At one point they claimed my daughter had lice and would consistently send my kids home after they had been treated and cleaned. We even had a note from a professional clearing my daughter and they acted as if they knew more than the person who did it for a living. Come enrollment time, they use fear based tactics to get you to re enroll your child. "You'll lose your spot, they dont have many left, you will miss out". We re enrolled then decided to change schools. When we told them we were going in a different direction, they billed us $18,000 for an entire year my children DID NOT ATTEND. I currently need the transcripts for one of my children and none of the teachers will respond to me. It is very frustrating as we are trying to get her tested for possible learning deficiencies and they have basically ghosted us. Except for their debt collector who expects us to pay for services not rendered by LifeSong. LifeSong is not the school you want to send your child to if you're looking for a quality education or safe space for your child. They just want to wrangle you into an enrollment contract they will not let you out of and then try to bully you into paying up if you decide to leave.

Just recently took a job at this center to teach in the older 2's classroom. I was completely…read moredisappointed in the number of children in that classroom. I am not a supporter of ratio and that is what is happening here. I am a supporter of capacity in the classroom in any daycare setting. Overcrowding can lead to a chaotic classroom environment that is more difficult for the teacher to manage. The increased number of students leads to a greater likelihood of disruptive behavior and conflicts among students, especially with fewer resources to accommodate the extra students. Teachers in overcrowded classrooms often devote more time to dealing with behavioral issues and less time to teaching--something no teacher desires. This leads to aggression and high level of stress in the kids. This is exactly what I witnessed. There seemed to be this level of importance on videos and pictures taken throughout the day, which I support but that seems to get in the way of managing the classroom. At some points you had 3 caregivers in the room, 1 would be trying to teach curriculum to 5 students at a time and 1 one would be videoing the teaching while the other 1 was trying to manage the other 16 children in 4 different play centers. It is impossible. Also, this center does not provide a clinic area for sick children. I witness a child with a 102 fever sent back to the classroom full of other children to wait for the parent to pick them. Also, only management may speak with the parent about behavioral issues with the parents. I completely disagree with the approach and my reasoning are that it undermines the support team each child needs with the caregiver who is with the child on a daily basis more hours in the day that the working parent. It does take a team effort in the daycare setting and at home to encourage citizenship and to cultivate learning in each child. If I tell a parent on a daily basis that their child had a great day when in fact their child had been very aggressive towards multiple children the entire day, then I am lying to that parent. My point is this, I personally like the management team and people but I could no longer work there for the reason stated above. Again I don't think they are bad people but they can do much much much better.

Our family attended for four years (2021-2025) and observed increasing concerns, especially with the administration run by the Murdock family. Key issues of growing concerns included: -High teacher turnover, dismissed by the administration as normal but found to be worse than other schools. -Misuse or unexplained use of fundraiser money, particularly for promised security upgrades that were never completed (e.g., a buzz-in front door system). -Negligence with bullying, where a known student repeatedly bullied others and was only expelled after a serious incident, despite parent complaints. -Lack of leadership accountability, as all administrative roles and the board are filled by family members, leaving no room for independent oversight or appeals. I can't speak to non-returning students and families for other grades, but can say that with many of the parents in our child's grade that nearly HALF (of the now 3rd grade), including their older and younger siblings in other grades, left after the 2024-2025 school year due to these ongoing concerns.
