Love my school! Just finished my final exam and I feel really good about it. My teacher is…read moreMrs.Mitchell and the instructor is Miss Thompson. I love them both and I'm so grateful for their help. If you want a career in phlebotomy or medical assistance, DEFINITELY come to this school. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Mrs.Mitchell will get NHA ready. I'm so excited for graduation tomorrow.

So here is my honest review that I copied from my attempted Google post... I never post reviews, but must say if you are looking for a real education from someone who genuinely cares and knows her job, Mrs. Thompson is the person to go to. She is truely an amazing instructor & person. Going through life changes, I decided to change careers. Although I was a bit concerned about learning something new later in life, this quickly changed. I was fortunate enough to be in Mrs. Thompson class. She has a special gift for teaching that very few people exhibit. Never once did I feel dumb or small for incorrectly doing something. Mrs.Thompson challenges you in a way that makes you strive to be the best at what you do. Her teaching technique is hands on, hands on, hands on. You will do, be the best, & she will not accept anything less of you. She is very direct but fun! Mrs. Thompson is amazing in explaining how things are done & not done. The class size was perfect, with a mixture of age groups from adult teen to grandparent. Everyone learning & training as a team together. It's never late to learn or change careers! I have been very successful since the day I started externship because I was ready & confident in how I was taught & what I learned. The certification exam was passed on 1st attempt with a high score. I have moved out of state & returned without any problems finding a job or being paid well wherever I've gone. Thank you Mrs. Thompson for all you have done & given of yourself to help us strive & succeed. Nothing less than the best!!!

I am a graduate of Chamberlain Chicago. It's a professional school, but guys - it is so expensive…read more Go to a community school, get your Associates, and then have a hospital pay for continued schooling. That is SO much wiser financially. I am still paying large unfortunate chunks of my hard-earned paycheck for this education that I could have gotten for much less. I would not advise, unless you have more money than you know what to do with. It is so much money here.

I'm currently enrolled in Chamberlain University's Nurse Practitioner program. While this is one of…read morethe country's largest nursing schools, it has a reputation for being a diploma mill. It now seems they're overcorrecting by making the program unnecessarily difficult, perhaps to improve their image. I'm taking NR507 (Advanced Pathophysiology), and the midterm was worded in a way that was incoherent--even though I hold an AA, ASN, and BSN. It felt like the test was intentionally confusing. The professor is a PharmD with little availability and poor communication. Her study guide and the test content did not align at all. There's also inconsistency in grading: prior cohorts received a 10%+ curve, but ours only received a 4% curve. This is unfair, especially when test design lacks clarity and support is minimal. Separately, due to offenses from over 20 years ago when I was a juvenile, Chamberlain told me I'd be subject to random drug testing and might not be able to sit for boards. I had to sign a waiver with no real guidance or advocacy. This feels discriminatory and poorly handled. Lastly, the financial aid department is unprofessional. I asked for clarification multiple times and stated I didn't understand the loan process. Despite this, they pushed papers in front of me to sign without providing proper explanations. The lack of transparency is alarming and feels predatory.
