to a courtesy credit of $1,023.75, which was refunded to our card. However, on July 6, 2023, they made an unauthorized charge of $1,417.50 to my account despite our clear notice. When we tried to resolve this issue with the owner, she avoided our calls and emails by blocking us, leaving us with no way to communicate. Even when we attempted to contact the school directly, the administrative staff repeatedly said, "Can we take a message?" but no one ever returned our calls or emails. This left us with no choice but to move forward with serving legal papers. It's clear that the owner is trying to keep the courtesy credit of $1,023.75 by offering a partial refund of $393.75, which is far below the total unauthorized charge of $1,417.50. Despite several attempts to resolve this amicably, the school refuses to return the full amount or even communicate honestly. Additionally, the level of professionalism at this school is appalling. We received emails from the school that were sent to multiple parents in copied emails, discussing other children's behavioral issues. This breach of privacy was disturbing and unprofessional. Our child, who has always been a top scholar with high marks in Georgia, began to feel bullied and picked on by the teachers. She never experienced issues in her other academies. She repeatedly complained to us about the treatment she was receiving from the staff, which made her time at Quad Academy even more difficult. Since our experience, we've spoken with several other parents who shared similar concerns about being mistreated by the staff and having issues with the school's unprofessional conduct. It seems these problems are not isolated, and many parents have felt unsupported and dismissed by the administration. While this all took place in 2023, I am only now leaving this review because we have been unable to resolve this matter despite multiple attempts. It has taken this long due to the lack of response from the school and the need to take legal action to get the situation properly addressed. We have written proof in emails that support everything stated here, including the courtesy credit agreement, the unauthorized charge, and our attempts to resolve the issue. If you are considering enrolling your child here, I would advise you to think twice. The school's unethical behavior and unprofessional conduct are concerning, and we are now pursuing legal action. The owner's avoidance of responsibility speaks volumes about the lack of integrity this school operates with. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I strongly urge others to proceed with caution.

Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

If there was an option to leave negative stars I would, just kidding, the only thing that's holding…read moreme from doing it is the instructor in Atlanta (Shon Middlebrooks). If you're planning to get in this acting classes, STICK TO THE CLASSES AND CLASSES ONLY, do NOT engage in WAD or Lucky 7 "Convention" and definitely do not engage into extra activities, these people are money drains, and do not even care if you learn anything at all. First of all, that dude Lois Stancil, will sell you the dream of every actor, to put you in front of people who are in the media, and quite frankly, is absolutely false. Let's dig in: WAD is this scam event where they keep you for a whole day since the morning, feed you old (and possibly expired) snacks throughout the day, until the end of the day that they will give you a cold pizza... no drink...besides that, they make you memorize a script (which is fine, is part of the gig, you are an actor/actress), the problem comes when they tell you that you should get people to come see you, sell a $30+ ticket to come see you on a play, ask YOU to get props for the infamous play, and then have you perform inside the tiniest room in their building... I repeat: $30+ per ticket...the tiniest room in their building... now lets move on to: the "Lucky 7 CONVENTION" by definition, a convention is a LARGE GATHERING. where there is a showcase, an audience, and sometimes several judges... however LS acting studios big convention is actually, a gathering with mostly students, who can barely fit in a room so small, people cant even stretch out in their seats (yes, worse that Spirit Airlines if you ever flew with them), the "showcase" was rehearsed via ZOOM, over the course of 6 weeks, in which they tell you to do a monologue, a scene, and a "commercial" sample. They tell you that they will give you feedback, they won't, if they do, is not specific, they will give you a drop box and "dead lines" that they don't even respect themselves, so it kinda doesn't matter really, they don't even care... the instructors don't even follow up their own drop box instructions, for example: they tell you they want a specialty instrument video and instrumental ONLY , and when you send it, exactly as requested, they tell you it was supposed to be both singing and playing an instrument... they ask you to do your resume in a certain way, and then write in the instructions a different way, etc. In the drop box instructions we were told that if we didn't submit a video for either commercial, or scene or monologue, we wouldn't be able to perform it... well I decided I did not want to do commercials, and therefore, didn't submit the commercial sample video, well guess what? they asked me to do the commercial sample anyways so I had to improvise. But hang on, that's not it, they didn't even ask me to do the scene! Their people (not sure if you can call them employees because they DON'T GET PAID) will feed you home made sandwiches (yes, made right there in a corner inside the building), again, not even water was given... and then they promise you will be seen by agents and "important people in the industry", but guess what? is NOT true... it's just Louis and his helper (in this case Monique) and a couple of cheap cameras, a cheap amazon bought boom mic - not connected to anywhere- and a couple of screens (allegedly a zoom show case with "important people of the industry") . But hey, that's not all, when people asked Louis who are these people in the zoom call, he tells you they will give you the list prior to the show case (he doesn't), then the day comes, people asked again who are these people, and then he says that he doesn't want to make people nervous so he will give the list later... (he doesn't). After the whole thing, you go on a $40 trip to Warner Studios (the only thing included in this "convention" and the only thing worth doing). Now get this: They only send you the list after the whole trip is over, and actually, even a week after. Also, that list includes people who used to work for independent agencies, or brand new agencies with no impact whatsoever in a serious actor's life, oh and a couple of agencies who are intentionally spelled wrong that imply that they are serious agencies... but they're not. And all of this for the affordable price of $2,000 (flights, hotel, meals, and other... not included). If you ask me, it is a very nicely structured SCAM, that doesn't feel too much of a scam, until you tell someone about it... In other reviews, Louis Stancil as a person, wouldn't recommend either, you see this guy likes to yell at people in front of others, body shame girls, comment on people's accent, and of course he loves being praised by the people who slave for him (yes all of those poor actors that I truly wish they weren't in that situation, but unfortunately are helping him run this SCAM of a "school"). Save yourself the trouble, if you want to, just do the classes.
