Serious Concerns - Please Read Before Enrolling Your Child…read more I feel obligated to share my experience with this daycare/school, especially for parents who are trusting this place with their children's well-being. The owner/director is extremely rude to the staff and does not create a healthy work environment. There is also a clear bias and disrespect toward Americans, which is deeply concerning and unprofessional. Teachers are emotionally abusive to the children and lack patience, especially with kids who have special needs. If your child needs extra care or attention, this is not the place for them. If your child misses a day, there is no follow-up or concern from the school. Communication is nearly non-existent. Children are often not properly supervised, raising serious safety concerns. Staff are punished for taking time off, which leads to frustration and burnout--and unfortunately, the children feel the effects of that stress. This school may look okay from the outside, but behind closed doors, it's a toxic and careless environment. As a parent, I want others to know what's really happening. I can definitely say Japanese class is the highlight of my week! She does a great job with comprehensible input, using vocabulary that we understand paired with more advanced vocab, allowing us to think for ourselves when asked questions in Japanese. The lessons are comprehensive in that they focus on all aspects of Japanese, including reading, writing and speaking. The homework is individually corrected with feedback. I especially enjoy the speaking practice with classmates which is so helpful in learning to actually speak the language. I am also learning kanji in this class. If you are serious about learning Japanese correctly with the best sensei, then Eriko sensei is the teacher for you.

I took a Manhattan Prep class for the GMAT after trying to study on my own. Chris Gentry was my…read moreteacher and he was excellent. Classes were interesting and very interactive. The big thing for me was understanding how the test worked and the class was a huge help with that. I approached the GMAT initially as "I have to answer every question correctly" and Chris helped with adjusting my testing strategy to what I really needed (I'm going to get these types of questions wrong so let's just skip them quickly). The course also provides you with a ton of materials to use for studying. I didn't really like the strategy guide questions, but they were helpful if you really struggle in one area. All in all, I did wonderfully on the official test and saw ~110 point improvement in my score.

I sent my 3 year-old son to this center for a few weeks when we first arrived in Georgia last July…read more I was very happy with it and my son seemed to adjust quickly and looked forward to going. They have a lot of activities for the children and the teacher/student ratio is good. I felt like my son was well taken care of and also learning a lot while he was there. I also liked the webcam, it gave me piece of mind to be able to check up on him during the day. The only reason I eventually placed him in another program was because I needed a shorter, Spanish immersion program. And now, he is in Georgia Pre-K, which is more affordable for us, and still great. This center can use some improvement in terms of staff. Their turnover is high and they could use better teachers as well. There are some great ones and some not-so-great ones. More consistency would be good. Also, they are on the expensive side and prices just keep going up.

She has never been sick which is a lot to say compared to our last daycare. The reason for 4 stars is that recently PPA has had some big changes in the management department which is good so far but the changes that are now trickling down to the staff is not well balanced. There's nothing I despise more than lack of proper communication and in general they do it well and overdo it at times however I expect to be informed ahead of time when a teacher is removed from my daughters class to another class. My daughter and I have loved Ms Ann and Ms JoAnn and walking in to find out she was moved was sad. The turnover in the school is not high but there can be shuffling of staff it seems. Either was I would highly recommend PPA overall, my daughter is happy learning a lot and very social.

Here are my thoughts: Location - The location is spacious and cute instead, reminds me of an art gallery. Parking - this is where it gets confusing, its in a small space but parking was confusing for me. I recommend coming earlier to find parking. My favorite thing was the was that the instructor made sure each of us knew what we were doing before having us doing it on our own. I also loved the music while we worked. I would come back! It was very easy and relaxing!

We were a group of several couples so each couple created 1 rug ($75 per couple). That worked great for us, I think it would have taken us longer for each individual to make one, and it allowed us to use teamwork. You start off with a short safety demo and a chance for everyone to quickly practice. Beforehand they send you template options so you know what you're creating. They also let you send a custom design which is what I did. This was such a fun new experience! Once you get going it's pretty relaxing. You will need to return in a few days to pick up your finished rug. FYI, you can't see any signage from the street, but it's right next to the ice cream shop. Parking: paid street parking and a few paid spots right in front of the business.
