Now they are falling off. it is very apparent that the gutters were put on with one-inch screws that did not secure properly to the house. I feel really embarrassed and ashamed to share this, but I want to share to help prevent this to happen to anyone else. Please be aware! Monday evening on 11/22/21 we had Navin Uppal the President of RS Seamless Gutters give us a quote to install our gutters for us. We were unaware of his scare tactics and gave him cash up front for$500.00 as a down payment for their services and signed off on the contract provided. Immediately after he left, we felt uneasy and decided to do research. (Yes, we know we should have done our research before signing anything. We are kicking ourselves about it since.) We found out that he has been reported to the Better Business Bureau countless times due to bad customer service. We called Navin back after 10 minutes and requested to cancel our service. Unfortunately, Navin refused refunding the $500.00 cash we just handed him, stating it was a binding contract. We couldn't cancel and that he was already across town. We offered to pay for his time and for coming out, but have not heard back from him. The following day, he blocked our number. He will not pick up our calls, emails, or respond back to our voicemail messages. Today (11/24/21) we notice online the company RS Seamless Gutters coincidentally is now permanently closed. This guy, naveen, is a fraud. After 6 months and $900 later, i still dont have gutters in my house. It is one excuse after another. Now, its snow... when he quoted me, he was saying that they work through the winter... unless they are putting gutters indoors, MN always has snow... DO NOT HIRE RS SEAMLESS GUTTERS. We were having trouble getting a gutter company to come out and give us a quote last summer (2020), but RS Seamless Gutters agreed to come out. Navin pressured us into signing a contract on the spot, and told us it would be 8-12 weeks (longer than usual due to covid) so that we would FOR SURE have our gutters by year end. Here we are, June 2021 and we just got our gutters. Navin will never contact you to let you know the work will be delayed. He will actually never initiate contact you at all. You will have to initiate all communications, and good luck receiving a response. The vast majority of our emails and calls asking for an update on when the work would be completed were ignored. When Navin did respond, it was with excuses saying his company was closed all winter (which is not true, his employee told us they were open and he did work for Navin in the winter) and that he had covid and therefore none of his workers could come out (which makes no sense). We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau demanding a refund since 8 months had passed without the work being started. Navin responded to our complaint with his full list of fake excuses, and said someone would be out in 2-4 weeks. We were just about to file the paperwork to sue him, and finally one of his workers came out to the house. I must note, there was ZERO HEADS UP given. The worker did an excellent job with the gutters though. I would give RS Seamless Gutters 0/5 stars if I could. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know. Navin Uppal was to come give an estimate for gutters. Appointment online seemed to work well and meeting was confirmed via email He did call the day of appointment before he was to come over but I was outside assuming he'd be rolling up soon. I called back, left a message and in about 90 minutes he called back, saying he had been here? Yet this time I was in house waiting for his call and I never heard door knock, doorbell or a phone ring. Let alone see him walking around the house. And if he'd been here, why not leave quote in mailbox or between doors? Navin would call back in about 90 minutes- with a verbal estimate and then he he mailed it. It was vague at best and had NO IDEA WHAT I WOULD BE BUYING- and he offered 60% off if I booked job in next 2 hours. Seems shady business practice. I'm guessing he's using google maps to look at houses and guess from there. read more

