Now that there is new management, we had hopes for families involved and were extremely disappointed to find out that a parent of a very talented School of Rock student received an email threatening enrollment because another student accused her of "blowing" at him. The student in question is very talented and has been a part of School of Rock for 5 years. There were no witnesses to this "blowing at," and it was not captured on camera. The complaining parent stated that the girl made her son uncomfortable because the accused student is on the Autism Spectrum. School of Rock could have used this moment to educate others about neurodiversity, but did not. FYI, School of Rock had no prior instances or concerns about the talented student prior to this one complaint

I did have a minor setback on the 1st class I took with Eric he was going over how much money he made and talking about oh he had 7 figures this that and the other was very vague in a lot of the description and wasted my time. He made you feel bad for being his "business". The stencils and stamps the did have left were very old and didn't work. Also, the employees just seem really absent minded and not knowledgeable or interested. And whatever you do don't forget to take a picture of your art work before you go. If you don't, they will have no way to figure out if it's finished. They won't call to tell you it is finished. And if you don't go get it within 30 days it will be destroyed. Their system is very archaic and dysfunctional. They don't tell you that you have to take a picture, you're somehow just supposed to know this. Also, expect to spend at least $75-$100, which I think is very over priced. Just go somewhere else instead.

What a great activity for birthday parties, date night, or a girls day. They have pre made ceramics…read morethat you can paint and decorate. The options are endless of things to create! There are great inspiration pieces all around the shop and they usually have seasonal items out. You paint your item, they fire it for you, and you come back in a few days to pick it up. I believe you can also use their clay and make your own items as well! For the pre-made ceramics you paint, you pay one cost for the items and that includes the paint and firing. If you don't finish a piece in one sitting, you can bubble wrap it, take it home, and bring it back to finish another day! Feel free to bring your own food and drink!
