The school lack hands-on training which did not prepare us when we were sent to our externship, NOR set us up for employment. The school only provided BOOKS on top of BOOKS but the hands-on training. I have made several attempts to reach MR. LENNY DAVIS and whenever I would stop by, he would "Shoo me off" and promise he will take care it and he never did. The teachers there are always new NEVER CONSISTANT but this 1 teacher who also said she would get answers regarding promised hands-on she goes by Ms. Morales or Espinoza who students have complained about her as well. This company is not even an Accredited by the BBB. so please SAVE YOUR MONEY! Mr. Davis I WANT A REFUND!!!

I month or so after I started I received an email stating that GC was losing their current accredited and gaining a new one. This information would've been useful upon enrollment. Most accreditations are not universal - meaning you may not be able to transfer your credits to another college. Also, they hold your financial aid funds for a very long time which seems suspicious in itself. I received an email a month ago from FAFSA saying my funds had been disbursed to GC. When I called the school to ask about it, I was told that someone unchecked the box that needs to be checked to receive my excess funds. I checked this box when I initially enrolled. It should not have been unchecked. They offered no solution and tolde that I'd have to wait when I wasn't the one responsible for the error. All that to say I would think twice before considering this location.

Now, in 2019, I reached out to Saint Leo. I spoke to somebody on the phone, and then somebody called me again- her name was Kim. Kim was calling from the online school area. From that point on I got harassed and contacted daily. I told her that I was interested in considering transferring from Central Michigan University to Saint Leo however I wanted to make sure that all my credits would transfer over AND I wanted to get any scholarships I could, being a Georgia resident... Not only did Kim call and harass me every day, she asked me to confirm that I wanted to be an online student in writing - I told her only I only agree if I can get the scholarship that you can in on campus college. In addition she went further to have appointments with me, and then not appear, and then never told me that all my credits would not transfer from central Michigan to Saint Leo. When she finally did give me an unofficial transcript, it was well over a year of my courses missing! Kim Called me several times- refusing to schedule time to speak- as jf I'd just be waiting to spark to her. Today, after I told her that I was busy in a doctors appointment with my granddaughter- she became agitated. She asked me to have more consideration for her! Then she said I should at least let her know what I'm gonna do about my schooling. So I told her I will not be attending Saint Leo University and I do not appreciate the high-pressure tactics... to which she replied- "GREAT! Why don't you just go back to Central Michigan" You know what?? I will! DO NOT ENTERTAIN SAINT LEO- it's a scam... and if you hear from a crazy lady named Kim- RUN!

Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

Hello, My name's Larisa…read more I recently arrived from another country. I was planning my life here and my first step is to enroll for the free ESL course at Gwinnett College. After the course I want to continue studying. I visited your college and saw a reputable and reliable institution, that can give me the necessary education. It is essential (important)for me to improve my language skills as soon as possible in order to get a good job and develop my career. On 14th of November I came to apply for the course in person, I had collected and submitted all the required documents. Upon the application I was informed that I joined the group for the course starting in January 2025, and I have to wait for the email notification. In view of my future my studies I began to prepare and I adjusted my work schedule to the evening shift, infringing my family arrangements and personal life. For this reason I've adjusted my work schedule,my family arrangements and personal life so it won't distract me from my studies. The long-awaited January has come, there were no news from the college. When I had arrived to the campus I was informed that the group is full and I was left out... I haven't received any notice or calls from the college. Eventually, the assistant from room 812 gave me a list of paid courses. Currently I do not have an opportunity to pay for the course due to life circumstances. I'm really sad about the situation because after ESL courses at this college I would like to complete course on early child education. So I hope you will understand me and we will be able to figure out my education at your college and I will highly appreciate your help. Thank you for your time. Looking forward to hear back from you soon. Best regards, Larisa Konopleva

If you sign up for this school they will make you believe everything will be done in accordance with FAA standards and that everything is done in a certain order.... THAT is 100% a LIE. The instructors are in the door and out the door faster than a McDonald's drive thru order and that's because they are set up for failure from the start.. Instructors are being asked to teach classes with No Training, No Help, and No real knowledge of the topic being taught. The front office staff plays the puppet and is only capable of doing what corporate has allowed them to do. Unfortunately they are no help at all either. DO NOT COME HERE

The administration higher ups make changes on a whim and tell staff the day of the same time to implement with the student body leaving the instructors stranded trying to break down the new school formatting. Communication is poor with the registrar and front desk personnel, and students don't get the support they need to succeed. Many instructors try their best and truly want the best for tge, but overall the program feels outdated, and more focused on collecting tuition than truly preparing students for the aviation industry. Job placement assistance is minimal for evening shift students and much of what was promised in recruiting never matched the actual experience. I would not recommend AIM to anyone seriously looking for a solid foundation in aviation maintenance."
