After completing my class and internship, I was able to find and got hired with major Dialysis company. I highly recommend this school for dialysis technician program. A hot mess! The start date for class was postponed two weeks later the day BEFORE the original…read morestart date because of a "family emergency". Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

Here's my story: I started Ashworth in 2022/2023 for General Studies. Everything was going well,…read morebut with my learning disability, I got a little behind. I paid for extensions twice, but I was still doing okay until February 2024, when I got COVID-19 very badly and had to pull out. I promised to keep on paying for tuition at $60 a month until it was either paid off or I returned at another time after I got well enough to be remitted. This past week I called and told them I wanted to be remitted and I wanted to switch over from General Studies to Early Childhood Education which I knew cost about $50 and still pay my $60 a month along with transferring some of the credits that I earned while doing my General Studies degree plan. Not only was the woman rude about me not paying the full $60 (because my paycheck doesn't hit my bank account until my bank opens which is 8 AM central time in Texas and I always pay on time) but she said I can still switch over but I have to cont. I am paying on the General Studies degree plan but I have to also do another account for the Early Childhood Education degree plan and start paying $79 on that account as well. I asked her what about transferring my credits from my General Studies degree plan to the Early Childhood Education degree plan she said they have to look over the classes I took and try to match them up with the Early Childhood Education... her tone of voice made me upset. After that I started crying, it was already a bad Christmas, and this woman made it worse. Looks like I have to find another college to take me if anybody will. I have worked very hard with very little pay as a cashier this past 17 years and I take care of my sister who is disabled and now I have to pay next month $90 (which changed from $60 without anybody telling me). So please look for another college, I just pray I can find one that will even take me now. :(

The paper did not have in-text citations throughout. The paper did not have a header and page numbers. The references are formatted incorrectly. However my paper is numbered, and the directions did not include in-text citations and a header. I did not have a header on any of my other papers because I know it's not required for student papers. And did not explain specifically what was wrong with the APA format and references. I emailed S. McGill for explanations but didn't get a response. I call but no one answers. I make an appointment to speak to someone; a student advocate, to request someone else grade the assignment. I was told I would get an update, but no one has updated me. that was two weeks ago.

DO NOT COME TO AVIATION INSTITUTE OF MAINTENANCE DELUTH. This school is a complete money scam and…read morethe teachers will even tell you this! If you sign up for this school they will make you believe everything will be done in accordance with FAA standards and that everything is done in a certain order.... THAT is 100% a LIE. You will be moved out of certain classes to accommodate the schools lack of ability to keep teachers hired. Every single piece of equipment is either broken or outdated. The instructors are in the door and out the door faster than a McDonald's drive thru order and that's because they are set up for failure from the start.. Instructors are being asked to teach classes with No Training, No Help, and No real knowledge of the topic being taught. The front office staff plays the puppet and is only capable of doing what corporate has allowed them to do. Unfortunately they are no help at all either. DO NOT COME HERE

My experience at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance Duluth campus has been very disappointing…read more The school advertises strong training and career opportunities, but the reality is far different. The administration higher ups make changes on a whim and tell staff the day of the same time to implement with the student body leaving the instructors stranded trying to break down the new school formatting. Communication is poor with the registrar and front desk personnel, and students don't get the support they need to succeed. Many instructors try their best and truly want the best for tge, but overall the program feels outdated, and more focused on collecting tuition than truly preparing students for the aviation industry. Job placement assistance is minimal for evening shift students and much of what was promised in recruiting never matched the actual experience. I would not recommend AIM to anyone seriously looking for a solid foundation in aviation maintenance."