Incredibly shady business dealings. An unsolicited gentleman showed up at our door asking if we'd be interested in a quote. We said sure and the next day had an appointment. The person (apparently the owner?) showed up at our door without anything- no samples, no uniform and his company car? A Porsche. His inflated price was 2-3 times higher than any other quote we received. When we told Navine (the owner) that his prices were high, he was quick to drop prices to exactly what we had been previously quoted- but only if we gave him a deposit check RIGHT NOW. Oh, you want time to think about it? Well, he'll wait outside you're door while you think and grab your checkbook. You know that gut feeling you get when something doesn't feel right? If you read all these reviews and still go with this guy, you only have yourself to blame. Fine print states nothing is considered his fault if the project is late. It will be late. Took over 4 months to get done. Workers hurt? Hire new workers. He signs as many contracts as possible, gets your money, timeline goes out the window and he hides behind his no fault contract. Actually had the nerve to text me that customer satisfaction is not listed in the contract. Then leave voicemails that if I didn't pay him immediately, he would take out a lien on my house. Even though he was several months late. FYI, he was paid within a couple days of work finally being completed satisfactorily. Very arrogant & no sense of a curtesy about 'customer' service, being in the service industry. The biggest mistake that I did is not checking the reviews about this company before giving the deposit. RS Seamless Gutters is the worst company I have worked with. They haven't finished all the work on the contract and the quality of their work is very bad. We signed contract on Sep 25 2018. The scope of work on the contract includes (1) installing new gutter in the front of my house, and (2) cleaning the existing gutter in the rear of my house and installing a cover. Without a notice of when they did their work, we found out they only installed a new gutter in the front of my house but didn't do any for the rear. We called their customer service in April 2019. Navin was the person who picked up my call. Per his request, I sent him a copy of the contract, listed the jobs they had not done, and told him the needed repair to the new gutter they just installed. Until September of 2019, he finally made an appointment around December 15 2019 to complete the remaining work and repair the new gutter. Then in December, because of snow and cold weather, the appointment was postponed to Spring 2020. He asked me to call him around April 30 2020. In June 2020, I left a text message to Navin again but he didn't respond. In September 2020, I left him another text message. He texted me back requesting for the contract again, I texted him back with a copy of the contract and the list of to-dos again, and he responded saying they were not working much due to COVID. Since then, I haven't got any response from him or the company. In May 2021, I have texted Navin, called him and left voice messages. In June 2020, I texted Navin again to check if he received my messages. In August 2020, I texted Navin and called him again. Not receiving response from Navin, I called the company's customer number and left a voice message. No response either. They haven't completed the contracted work. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR GUTTERS! DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT! GIVE YOUR MONEY TO A MORE DESERVING GUTTER INSTALLATION COMPANY! Navin (the owner) had put signs in my neighborhood for 50% off gutters. I called and he quickly came to my house for an estimate and stated I must sign today or else I won't be able to get gutters quickly (within 6 weeks) and for less. I foolishly signed the contract. Shortly after, I found the numerous horrible reviews for Navin and his company. I immediately requested he not charge my card and cancel the contract. Of course, being the shady salesman he is, he then attempted to charge my card but I got a notification from my bank and it did not go through. After the charge didn't go through, he called me saying he could "work with me" but refuses to cancel the contract because it is binding and he already ordered the material and every piece of material was delivered to his warehouse. That's simply a lie- there is no way he got 300 feet of gutters delivered to his warehouse specifically for my home in 12 hours. We all no COVID has really messed with the supply chain for every business. But I digress. I called the Attorney General's office and under the Minnesota Home Solicitation Act there is a 3 day "cooling period" for contracts. I told Navin about my this law but he still won't cancel my contract and now he is getting his lawyer involved. I will update my review once this all plays out! Called for an estimate. Gentleman who returned my call was gruff and downright rude on the phone from the get go. Came out to do an estimate and arrived 45 minutes early. I was not home so asked him to arrive at our scheduled time because I wanted to be there to ask questions. He showed up anyway. Called me back and left a quote on my voicemail with a "60% off offer" that was good until the following morning. I called back to request details and ask a few questions. I was treated as if I were a bother and that my questions were out of line. I told him that I did not want to do business with someone who wasn't straightforward and clear. He started yelling asking why I wasted his time and said "f*ck you then." I have really never worked with a company as challenging to get a project done... from the lack of communication to the lack of committing to a date to the lack of follow up. They do a great job selling you and "offering a discount by signing up now", but then you will never hear from the sales guy again. (Chad... 3 calls and not one reply. Pretty poor!) And Navin was equally challenging with slow responses on emails/texts to one word non-committal replies. When after constantly calling and following up, I was finally told a date that they would install by (not a date they would show up), they appeared the final day (before we were moving out of state!). While the gutters look fine, they didn't even do what was listed on the contract. They "forgot" or "didn't read" that they were to install covers, so they had to come back. While I give the actual installers credit for the speed and efficiency, who knows how well done they actually are. There were a bunch of other complaints that I have with this company, but I think you get the gist and piling on isn't worth your or my time. I'd definitely look for a different company. read more

Signed contract with Navin Uppal from RS Seamless Gutter Co., Inc. on May 6, 2017. Navin, who claimed to be the owner, said the installation would be done early June or even end of May. I paid 50% of the contract value as deposit. Navin never contacted me to schedule the job as of now. I called him multiple times but he never answered the call. He never called back or answer the voice mail. I texted him on June 17th asking the installation schedule. He texted back on June 19th saying that he would let me know on June 21. Nothing happened yet, no call, no message. As always, he never answered the call. I am very disappointed about the absence of response and I start to doubt that Navin is running a fake company that cheat around. Based on what I have experienced so far, I strongly recommend not to use this company. Update on Aug. 8, 2017 After I filed a complaint as BBB, Navin called me back and apologized for the delay. He said it was because he lost my contract and therefore didn't know that they need to get the job scheduled for my house. The job for my house was quickly done within 3 days after that. I would like to rate RS Seamless Gutters company 5-stars based on our recent purchase and their installation and service. I requested an estimate via phone call from a flyer I got at my door and in the mail for new Gutters, and Navin, Owner of the company followed up within 24 hours with a personable phone call to schedule the estimate. He showed up on time and was able to give me a thorough estimate and explanation of everything under half an hour. We ended up getting a second estimate from another company, just to compare, and were surprised to find that RS Seamless Gutters estimate was over $1k cheaper. The salesman from the other company said that RS Gutters work and materials were much worse, but I did a quick Google search and the gutters RS quoted have a 100% material and labor warranty, so we decided to go with Navin and RS Seamless Gutters. The installation was much quicker than expected. One day, I received a phone call saying they received product sooner than expected; had a crew in the area and could the installers come today!? It worked out perfectly. The crew was very professional, efficient, and friendly. They were in and out in a few hours and the new gutters look and work great. I'm all around happy with the customer service, the quality, and the cost. I will definitely refer this company and product to my family, friends and neighbors. I would definitely read all reviews and complaints before contacting RS Seamless Gutters, and then think twice about contracting with them. The owner will provide a quote and expected installation timeline, but when the timeline exceeds the given quote timeframe, it is difficult or impossible to get a return call from them for an update. I contracted with them on May 31st, small job and not expensive and was told 8-12 weeks, but would try to fit me in with other jobs. I have left messages on their cell and business phone numerous times asking for an install update, with no returned calls. There is a lack of professionalism on their part for failure to communicate with customers! The owner doesn't have the decency to return a call and provide an honest and reasonable completion date. read more

First, the company gave me an "incredible deal" for $1798 it put gutters on our new home. It seemed reasonable, and I felt empathy for the toothless salesman, which was my first mistake. The salesman told me the company had the perfect color match and showed me the color, and I thought we were good to go. After installation, we realized the color was really yellow and did not match at all. The owner came out and claimed that we had a "verbal agreement" to change the color, even though he knew it didn't match. He said that the salesman had been fired and gave us a deal for $200 less than he was allowed to. He then said that if we wanted the right color we would need to pay $400 more. We were not happy but told him via text that was fine. He never responded, so we assumed he forgot about it, and at this point we didn't care. TWO MONTHS later, our dog walker tells me that there were people at my house taking down my gutters; she asked if they were supposed to be there. He never even communicated that they were coming, so NO they were not supposed to be there. Then he shows up on my driveway tonight, telling me he needs the $400 to pay his workers or else he will put a lien on my house. He claims he has called "several times" (no record of this either). This is a very long story to say, if you are considering gutters STAY AWAY FROM RS gutters. Service is poor and unprofessional. read more

The worst customer service experience I have ever had with a company. After realizing he was charging TWICE what the next company was going to charge I asked to cancel. Now he won't give me my down payment back. He says that if I want to try to get my money back I'll have to take him to court. He got super aggressive, tried out multiple lies to intimidate me into just letting him keep my money for doing no work. Currently working with the BBB and Attorney General to try get my down payment back from this crook. Two years ago they installed our seamless gutters and they are still in perfect condition surviving the hail and rain storms that we've experienced these last two years. I gave contract to RS Seamless (Naveen) to install gutters at my home on 5/30/2020 and paid $775 upfront and told me it would take 4-6 weeks to fulfill the order. Naveen was proactive to cash the check the very next day. I called him on 7/7/2020 and then he realized that it has already been 5 weeks. He tells me that by July end he will be able to install the gutters. I called him again on 8/7/2020 and he had all these stories of winds being too strong and labor not being available. He then said he will get work done in next 2 weeks or refund the money. So nothing happens for next two weeks too and on 08/25/2020, I asked him for a refund. He said that I need to write up an email promising to not write a bad review on any website and also state in the email that I am not dissatisfied with the service otherwise no refund. I have 2 other friends who signed up with RS on the same day to install gutters and they all have faced the same issue. read more

I received a quote at the end of July. The quote was provided by the owner Navin. I paid up front in order to get the install date prior to Labor Day weekend. Labor Day came and still no gutters. I made a total of three contacts via phone for install updates. The gutters were installed yesterday and Jeremy the installer was great. The gutters are good quality and well installed. I was disappointed when the installation date was delayed; however, I received updates from the owner, Navin, apologizing and explaining the reason for the delay, including the extreme winter conditions we faced this season. Mistakes and delays happen and when they do, I expect an apology, explanation and accountability. I received these things from Navin and in the end, have an outcome I am happy with. read more

We had RS Seamless Gutters install the seamless gutters. When we purchased them we asked if the leaves would clog the gutters and we were told they would not and if this occurs please call and we will come clean them out. When they came out to install the gutters they let our dogs out of the yard and run free through the neighborhood and did not tell us. My husband called them and left a message informing them. My husband discovered them running on the street when he got home from work. They never called to apologize. They are our babies! Then today I called and left two separate message about our gutters being clogged. They finally called back. The man I spoke with stated I had to have the contract in hand to be able to do anything. I started to tell him how unhappy we have been about their customer service and that I was going to report them. He told me if I did he would sue us for reporting them and then told me several times to "F" Off". He also said if I reported them it would not go anywhere. I am not afraid of this company and man. If he comes out and gets angry he could lose his temper and hit me. If he lost it this quickly over the phone. I do not know what to do about this since now I am fearful and we have this product by RS seamless Gutter. read more

The disrespectful lack of follow up from RS Seamless is absolutely appalling! We have never has such terrible service. The day we signed the contract, Navin stood in our driveway and assured us he would be at our home when the installers arrived due to the angled overhangs on our brand new house. The installers had to call him to try to figure out how they were supposed to install the gutters on our angled facia. He also told us RS Seamless was the biggest company in the area with a lifetime warranty and said his installers would do a great job that we will be happy with. We have yet to hear anything about fixing the multiple issues Navin learned about on the day our gutters were installed. Our gutters are pitched the wrong way in places, water consistently goes over the top and drips all over our deck, the screws are visible between the gutters and facia where the install guys missed the angle and multiple wedges are at the wrong angle... this is not acceptable and not the type of work we expected or were promised. We threatened to put a hold on our check due to the multiple install issues. Navin asked us not to do that and promised he would be out to meet with us as soon as possible and make everything right. That was June 1, 2016... almost 8 months ago... Navin blew off a meeting with my husband in August by saying 'oh I was in the area an hour and a half ago'. He was scheduled to meet with him between 4 and 6pm, being in the area at 2:30pm did not work for us. The last text correspondence was in September. I emailed him in November after my dog came in from the backyard dripping wet because the gutters drip, drip, drip all over our deck. Our poor dog was standing at the door waiting to be let in, getting dripped on by the shoddy gutter install. Navin's response to my email: "Let me know when we can meet m-f 12-4" No apologies, no when is a good time for you to meet? Zero customer service. Navin does not care about his customers, all he cares about is the bottom line. And how is 12-4 during the week a convenient time for someone who works full time to meet??? In December we were off for a week. I contacted him to see if he could come out and look at the gutter issues... funny he happened to be out of town that week. I had a relatively decent experience with RS Seamless Gutters. I received a quote in person from Navin (the owner) in late May. As others have mentioned, I heard about RS Seamless via a "half off" flyer in the mail. I of course new that it was only a marketing tactic and that the price would be inflated so that "half off" was really a competitive price, so I wasn't very upset about that. He first told me that he did the gutters on my neighbor's house up the street and pointed to it. I was 90% certain he did not, as that happened to be where my best friend's sister from childhood lived, so I knew the family VERY well. Whether he had mistaken the house for somebody elses, I am not sure, but I was told by the family that they never even asked RS Seamless to quote their house. Navin quoted me $2 less than the next closest bid, and I asked him whether his quote included drain tile beneath my sidewalk, but it did not, and that would cost an extra $400. I told him another company would be the entire house with drain tile for the same price he quoted, so he agreed to add drain tile at no additional charge. He quoted me 6-8 weeks for installation, and I had to put 1/2 the money down. 5 weeks went by, and I gave him a call to confirm an installation time. Due to heat and weather, he extended the time and told me to call back if they were not installed by the end of July. I called back at the end of July, and he told me that due to weather delays, we were looking at 12 weeks from initial quote. I stayed in contact with Navin throughout the whole process, and I supposedly had an installation the last week in August. I got home the day before my scheduled install, and the gutters were already installed. I thought that I would receive gutters on the far upper peaks of my roof, but I did not. However, from some self-investigation, this appeared to not be odd with my roof style. Overall, the gutter installation looks well done and like the installer took his time with the work. Cons: - RS Seamless doesn't actually draw a diagram of what they are installing. - You have to put 1/2 money down - The lead time is very long Pros: - The work seems well done. - They don't require you to be home during the installation (in fact, they don't exactly tell you when it happens, so you'll probably be at work). - Navin is very responsive on phone calls. read more
